Sobre esta propriedade
Medieval hamlet
On the spurs of the mountain where stretch villages of another age, with its Baroque church, considered as one of the five most beautiful of Corsica, the Cascade, the fortified hamlet of TEVOLA TOURS and, of course, the legendary tree of the novel MAL'CONCILIO, the village inspires various creations, the most recent being the shooting of the clip CORSICA, which appears in the album MEZZU-MEZZU which one knows the success. In this clip (see Link CORSICA:), PATRICK FIORI and PATRICK BRUEL sing the famous CORSICA down the path that leads to the TEVOLA TOURS. Place of many shootings to be the setting of the novel MAL'CONCILIO, of Jean-Claude Rogliano, become a best seller (see Link FRANCE 3-TF1:) this village was, precisely, chosen for the atmosphere of magic which is clear of the landscape.
In Carchetu, in the heart of the Castagniccia, this 13th century tower restored by the writer Jean-Claude Rogliano who made it an admirable guest house rented by the week. The charm of this unique place is added the welcome from the owner, inexhaustible when asked about the hero of his latest biopic, Theodore of Corsica, this German trooper became king of Corsica before ending his life in London pitifully . THE NEW OBSERVER from March 11 to 17, 2010
But the late season also has its charms. Especially in the hinterland. "Corsica is never as beautiful as at the time of the Indian summer: the beeches are rust, straw yellow chestnut, bronze ash and purple cherry," enthuses the novelist Jean-Claude Rogliano, who has built a handful of cottages on a promontory in Carchetu, in the heart of Castagniccia, this inextricable forest south of Bastia. From the incredible overhanging pool, we have a breathtaking view of the mountains, the valley and the village of Piedicroce. "In the evening, we go out a big table between the chapel and the medieval tower, we grill a little wild boar, and friends spend singing," he continues. Because Corsica out of season, it is also the Corsicans out of season: more available and more inclined to share their traditions than during the summer shot.
EXPRESS
A row of houses stretches its spine of gray roofs. In Sainte Marguerite church, one of the few in France where, due to lack of resources, the paintings have not been modified since the end of the 17th century, time has stopped. The village served as a setting for the novel Mal'Concilio: on the stone lace of the pediment of the church, at the foot of the waterfall or between the Tevola towers, we expect to see the light shadow of Lesia, heroine of the novel. Moreover, its author holds very nice lodgings .. ......... .. But here, we are not in any house. The framework, as we have said, is unique. Your hosts too. Jean-Claude Rogliano, the author of Mal'Concilio and other books still, Jean-Claude is a personality, a Corsican figure of Corsica. Erudite and inexhaustible about the culture and the island history (language, music, customs, events), it is simply in love with its island, and one understands it ......... In short, an address of high corsiness, exceptional. THE ROUTARD GUIDE
"A scemu does not face centu" ("A madman makes a hundred"): with a broad gesture, Jean-Claude Rogliano shows his hamlet, rebuilt stone by stone, which he made six rural cottages. Since then, in his village of Carchetu, in the heart of Castagniccia, others have followed his example. "These ruins, I fell in love with 8 years," says this writer. The story that made it known (Mal'Concilio) was set in this wild setting, between waterfall and chestnut, at the bottom of the valley, at the end of the road. An extreme place, a kind of mountain Ushuaia ....... THE DOSSIERS DU DUCK

from 08/08/2015 to 15/08/2015 - VOTAT CLAIRE Exceptional setting The adventure begins on the road that winds to the end of the world. You will not go further, it is a cul de sac, a green setting where sings a surprising suspended swimming pool with panoramic views over the Carcheto valley. A cottage designed in these fabulous unique tower houses in Corsica where everything here is made to take you into the world of epic tales and Corsican legends. With icing on the cake an exceptional welcome from Jean Claude and Danièle, always ready to show you the best ballads, discoveries and meetings to make in this region of Castagniccia, without tiring to tell the rich history of Corsica. I just hope to go back.
from 18/07/2015 to 25/07/2015 - REMOND JEAN-LUC macrostigma Stay with friends magical place The arrival is already an adventure, breathtaking setting, plunging and breathtaking view of the circus surrounding Carcheto ... And what about the reception of the family ROGLIANO, unequaled, already half a dozen stays and I do not I do not intend to stop there ... Accommodation in one of the medieval towers of Tevola breathes authenticity ... And then we feel associated with the village life, the feasts, the processions, the shows sometimes. hikes of all levels and covered ... "Hanging pool "and yes like the gardens of Babylon ... Finally I" add a little but I feel so good that every time it's hard to leave ... • from 07/25/2015 to 8/1/2015 - WERSINGER LAURENCEHoliday with family Very nice meetings !!! After having booked the cottage and spoken with the owner, it is exactly as we imagined our holidays: simple and sufficient lodging (for less than 500 euros the week in high season), a life rather outside (the site and the region are beautiful), people who meet, meet, discuss their discoveries of the day (both cultural and culinary), children who mix and organize themselves ... Jean-Claude, Danielle and their children are always available to advise us, inform us, help us out, and also share good moments ... Thank you and see you soon !!!!
from 09/05/2015 to 23/05/2015 - COQUERELLE JEAN vadrouilleurs Family stay Tèvola We discovered "Gîtes de France" and the region and it was a nice surprise !! We received a warm welcome from our hosts who shared their passion for Castagniccia, Corsica, its history, culture and traditions. We had a wonderful time listening to Mr Rogliano and his wife ... the Tevola Towers have a soul and it is a privilege to stay there! As for the pool, there is a magnificent view overlooking the valley! Needless to say, we hope to return someday.
from 15/08/2015 to 29/08/2015 - LEMP SOPHIE Family stay Very nice holidays! On holiday with our two daughters, we had a great stay in Carchetu. The setting is beautiful. Swimming in the pool gives the impression of flying over the mountain. The cottage is simply furnished but the comfort is quite sufficient. The owners welcome their guests warmly and the meetings with the occupants of the other lodgings are often beautiful. We stayed for two weeks and have only one desire: come back!
from 27/05/2015 to 03/06/2015 - PETIT WILLIAM In the heart of the chestnut forests First trip to Corsica for my wife and me. The Tevola towers stand in the heart of the Castagniccia, in the middle of the chestnut forests. The valleys around the cottage are really worth seeing. We enjoy the view from the windows and the pool. The accommodation contains all the necessary amenities, in very good condition. The welcome of the owners was very warm. We could not have hoped for a better way to discover this beautiful island.
