Charming and Bright!

This cottage sleeps 6 and has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a cozy stone fireplace and open concept.

Located in a small inlet off of Muskoka Bay near Gravenhurst, guests can boat into town and enjoy the open market at the Muskoka Wharf. Approximately 10 minutes by car into Gravenhurst.

There is a stunning lake view from the large deck at the cottage and dock at the water where guests can enjoy the view of Muskoka’s famous steamships; the Segwun and Wenonah which pass regularly.

Jump off the dock for a swim in the deep water or play in the shallow water at the sandy beach – great for families with young children. Pedal boat and canoe are included!

3 bedrooms - Master bedroom with queen bed, two rooms with twin beds. BBQ and Patio furniture on large deck.

Great area!

Beatrice was so kind and accommodating. The property was perfect, lots of outdoor space, and a large dock to lounge on all day. The cottage itself has everything you need, and was clean and tidy. Will certainly book again in the coming years.

Check-in was very easy. The property is beautiful. Beatrice is very nice and quick to respond to anything you may need.On very hot days a portable air condition would help. The bathroom is small.A clothes line would be nice.Overall a nice relaxing holiday.

Enjoyed our stay

Cottage was as advertised. An older cottage with modern touches, not fancy, but very functional. Queen bed could use a new mattress a it was soft and a bit lumpy but twins were ok. We enjoyed our stay.

Charming & Bright Muskoka Bay

The cottage is very nice but somewhat small. Beatrice is a very nice host and she looks after any problem you may have at the time. The beach and swimming area are very nice as well. The dock is great and it might be the largest in the Gravenhurst area.

Delightful and relaxing

I had a delightful time during my week at this cottage. The location in Gravenhurst on Muskoka Bay is beautiful. Sitting on the deck I was able to see the Segwun and her sister ship Wenonah cruise by at regular intervals. Having morning coffee there was especially enjoyable, as I was often visited by black squirrels, red squirrels, song birds, and mallards. My favorite visitors were the loons, circling the bay in the early morning and again as dusk approached. Sometimes they would wail out a cry that might be mistaken as mournful to those unfamiliar with this Muskoka regular. Muskoka Bay remains fairly calm even when steady winds dissuade boats from the larger water on the lake. For a small additional fee I rented the boathouse which easily fit my 20 ft. bowrider. There was also a canoe and paddle boat available for renters who wanted a slower or quieter mode of transportation. The warf at Gravenhurst is only a few minutes away by either car or boat, and offers tourist type shopping as well as several charming restaurants. The owner lives next door and is a helpful, accommodating host. There was a beautiful gift basket on the table when I arrived with a nice white wine, popcorn, kit-kats, and my favorite - Bea's homemade blueberry jam. Blueberries grow wild in Muskoka, and the blueberry jam immediately reminded me of my childhood; picking the berries in the bush and bringing them home to my grandmother who would transform them into the most magical blueberry pie. Everything about the cottage seemed to share a bit of that Muskoka magic, and although each summer I find myself a year older, a week in Muskoka always seems to rejuvenate the body and soul. Thank you Beatrice for a wonderful Muskoka vacation!

Lovely rustic cottage

Lovely rustic cottage with good swimming and a shady beach for young kids. Excellent location, close to Gravenhurst. Use of kayaks and paddle boards added to enjoyment of lake. Only rating four stars as cottage had a number of cobwebs and view of lake from cottage was obstructed by two boathouses which wasn’t clear from listing. Overall would recommend. Thanks for a nice cottage weekend.

Our third summer in a row. Stayed for two weeks. Just the right location to sit by the lake to swim, boat, paddleboard or read(with a drink of course) The family very much enjoys going here!

Muskoka Vacation

This was an enjoyable week of relaxation that met all our expectations. The host, Beatrice, was wonderful in promptly helping us out with some items we'd forgotten. Our pets, Texas the cat and Tigger the Husky were also very pleased and relaxed and thoroughly entertained by the comings and goings of chipmunks. Except for one late afternoon, the weather was cooperative. The property is readily accessible to Gravenhurst for shopping and touring and is one we will likely consider for a return week.

Muskoka stay

Our family spent three days at this cottage. The owner is lovely, helpful, accommodating and is very open to answer all your questions .The waterfront was beautiful, with a shallow sand entry and at the end of the boat house deep water for swimming. Beautiful location and the lake was stunning. The cotragw was the right size for us. The cottage is a rustic cottage for those of you looking for the rustic cottage feel. For those with a fancier style this may not be for you . Thank you for the memories! We had a great time. Tracy

Weekend getaway

Great place for the family to get together and relax for a few days. Lots of fun on the water with kayaks and pedal boat and fishing from the dock. Lake was great and the weather was good. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed Had a wonderful time and will look at doing it again. Thanks Beatrice!

Lovely family cottage.

This charming cottage is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Lake Muskoka. Wonderful private beach and dock for swimming. The perfect little bay on Lake Muskoka

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The cottage was exceptionally clean. It has everything you need plus additions of kayaks, paddleboat. The walk in beach area is exceptionally rare in the Muskokas and would be perfect for little children. Thank you Beatrice for being a perfect host and now a friend.

Lake Muskoka Cottage Rental

The overall experience was good. The cottage was pretty much as described. It was clean and the owner was there to welcome us and was quickly there to respond to our questions. The lake was beautiful. Only criticisms would be the washroom was small and access to the dock a little difficult.

Canada Day escape

Great experience , super friendly and responsive host. Despite the iffy weather we enjoyed the quiet bay and our nieces loved the little sandy beach. Bring all your towels / sheets / food / water / TP / OFF for mosquitoes and the cottage has everything else including nice beds and hot shower and kayaks ! Highly recommend for 2 couples or small family . Would return!

Wonderful place for a family vacation.

I rented this cottage with my daughter and her family including a five year old. We had a lovely time. The property is perfect for younger children with a sallow beach area. The host is responsive, helpful, and very pleasant. I would book again without hesitation.

Paradise at Parker's Point

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. We had a lovely gift basket waiting for us on the counter. Which we surely enjoyed. Beatrice was there to great us and if there was a problem, which there was not, she was a text away. We will be renting again, as there is a small beach area for the grandbabies and a nice three sided dock around the boat house to sit .

This cottage has something for everyone! It has a shallow sandy beach for kids, dock for sunbathing, deeper water for swimming, BBQ on the deck and comfortable interior. My family and I renovated it top to bottom so everything is clean and fresh! The open concept layout is great when the family is inside and the cozy stone fireplace adds charm to the space. Kids, pets, all are welcome!
