Great Place to Stay!

We loved every minute of our stay in this apartment. It is immaculate and the views from the windows are spectacular! The ownerā€™s list of restaurants was amazing. She spent a lot of time orienting us to the amazing town.

Perfect Time in Orvieto

Great location for vacation time in Orvieto. The window views are amazing- wonderful sunset. Oxana is the perfect host, very informative and responsive. She made us feel very welcome. The apartment is very well furnished and spacious, completely meet all our travel needs.

Beautiful stay!

We stayed here quite a while ago, just getting around to doing a review now. This apartment was my favorite vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Such a beautiful home in the perfect little town. The views were amazing and photos don't do them justice. Wish I was back there right now! Stay here if you get the chance, you won't regret it!

A perfect spot to stay while visiting Orvieto

Iā€™m cannot say enough good things about this beautiful apartment I was lucky enough to find while visiting Orvieto for a few days. It is perfectly located near the town center and all historic sites and restaurants are easily walkable. I was greeted on arrival and given tips and recommendations and Oxana was communicative throughout my stay, including helping find transport for a local winery tour. The kitchen is great but you wonā€™t need it because Orvieto has so many fantastic restaurants. If you are coming to Orvieto for a relaxing holiday (you made the right choice), be sure to reserve this apartment and you will have no regrets!

Top of the world in Orvieto

The apartment has the most memorable views to the West and North valleys below. Spacious, modern furniture, and wide selection of books. Functional kitchen for all meals in, washing machine to catch up on travelling so much is great too. The stairs to the third floor are fine if you need to burn off OD'ing on carbonara. Oxana your host also picked us up from the train station then provided us with an orientation of the apartment and gave great recommendations for food and activities. Book this place!

A wonderful Italian town and countryside experience!

The apartment was very comfortable, in a great and convenient location, and the view was wonderful! We ended up staying in to cook many of our own dinners because we enjoyed the magnificent sunset view from the window so much. Our host, Oxana, was very helpful with any questions we had ahead of our arrival and throughout our stay. You need to be prepared for a few flights of stairs. But worth it for a lovely view and lots of natural light. Overall, Orvieto was a magical Italian town and countryside experience for us. Thank you Oxana!

Perfect flat,perfect location, perfect historic location

Oxana went out of her way to make my arrival easy and pleasurable. Met me at the train station, helped with my bags, presented me with 2 liters of water and a beautiful and delicious fruit plate! Flat is extremely well furnished and comfortable. It is the first apartment in historic Italy with window screens. Trust me, with almost 180Ā° of breathtaking views of Orvieto and surrounding countryside you will want to keep those windows open. Flat is only 3 minutes to the bus stop. Bisses leave there every few minutes to a multitude of places. Perfect location.

From arrival to checkout, Oxana was fabulous. She met me at the property and walked me through details about the apartment and the town. She also made several excellent recommendations about where to eat, shop, and even fix a flat tire I got driving on the A-1. I cannot shower enough praise on Oxana as a host. If I could give this experience 10 stars out of 5, I would. The apartment is also in a great location less than a block from one of the main squares, and walking distance to everything. Yes, there are more than a few stairs, but worth the climb. The view is spectacular, and the apartment comfortable, large and well equipped. Finally, let me say a bit about Orvieto and the many friends I made in the month I was there. It is a magical place filled with many warm and welcoming people, excellent restaurants, and a good variety of shops many with hand made goods from shoes to ceramics - and great quality. If it sounds like I have fallen in love with a place and the people, I have, and you will too!

Lovely apartment, great position in historic Orvieto.

This is a extremely comfortable apartment with everything one needs for an enjoyable stay in historic Orvieto. Oxana met us at the station and was very helpful in providing information both before and after we arrived. There are two flights of stairs to be navigated before reaching the apartment so travellers need to be reasonably fit. The climb, however, was well worth it. The wifi works well, the beds were comfortable, the washing machine is efficient and easy to use and Oxana had thought of every thing we needed in the way of utensils. There was even an electric kettle and that is not always the case in Italy. We stayed for a week and found plenty to do in the city (though we did take the train to Arezzo one day). The cathedral is magnificent, the underground tour is well worth while and for those who donā€™t mind steps, St Patrickā€™s Well should not be missed. There are plenty of good restaurants in Orvieto and Oxanaā€™s recommendations for local establishments were well worth exploring. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone who doesnā€™t mind a few stairs and would be very happy to return.

