The villa was extremely clean throughout even the outside area with beautiful plants and palm trees etc gave the whole area a very tropical feel.The host Lyz was amazing, her bubbly and very helpful personality helped us settle in and enjoy a relaxing and peaceful break.We would come back tomorrow so thank you.

We spent a lovely 6 nights at this wonderful house in the village of Lajares, and just wish it had been longer.From our first meeting with Lyz at the gate of the property, we felt welcome and at ease. She allowed us a much earlier check in than was advertised for which we were very grateful. She showed us around the house, which included chilled water and wine in fridge which was appreciated.The house was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable.The garden area was a place of rest and tranquillity, just what was needed after a day out exploring.Lajares is well situated to explore the north of the island, and has a good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the house.We would definitely return should we be in the area in the future.Thank you Lyz for your warm hospitality.

Lovely house

Lovely house with lovely outside spaces. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Close to town for restaurants and local supermarket. (Also Lidl in Corralejo.)Great holiday

Cozy Retreat with Excellent Hosts and Perfect Location

I enjoyed my time at Lyz and Gilbert's. The house was not only clean and comfortable but also well-equipped with everything I needed for a hassle-free stay. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and quick to assist with anything right away. The location is perfect – close to everything while still offering peace and quiet. Whether you're looking to relax or explore the area, this is the ideal spot. Highly recommend!

A heavenly stay

My partner and I stayed for almost four weeks at Gilbert & Lyz's place and had a wonderful time. The property, which was exceptionally clean, is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and when we needed something Lyz was happy to supply it. The garden is as beautiful as in the photos, it is fairly secluded and we spend many hours sunning ourselves there. Lajares is a great little village. We discovered a very popular bakery near the supermarket where we got delicious bread, and a fabulous pizzeria 'Roje Tomate' near the children's playground in the village. Venturing further out, a number of beaches and towns are nearby (about 15-20 min car drive) and during February they are not very crowded either. Driving is a pure pleasure, the roads are empty and are in pristine condition. We found that almost always the people on Fuerteventura are friendly, relaxed, helpful and ready to chat. The entire atmosphere feels safe and mellow. Gilbert and Lyz are wonderful hosts, we were warmly welcomed and had opportunities to chat with them about life on Fuerteventura which left us feeling very connected to this island.

Mit Potenzial nach oben

Das Haus liegt im Norden der Insel und ist leicht zu erreichen mit einem Mietwagen. Das Haus hat einen schönen kleinen Garten mit Terrasse, Sonnenliegen, Hängematte und einem Grill. Guter Sonnenschutz vorhanden. Leider ist das Haus sehr von Ameisen befallen, sobald es etwas wärmer war, kamen hunderte Ameisen auf Terrasse, Badezimmer, Esstische und sogar im Babybett waren Ameisen zu finden. Das beseitigen der Ameisen im Urlaub war nicht schön, und versaute einem bereits morgens die gute Laune. Wir bekamen ein Putzmittel von der Vermieterin um die Ameisen zu entfernen. Auch lag morgens eine Kakalake auf der Terrasse. Was aber nur einmal der Fall war. Für den Esstisch würden wir eine Beschichtung empfehlen damit sich keine Essensreste in den Tischrillen verstecken können und somit nicht morgens 1000 Ameisen zu finden sind. Die Küche ist in Ordnung, leider fehlt eine Ablage um das gespülte Geschirr trocknen lassen zu können. Der Ofen hat 4 Platten wo nur 2 von Funtioniert haben. Das Geschirr war zum Teil verschmutzt und musste vor dem ersten Gebrauch nochmal gespült werden. Das Badezimmer war sehr gut, bis auf die Ameisen die dort manchmal zu finden waren. Die Schlafzimmer sind in Ordnung, Platz genug in den Schränken um alles zu verstauen, es gibt auch einen Safe um Wertsachen zu verstauen, leider haben wir den Schlüssel dafür nicht erhalten. Die Betten waren nicht bequem und die Matratzen in beiden Betten durchgelegen. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, was positiv zu erwähnen ist. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, bei Ankunft gab es Wasser, Wein und Milch für die Kinder. Auch wurde nach ein paar Tagen neue Handtücher gebracht und gegen die gebrauchten ausgetauscht. Was wir nicht genutzt haben, da wir die ersten einfach gewaschen haben. Verständigung gut möglich auf Englisch. W lan nicht in allen Räumen vorhanden. Verbindung bricht ab. Fazit : Das Haus ist nicht schlecht, müsste aber an der ein oder anderen Stelle verbessert werden. Lage ist super.

