WELCOME to our artfully furnished, bright and beautiful 2-story apartment, now available for long-term rentals (27 days + ) in the heart of Toronto’s eclectic Annex neighbourhood.

*This is a quiet home in a residential neighborhood and isn't suitable for late night revellers or parties.


With 1300 square feet spread over two floors, you'll have plenty of room for all your favourite activities.
• There are two bedrooms: the one on the 2nd floor has a Queen bed, ample storage, and a small desk - a quiet retreat. The primary bedroom is on the 3rd floor and has a King-size bed, a full ensuite bathroom, an inviting window seat, and a skylight.
• The rest of the living space features high ceilings, lots of natural sunlight, a large, eat-in fully equipped kitchen leading to your own private deck, a sunny living room with TV and electric fireplace, perfect for those cooler nights.

Parking: there is parking for 1 vehicle, if needed.

To access this apartment, you enter off a well-lit laneway behind the home. The location is very safe and walkable, with every convenience available within a one or two minute walk. Cafes, restaurants, post office, drug store, Metro grocery store, community centre with pool and gym, and the TTC.

Best base to discovered Toronto!

This wonderful flat makes you feel home instantly. The patio is heaven, so is the inside: Decorated with great, unique taste, clean, and only minutes away from public transport.. or you stay in the neighbourhood and enjoy restaurants,bars, bookshops and the ROM,all near by. You get easily to Lynn from the airport by public transport,or you can park your car behind the house. We stayed a week and felt totally in the right place ! And Lynn is the best host. Helpful with any problem, charming, (and a great artist as well as you can see on the paintings mm the walls!)

Outstanding!

Our group of 4 stayed in this lovely, comfortable home during the International Rotary Convention. The house has charm and character and we immediately felt at home in the house and the neighborhood. Lynn was an excellent hostess, checking with us to be sure we had everything we needed and giving us great suggestions about local happenings and places of interest. My only hesitation about giving this home the glowing review that it deserves is that I want it available when I get to return!! (Just in case it might be an issue to anyone, be aware that it is on the second floor with a bedroom on the third, no elevator.).

Comfortable and convenient

Upper floors of a townhouse with a rear deck, which is the entrance for the let. The house is comfortably appointed and the rooms are large. The kitchen is well appointed and the lounge is both large and comfortable. The owner Lynn is very friendly and helpful and the check-in was easy and informative. The location for Bloor St cannot be beaten and transport networks within easy reach. We were a bit disconcerted by a post midsummer that seemed to contradict everything that had gone before. Being aware of this Lynn asked us of our views, namely the stair to the upper floor, that she seemed to take onboard. Overall it is a nice property and so convenient and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great location

Loved the neighborhood! The property was nice as well, although it could use some minor repairs/updating. It was very comfortable and we would stay again.

Accueil de Lynn : top Location : top Situation dans Toronto : top (le quartier est super et rejoindre downtown à pied est un chouette trajet en traversant Kensington Market où il fait bon prendre un jus bio ou un verre dans une atmosphère détendue et hétéroclite bien propre à la ville. Surtout prenez vos breakfasts sur la terrasse pour profiter du spectacle gratuit des oiseaux et écureuils torontois !

Location was perfect!

Great neighborhood - great restaurants within a couple of blocks or only a 20-30 minute walk to downtown. The flat was very comfortable, beds were comfortable, private parking was very convenient. Needed to be deep cleaned and wiped down...but tolerable as we weren’t there much.

Great Accommodation, great Location

loved our stay here. Quaint and Homey. Close as close can be to major attractions in a city the size of Toronto. great area and interesting area to walk. Lots and lots of people walking. very Safe. And a big plus is there is parking which is a challenge in Toronto. highly recommend. Lynn is a great host and never intrusive. would definitely stay here again.

