Nestled in a wooded area among towering pines and surrounded by New York State Forever Wild Forest, On Franklin Pond is a newly constructed vacation rental with beautiful lake and mountain views. Attached to the owner's home, this lodging has a separate entrance assuring your utmost privacy. The owners are available however to assist with any needs. Situated 120 feet from Franklin Pond with a lightly traveled road between your lodging and the shoreline, you will find convenient lake access where there are kayaks and a canoe for you to enjoy. Paddle along the miles of shoreline scouting for wildlife or try your hand at fishing for bass or walleye. Close by, you will find excellent trout fishing in the Saranac and Ausable Rivers. Trails for hiking and mountain climbing are not far away, and we are just 20 minutes from excellent skiing at the Olympic Ski Center at Whiteface Mountain.

Kitchenette- at the end of the living room is well stocked with sink, under-counter refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, toaster, drip coffee maker and more.
Large Bedroom- features a cathedral ceiling and log beams. It has a queen bed where you will wake up to the beautiful view. There is ample storage with a large dresser and walk in closet. The en suite bathroom features a large Swan Stone shower and pedestal sink.
Outside- enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail in the Adirondack chairs on the patio area in front of your lodging. Watch the squirrels and chipmunks scurry about and listen to the chicadees as they feed from the bird feeder. A seasonal gas grill is available for outside cooking. A campfire pit is located at the back of the property, conditions permitting. Canoe and kayaks are at the lake shore.
