“Lilas” overlooks the historic fishing village of Cassis. The centrally located apartment is on the second floor of a residential building surrounded by shady palm trees and pines. Situated in the town centre, 300m from the nearest beach and port, you will find all amenities within walking distance. Lilas benefits from private, barrier controlled parking, a huge bonus in high season Cassis.

The large, air conditioned double bedroom has sliding doors that lead onto a southern balcony with wonderful views towards the sea, medieval chateau and Cap Canaille. The spacious, air conditioned living room shares the same stunning view; the balcony is a great spot for an alfresco meal or sundowner, watching the changing light at dusk and the illumination of the clock tower at nightfall. A fitted kitchen with household appliances (dishwasher, oven, microwave, 2 ring ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine) leads into a loggia where there is a washing machine and additional storage. The shower room and separate wc were recently refurbished..

There is also a hair-dryer, iron, ironing board, satellite TV, CD/DVD player, wireless internet, a cot and a high chair, . We have a small selection of books and DVDs and an aux cable so you can connect your own music devices. All linen (sheets, towels, beach towels, bath mat, tea towels) and household cleaning products are provided.

Inviting restaurants and bars spill out onto the streets surrounding the port and market square, both close to a safe, sandy beach. All this is within five minutes' walking distance from the apartment through narrow cobbled streets.

Spectacular hidden coves (les Calanques) are just a boat-ride away, alternatively walk or canoe to the limestone slabs and enjoy the sun drenched rocks; read, swim, sun bathe, snorkel ........

The colourful market comes to the village square twice a week. The scene is just as you imagine....olives, cheese, honey, fruit and vegetables together with that essential bustle of locals and visitors enjoying samples of the stallholders' fare.

Cassis is one of the truly unspoilt parts of the Cote d’Azur. Thanks to the national park, medieval castle and the famous vineyards, property developers have been kept out and Cassis has retained its 16th and 18th century architecture.

Our representative, Roger Chancel, will welcome you to Lilas and be on hand during your stay should you need any help or advice. Roger and I hope to see you in Cassis in the near future so you can discover its treasures for yourself.

Excellent location in Cassis

The apartment is well appointed with everything you need. The balcony faces and church tower and the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to the port. We were very comfortable and would love to visit again.

Perfect!

No words can describe the view from the balcony -- day and especially at night. We loved the property, its access to shops and restaurants and every detail carefully thought through for our convenience and comfort. A truly memorable stay.

One to remember …

Fantastically well located , within a few minutes’ walk of the cobbled streets, the fabulous artisan shops , the bars and cafes and the magnificent beach. The apartment is beautifully clean’ well equipped and very comfortable. An added bonus is the spacious balcony which provides a place to enjoy a view of the sea.

Delightful Stay in Cassis

The apartment was ideally located for us. Close to a grocery (Super U) and a short walk to downtown Cassis. You can also walk to the calanques if driving/parking is not a viable option. The parking space provided was good for us as it allowed us to keep our car and take a drive along the Route des Cretes. Bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. Roger was a great host and we really had an enjoyable stay.

Really neat appartment in very good and clean condition. Splendid view on Cap Canaille, the sea and the village. Very friendly and helpful staff, good parking directly on premisses. Heating and aircon work perfectly. Only bummer: the stair well has a mold issue which should be fixed…

Great view!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 3 adults. It had plenty of room, a nice bathroom (with great towels 😊) and a balcony with fantastic view of Cap Canaille! We were met promptly, by Daniela, shown where to park( gated parking included). She escorted us to the apartment and answered any questions we might have. She also left a a bottle of wine 😊 The apartment is in a great location, very close to the harbor. Cassis was one of our favorite areas, it is a beautiful little town.

Spotless top floor apartment minutes from the Harbour with great view.

Annika' s apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay in the picturesque seaside town of Cassis. My son and I were very comfortable there for a 4 day break in March and were even able to sit outside on 2 mornings for breakfast such was the weather. You'll need to familiarise yourself with the bus timetable to the station if you don't have a car but if you do there's parking on site and a supermarket 5 minutes away. There's also no lift which wasn't a problem for us but a few flights of stairs may not suit all. Lovely new bathroom and spacious bedroom and lounge with view. Would definitely recommend the apartment.

Just perfect!!!

