We had an excellent stay at Palmiro's house and Palmiro's welcoming made it even better. We spoke on the phone a couple of times to coordinate (in italian) and Palmiro was waiting for us on our arrival and showed us around. He also left us a few baskets of fresh fruit and veg from his orchard which we very much appreciated and was easy and accommodating with checkin/out times. The house is comfortable with a beautiful shady and leafy garden. There is AC if needed and we switched it on a few times in the evening to cool down the bedrooms before bed. There's a space to grill, an outdoor shower and a supermarket, bakery, pizzerias and bar within few min walk.Palmiro gave us a card for a shuttlebus to get to the beach but we didn't use it and moved with our own car. Beaches are a bit of a walk (down/uphill) so worth keeping in mind but there's options for all tastes, small rocky beeches for snorkeling or wide sandy beaches with the option to rent sunbeds/umbrella.Palmiro asked us to water the garden as we were in very hot and dry months. I feel it was a fair request and we did although it does take some time to do.I'd certainly book again and would recommend the property.