Zuerst zu sagen, dass wir kein Deutsch sprechen und ich einen Übersetzer verwende, um Ihre Meinung zu beantworten, und ich werde kurze Antworten geben, um mich gut verständlich zu machen. Sein Besuch fiel mit einer Hitzewelle von bis zu 38 Grad zusammen und die Ameisen genossen diese Situation, um aus dem Garten herauszukommen, nehme ich an, genau wie jedes andere Insekt, das zu sehen war. Wir entschuldigen uns für die Unannehmlichkeiten, aber als Sie uns mitteilten, dass wir Ihnen ein Produkt angeboten haben, haben Sie nicht gesagt, dass es gelöst wurde. Die Matratzen der beiden Betten sind neu, gekauft 2021, sie sind in keinem schlechten Zustand. Sie sind weder hart noch weich, damit sich alle Gäste wohlfühlen. Ich wasche das gesamte Geschirr in jedem Gasteingang, es tut mir leid, wenn Ihnen etwas nicht gefallen hat, nein, wir haben keine Spülmaschine und wir erklären es in den Services des Hauses. Wir sind 24 Stunden am Tag für unsere Gäste da und es tut uns sehr leid, wenn ein Gast mit seinem Urlaub nicht zufrieden ist. Wir würden einem Gast niemals eine schlechte Bewertung geben, denn wir sind keine Richter, wir teilen unser Haus nur gerne, damit sich die Familien, die uns besuchen, wohlfühlen. Vielen Dank.

Être accueilli par Lys et Gilbert, c'est d'abord faire une très belle rencontre ! Concernant la location c'est encore mieux que sur les photos ! Propreté impeccable ! On imagine le boulot ! La décoration est de très bon goût : les photos de Gilbert méritent vraiment que l'on s'y attarde ! Le jardin et la terrasse sont ravissants, et invitent à la paresse ! Enfin la localisation dans ce charmant village de Lajares est idéale ! Surtout pour ceux venant faire du kite/wing/wind surf, on est au point milieu des différents spots. L' ambiance de la localité, loin du tumulte touristique, permet d'être plus au contact de la vie locale. Bref ! Si vous êtes amateurs d'authenticité alors pas d'hésitation : choisissez Lys et Gilbert !

Welcome break!

Nice clean property very spacious for the two of us but would easily accommodate more! Owner very discreet but had hand if need be and extremely nice! Check in and check out was really easy. Easy walk to centre of LAJARES and 10 minutes drive or bus to coast. Maybe because of Covid there was no condiments at all which if you go for a week stay is slightly inconvenient but understandable! Many thanks and hope to be back.

Fantastic holidays

Lajares is a great option for holidays for those who look for a nice Spanish village with bars & restaurants yet the very easy going life style. It's in the middle of the North Shore so you can reach the both cost within 10 min by car. Actually I would say this is the village to live on Fuerteventura -). The house is prefect for 3-4 people, it's very tidy and have a gorgeous front yard garden with a south sun exposition. The owners are lovely people - we met Lyz who was our host (very easy in contact and if we needed anything she was very open to help us). I strongly recommend the house if you want to spend great vacations for affordable budget. Mikolaj

Maison très agréable !! Proprio très sympa !! Jardin clos transat barbecue .. tout ce qu il faut pour se sentir bien .. Malheureusement le temps n était pas au rendez vous!! Il faisait presque froid et la mer était démontée...

Et oui la météo n’a pas été franchement de la partie pendant votre séjour pluie ,vent violent , (Tempette) accompagné d’une vague de froid nous venant du Nort de l’Europe a été notre cotidien pendant votre semaine de vacances, espérons vous revoir avec le même soleil que nous avons aujourd’hui. Schönes großes Haus für einen erholsamen Urlaub

Wir hatten zu zweit einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub auf Fuerteventura und haben eine Woche in dem Haus gewohnt. Es bietet reichlich Platz, ist in einer ruhigen Lage und ist so wie beschrieben. Mit dem Auto sind es nur wenige Minuten nach Lajares und auch zu Fuß braucht man nur etwas mehr als 15 Minuten zu diversen Restaurants oder zum Bäcker. Die Vermieter Lyz und Gilbert sind wirklich sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Lieben Dank für diese tolle Zeit. Wir haben uns fest vorgenommen nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen!