You will want for nothing at this cute apartment. Close to everything, clean, safe and comfortable- even the pullout couch was exceptionally comfortable to sleep on w great pillows and linens. The updated bathroom/WC are modern and spacious. Even Nice wine glasses and dinnerware. We brought ear plugs so we could sleep w the sliding doors open and they easily drown out the morning traffic and allowed for the cool evening breeze to create a great sleeping temp. The view is spactacular!! (would be even better without the tree obscuring half of it) We hated to leave and will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely magnificent apartment with updated features and an unbeatable location! Terrific host too

The Lilas Apartment is THE place to stay when vacationing in Cassis! The location is unbeatable: a 4 minute walk to the docks and main row of restaurants with superb views. Despite being so close to all the activity, there is absolutely no worry of noise. We learned that the apartment had recently been renovated upon our arrival and this certainly was the case! Wonderful features and tremendous porch to enjoy breakfast and coffee as the sun rises and sets... including a view of Cap Canaille and the church. We were greeted by the representative who was absolutely wonderful and truly accommodating; very understanding when our train arrived a bit later than expected. The primary host is incredibly responsive, as well, and communicates any detail or inquiry that you might request. WHEN (not if!) I return to Cassis, I will 100% stay in the Lilas apartment! Would recommend to ANYONE!

Dream Holiday

Myself and fiance were on our second holiday to Cassis as we fell in love with the location on our first visit but this time we wanted an apartment with a balcony so we could enjoy relaxing evenings out in private. We weren't disappointed. The apartment was beautiful and the views from the balcony were breathtaking day or night. It is spacious and very comfortable and has everything that you would have if were at home. The beds were super comfortable and of hotel quality. The apartment had a barrier parking area (free) which is a big plus.It was just a short 5 minute walk to the centre/harbour and there is a fab supermarket at the top of the street. Our contact Roger was very helpful and did not hesitate to make sure he was available should we need his help. His knowledge and advise on the best ways to get to Marseille was invaluable as well as the best value restaurants to eat at in the town. We would want to return to this property should we visit Cassis in the future. Carl & Laura (Buxton, England)

Relaxing retreat

We spent a few days in Sept. 2014 there and, as was anticipated, had a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is basic but sufficient and we quickly settled into an enjoyable routine. On this occasion we didn't take the car with us and regretted this decision as we found it a bit restricted since we're used to just getting up and going, rather than timing buses and trains. Its a beautiful area to explore if you want to go walking and swimming. The harbour is lovely and a nice place to sit and have dinner but doing this every night became a bit tedious in our case, so we ended up buying some stuff at the supermarket and making our own light dinner, while sipping a nice glass of wine and sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. If the tree in front of the balcony is chopped down a bit (maybe it is now), it would be a wonderful view! I know its not quite that simple but still......... All-in-all, it was a very nice relaxing few days - but next time, we'd definitely take a car and explore the area more, without the local transport restrictions. By the way, the owners are very nice and helpful, and that counts for a lot. We didn't get the same treatment when we rented further along the coast the year before, so thank you all the best to Victor and Annika!

Wir waren knapp 2 Wochen in Cassis, bereits das 2. Mal in diesem Appartement. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet und die Lage ist unschlagbar. Im Zentrum mit Parkplatz und Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer und Cap Canaille. Im Dezember ist es immer noch angenehm warm tagsüber aber nicht so überfüllt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gute Lage, schöner Ausblick

Waren 9 Tage mit 2 Kindern (7/9) in der Wohnung - für uns perfekt Das Wohnzimmer mit der ausgezogenen Schlafcouch (für die Kinder) ist ein wenig beengt, was uns nicht gestört hat, weil wir nur unterwegs waren. Super die Lage (5 Minuten zum Supermarkt, 7 Minuten zum Bäcker u ins Dorf), super der Parkplatz, super die Kommunikation imit Verwaltung/Eigentümer (?), super abends der kleine Balkon mit großartigem Blick, während die Kinder im Zimmer dahinter schlafen…. (Nicht vergessen: Mückenstichsalbe …)

Superbe emplacement

Emplacement privilégié avec stationnement. A quelques minutes à pied du port, de la plage, superbe marché tous les mercredi-vendredi et à proximité des calanques qu'ils faut découvrir... Sans oublié les restos pour tous les goûts avec les bons conseils de ''super'' Roger. Cuisine bien équipée ....11 belles journées de rêves...

Cassis hors saison

Appartement agréable, bien équipé, très propre avec jolie vue sur le Cap Canaille et très central, exactement ce que nous avions espéré. Très gentil acceuil par Roger et réponses rapides de la propriétaire. Ce séjour hors saison était idéal pour apprécier les lieux, faire de la randonnée vers les callanques et découvrir les environs. En somme un excellent séjour.

Great spot for enjoying Cassis!

We’ve been to Cassis a few times and we really enjoyed staying here! The apartment is larger than it looks and has great balconies overlooking the ocean. Check in was easy and the apartment was well equipped and right near the grocery store! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We fell in love with Cassis whilst on a rock climbing trip several years ago. Cassis is a gem; it is a classic, old, Mediterranean fishing village steeped in history and packed with wonderful restaurants and shops. The port and the promenade is an eclectic mix of boats, yachts, bars, cafes and restaurants with a wonderful atmosphere of its own.
