This is a large modern spacious 1-bedroom condo style apartment on the second level in prime NW Portland location, just 2 blocks from NW 23rd Ave. This like new 1,000 sq ft condo unit located on a quiet, dead end street in the highly desirable alphabet district, has an open floor plan featuring a bedroom with king bed and TV, full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, a cozy living room space with sleeper sofa, TV and balcony overlooking west hills. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stainless range for cooking, granite counters, and newer appliances including microwave and dishwasher. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV with Roku, fireplace, and air conditioning for warmer days. The bedroom features a king bed, ceiling fan and large closet. The unit has hardwood floors and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. If you are here on business there is wireless internet and a desk for your computer. This wonderful newer second level view condo style apartment has a quaint open floor plan with two French doors that lead out onto your own balcony for outside dining overlooking the West Hills.

The unit is located on a quiet dead-end street with lots of street parking plus a path at end of street for direct access to Thurman where the coffee shops, eateries and boutiques begin. Close to public transit… makes this a great place to stay whether for work or fun!

Parking is on the street and easy to find as it’s located on a quiet, dead-end street. Free one car parking pass on street. If you have an extra car, please let us know as we also have one-day parking passes.

Fresh & Airy Light Filled Condo

Ours was a 5 night stay in this lovely condo that had everything you would need. Perfect location with an easy walk to shops, restaurants & clubs. Very quiet since the building is located on a tree-lined dead-end street. We felt extremely safe walking home in the evenings. Check-in was a breeze and Becky the owner was so helpful. Our son lives in Portland and we will be sure to stay here again next time we visit!

We loved this space nestled near in one of our favorite Portland neighborhoods. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped well for meals. We felt tucked away though we were able to walk to shops and restaurants all weekend.

Lovely apartment in a great location.

Very enjoyable and cool get away plus good times with family.

The property is lovely, well maintained and very clean. Very comfortable with good amenities. Really enjoyed opening the French doors and basking in the cool air. Great place to get away from Tucson heat. Also, a very walkable neighborhood.

Comfortable accommodations for our two-month extended stay.

During our two-month rental we had plenty of time to get to know the area and experience the comfortable accommodations. The one bedroom apartment was relaxing for the two of us and we had many meals prepared in the fully adequate kitchen. While we were there the property around the rental group — walkways, landscaping, balcony and stairways — was maintained and upgraded showing the owner’s interest in constant improvement. You’ll also note posted signs from the owner that are all helpful for answering typical questions that would arise. The area close to the property is full of good stops for dining, coffee and shopping. 23rd street is the main retail drag within easy walking distance. Forest Park with access to extended hiking is a 10 minute walk through nice neighborhoods.

We would stay here again! Clean, comfortable and a perfect location. It was quiet at night which we really appreciated. Walkable to all the best spots in Portland. Close to great restaurants and hiking. The rental was very comfortable. Check-in and check out was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

A vacation within a vacation!

Impressive landscaping! Great instructions for check-in, and how to navigate the area. Walking distance to a number of cafe’s, a few shops and small library. The lush bathrobes were a great touch. Fully equipped kitchen; washer and dryer. WiFi was excellent. Very safe neighborhood!

Very nice condo!

Very nice clean accommodations! Especially appreciated the little amenities…e.g. coffee, tea, hot chocolate, condiments, bathroom toiletries, even bathrobes! And the location was near everything you’d need. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous stay

This property was top notch. Becky was a wonderful host and if we had questions she was available to us very promptly. I loved that the condo was provided with high quality things like towels, robes, paper products. Kitchen was well stocked even though we did not cook. It also had a really comfy sofa which was important to us. Bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this VBRO. You wont be disappointed !! Thank you Becky!!!

I enjoyed the most wonderful stay at this darling condo in Portland! The host's attention to detail truly made my experience unforgettable. From the cozy robes in the closet to the thoughtful supply of coffee for the week, every little touch added an extra layer of comfort and charm to my room with a view! Great location

The apartment was well located near funky shops, great restaurants, and a trailhead. Something for everyone or everything for someone. I would stay again and highly recommend this apartment if you're visiting Portland.

Comfortable Apartment- Great Location

Latest Visit to Portland

The accommodations here are wonderful. We stay here every time we are in Portland -- clean, comfortable and super convenient location. I hate to say to many good things about Becky's rental spaces because then everyone else will want to stay there too and it will be harder to secure space the next time we're in town. Thanks for these great little retreats where we start and end our Portland days. Bill

Nice space with great walkability

We loved the room to really spread out and enjoy the space. This property was safe, parking was super easy, and it was so close to a lot of great shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. We will definitely stay again!

Affordable spot in a great neighborhood

This spot was even better than expected. I was afraid it might be too sterile a condo, but it ended up being super cozy. That it's tucked away on a dead-end street helped immensely. It's like you have your own little spot, but then you're a five minute walk away from just SO MUCH. That there's a bus stop on a major route maybe a 2-minute walk away was so helpful. We could get anywhere we wanted to in the city with no car and very little hassle. Usually on these sorts of trips, I end up cooking at least a few nights, so I wanted a well-apportioned kitchen. We ended up going out more than expected, so I only used it for some small breakfast/lunch cooking, but could have easily done more with it. We did have a car for the first two days to do some further out excursions, and while it's street parking, we were always able find a spot right on the same street. I can see how sometimes you might need to look a street over though. Not much of a hassle, but I was glad we didn't rely too much on a car. If we ever go back to Portland, and I'd like to, I'd definitely stay here again. Might upgrade to another one of their properties if it was more than just my wife and I though. While it could sleep 4 (huge bed in the bedroom + a pull out couch), it would be a bit awkward if we were travelling with another couple. Recommend mostly for 2 people, but 4 would work if you don't mind that sort of situation.