A Delightful Home While in A Delightful Town

We love Orvieto. Staying in this modern, spacious and well-situated apartment enhanced our week there this year. Oxana, the owner, was friendly, smart and very responsive on a couple of small matters that came up (she updated her wifi SW which made it plenty fast for our needs and helped us regain TV access when we lost it by pressing the wrong buttons). She is clearly dedicated to making sure that people who stay there have a good experience. And we did. The apartment is recently renovated. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room was comfortable. It met our key criteria: Strong wifi, very clean, quiet, short walking distance to great coffee and restaurants, good steam iron (yes, really). The bathroom is quite large and everything worked fine. The overall apartment layout makes it easy for one person to be up and about while another one sleeps in, which sometimes comes in very handy. The windows are good and you can manage the temperature in the apartment by opening and closing the shutters as appropriate. You do need to be ready for stairs, but it honestly does not feel like four stories! We are (ahem) "mature" and it was simply not an issue. We would go back to this apartment next time and recommend it without hesitation.

Great apartment in the center of Orvieto! We loved Oxanaā€™s well appointed and tasteful flat. It was the perfect location for us to experience Orvieto like a local. Steps to several restaurants and a 2 min walk to the Main Street through town. Warning to all - there 60 steps to the top floor apartment, so be prepared for that.

Zeer geriefelijk, ligging zeer goed, wel 60 treden...

Het appartement is heel geriefelijk, piekfijn in orde, met alles er op en er aan. Jammer genoeg wordt er geen melding gemaakt vh feit dat de ruimte op de 3de verdieping ligt, zonder lift. Voor de rest, niets dan lof.

Loved the rental, close to restaurants, bus stop, and our host Oxana even picked us up on arrival. There are a few flights but the views are worth it. Weā€™re spending three months in Italy and Orvieto turned out to be one of our favorite stops, our accommodations was key. The apartment was tidy, and spacious for two of us, we highly recommend it.

Meraviglioso appartamento con meravigliosa ospite, in una cittadina meravigliosa

L'appartamento di Oxana ĆØ bellissimo, situato al terzo piano di un antico palazzo in centro cittĆ . ƈ molto spazioso, pulito, arredato con gusto ed accogliente. Dalle finestre si gode una splendida vista sui tetti di Orvieto e sulle colline. La cucina ĆØ perfettamente attrezzata. Ci sono molti libri in italiano in casa e diverse guide in italiano ed inglese. Oxana ĆØ una ospite super gentile, molto attenta, ha sempre risposto molto velocemente alle nostre domande e ci ha fornito moltissime informazioni. Insomma siamo stati molto bene. Orvieto ĆØ una cittadina splendida, Ci piacerebbe ritornarci e abitare ancora nell'appartamento di Oxana.

Schƶne Tage in Orvieto

Wir fĆ¼hlten uns sofort wohl in der gut ausgestatteten und sehr gerƤumigen Wohnung. Wunderschƶn ist der Blick Ć¼ber die DƤcher der umliegenden HƤuser und Kirchen. In wenigen Schritten waren wir im Zentrum. Alles Ć¼bertroffen wurde aber von der heiteren, freundlichen und stets hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin Oxana.

Delightful!

Oxana met us at the train station and took us to the apartment. It was immaculately clean and wonderfully located. We only had two nights here but wished that we had had more and would love to return. She was helpful and kind! we would highly recommend this for anyone interested in staying in Orvieto. it should be noted that there were about 64 steps up to the unit. However, this was well advertised and did not present a problem for these two travelers!

Summer in Orvieto

My husband and I stayed in this apartment and I couldn't have found a better place to stay in. The apartment was in the best location. It is close to everything and also quiet at night. The apartment was very well stocked and it had a big bathroom and bedroom. It also had lots of books and music, in case you wanted to relax. Oxana, the owner, was SUPER!!! She was so nice and always available for any questions we may have had. She gave us suggestions on places to go and places to eat. She made it very easy for us to check-in and check-out. In fact, since there was no one there the day we checked in and checked out she said we could come anytime we wanted to. When it was time to leave, we just left the key in the apartment and closed the door. We used this apartment as our home base and we went to several beautiful places close to Orvieto (Umbria). We even went to Pienza which is in Southern Tuscany. If you don't mind walking up the stairs, it is well worth staying in this beautiful apartment!