Thank you, dear Lynn, for the great stay in your home! It was absolutely great, a wonderful stay in a personally styled appartement!!! Thank you very much! Es ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Domizil! Ich war mit meiner Frau und mit meinen Eltern in Toronto, die zwei Schlafräume waren sehr schön, es ist in dem Viertel sehr ruhig, es war sauber und individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, ein kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor Ort war ebenso von Vorteil wie der separate Zugang zur Wohnung über eine Treppe und wunderbare Dachterrasse. Wir hatten das Glück guten Wetters und konnten den schönen Blick in die Nachbargärten auch einmal dort genießen. Supermarkt für Frühstücksutensilien, tolle Restaurants, U-/S-Bahn Anschluss alles in der Nachbarschaft. Durch Chinatown kann man auch gut zufuß bis zum CN Tower und nach Downtown laufen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen wollen und ziehen dies jedem Hotel vor. Danke Lynn!

Very cute and quaint

We enjoyed our stay on major Street, the home was perfect for our needs; great location. We enjoyed the patio, the upstairs bedroom is comfortable but the stairs are very steep. Please make sure that you replace the batteries in the smoke detectors and have them properly installed. We will come back on our next trip to toronto.

We loved our stay at Lynn's home; so close to so much!

We loved staying at the apartment on Major Street. Lynn was a wonderful host and had thought of everything we might need. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our several day stay. We didn't cook at all, but the kitchen was well equipped for that. Two bathrooms meant we didn't have to share more than we are used to. (A treat over a hotel, for sure!) It really felt like a home away from home. The property was so close to a major hub transportation station that getting around the city was made so easy. Plus, it is within walking distance to several museums. There are so many places to shop and eat within a block or two that we had trouble choosing. (Although shout out to Cobbs Bakery, New Generation Sushi and BMV books - all great and all on the next or same block!) If we have a return trip to Toronto, we won't even look for other options, we will book with Lynn at the Major Street property. Thanks, Lynn! Sarah, Ross and girls

Great Location!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Lynn’s home. The location is perfect, easy access to lots of restaurants and cool parts of Toronto. The unit is clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Toronto.

Our overall stay was great. Lynn was a gracious host. The apartment was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The only reason we didn't give her a 5 star was the issue with the air conditioning. The apartment was quite warm and uncomfortable for us to sleep. Even after the HVAC crew was supposed to have fixed the problem, the apartment didn't cool off the entire weekend so after the 1st night we had to go purchase a room fan.

The apartment is lovely, well appointed and comfortable and so charming. We had an excellent stay.

We felt very welcomed at the apartment. Lynn had to be away but provided all the information we needed about the apartment ahead via emails etc and there was ample info at the apartment itself. The neighborhood is quiet and yet close to a bustling arts district. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for a longer stay! The kitchen was one of the best equipped we’ve experienced at VRBOs. Beds and linens were of excellent quality and comfortable.

Lovely

My husband, myself and our 2 college aged sons loved staying at Lynn's. It was in the absolute perfect location, we walked or took trains/subway everywhere we went. The house was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is so peaceful even tough you are steps from restaurants/pubs/shopping, you would never know it while inside the house. I would absolutely stay here again. Lynn, the host was gracious and most helpful if we needed her for anything during our stay.

Lovely place, amazing neighborhood

The house was just right for our family (me, husband and our two teenage boys). Our host, Lynn lives downstairs and greeted us when we arrived. She made up the pullout bed in the living room so our kids each had their own space. Everything was clean and comfy, and the house is filled with her original art. We absolutely loved the neighborhood. We could walk to a variety of wonderful restaurants, bars, bookstores, food markets, etc, yet the street itself was very quiet and pleasant. Would definitely come back!

Newly renovated and maintained beautifully...I love the beauty and quiet of my home, in spite of its being a few houses south of Bloor...incredible!

With 1300 square feet, you'll love having 2 whole floors to spread out in. It's beautiful and bright and feels a bit like a treehouse! Guests love all the attention to detail - the Victorian bathtub, the skylight in the primary bedroom, the fun retro kitchen outfitted with every convenience you need. The living room is especially cosy, with a gas fireplace and incredibly comfortable couches for reading or watching your favourite show...
