Ideally located, Very peaceful, All mod cons, nice, green grass, with sun beds and outdoor shower. Ideal for visiting the nearby park madonie (25km) or the beautiful water park Etnaland (100km) or the wonders of the temples of Agrigento (100km) or the beautiful Palermo (60Km.) All this in about 1 hour drive from the residence . In addition to the children's playground of the residence is open all day. You can also choose between the clean and uncrowded pool with lifeguard service, or the beautiful sea, just 300 mt. For lovers of the game of bowls is available the bowling green.

5 Star facility

Gaetano is a very nice owner. The facility, the pool, the garden, is well maintained. The house is fully and nicely furnished. Also the garden equipment was fully equipped. Beach chairs are available. It was all very clean and in good condition. The next supermarket is not far, 5 minutes. At night it was very quiet, no traffic noise or railroad. We stayed there after the main season, 2 adults, 2 kids 16 and 18. At that time not many guests in the area. Six times we've been to Cefalu. Cefalu ist not far away, about 20min. A rental car is recommended. Totally 5 Stars from us, next year we see us again.

Fantastic relaxed place to be

We stayed 10 days in this house and were very satified. Gaetano is a super host showing a great personal attention care and to his guests! Perfect guidance how to reach the house and, very kindly, a welcome-drink upon arrival. The house is situated in a private and calm (not to big) private resort, with onw parking in front of the door and a briljant super large common swimming pool only for residents at 20 meters walking! Situated at the corner the house has a lovely private garden with sun and shade everywhere, enough chairs and beds and a very wide and cosy covered terrace, including TV and barbecue. You can live outside the whole day and evening. House was clear, good beds and has everything you need. Beach with lovely bar/restaurant on 5 min by car. 2 supermarkets within 10 minutes; Palermo 45 min (Airport 1 hour); Cefalu 20 min. East-coast (Etna, Catania etc 2 hours). So, a very relaxed private place for just staying there or discovering Sicily. Thank you once again Gaetano for your so kind hospitality.

Très belle maison a proximité de la plage

La maison est situé dans un petit quartier privé résidentiel sécurisé par 2 portails automatisés. Une place de parking a proximité de la maison. Tout le jardin est clôturé et a l'abri des regards. La maison correspond à la description et est pratique pour les vacances avec un bel espace extérieur. La plage est à 5 minutes de marche. Astuce N'hésité pas a marché 300 mètres de plus à droite pur vous poser et éviter les cailloux sous l'eau. Et alors vous aurez une belle plage avec une pente douce. Bref je recommande.

Liebenswertes Sizilien

Wir haben einen wundervollen entspannten Urlaub in einem perfekten Haus verlebt. Mit liebevollen Details eingerichtetes Haus (breite sehr gute Matratze, Grösse überdachte Terrasse mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten, Handtücherpäckchen). Haus liegt in einem abgeschlossenem Ferienpark. Supermärkte 2-3 km entfernt, Restaurants in der Nähe am ehesten am Strand erreichbar. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, Bahnlinie in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Steinstrand in der Nähe, Badeschuhe nicht vergessen. Aufmerksamer Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar, hat uns viele Anregungen zu Ausflügen gegeben.

Schön, aber kein Pool und Straßenbaustelle

Das Haus ist gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist ebenfalls schön. Die Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen (Pool und Spielbereich für Kinder) sind aber das Gegenteil: Dieser Gartenteil ist mäßig gepflegt und der Pool ist behördlich seit Juni 2019 geschlossen (wohl bis Sommer 2020). Auf der deutschen Anbieterseite gibt es dazu keinen Hinweis (!) - es wird immer noch auf einen vorhandenen Pool verwiesen (Bilder und Objektbeschreibung). Dass der Vermieter uns auf die italienische Internetseite verwiesen hat, auf der es dazu eine gewisse Einschränkung gibt, ist zwar interessant, aber für Buchende aus Deutschland leider nicht zielführend. Da wir zwei Wasserratten als Kinder haben, die nicht nur ins Meer wollen (das übrigens durch einen Brückeneinsturz leider auch nur über Umwege erreichbar ist), waren wir sehr enttäuscht! Der Vermieter, der anfänglich sehr nett und bemüht gewesen ist und uns auf viele Dinge - auch im Vorfeld - aufmerksam gemacht hat, hat auf diese beiden wesentlichen Punkte aber nur auf Nachfrage hingewiesen. Auf die Enttäuschung unserer Kinder war seine Reaktion, dass ein Vater seinen Kinder klar machen könne, dass es eben nur zum Strand ginge. Außerdem wäre es seiner Ansicht nach ja normal, dass man noch einmal vorab nachfrage, ob in der Objektbeschreibung genannte Punkte auch wirklich da seien und funktionieren. Als Hinweis an alle nachfolgenden Mieter: Bitte dies unbedingt beachten und alles nachfragen!!! P.S.: Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem Objekt abgebrochen.

Great base for visiting Sicily with some caveats

We (family of 4, with 7 and 9 yo girls) had a great time at Gaetano's property, were most of the other residents in the complex were Italian. Check-in could have been easier if a bank transfer had been acceptable as payment, though cash on arrival was not too much of a hassle (initial listing seemed to suggest that electronic payments would be acceptable, but this was only for the deposit). Some other caveats: On arrival we had to sign a contract which made it clear that as the pool was managed by an eternal company, Gaetano could not guarantee usage of the pool during our stay, which would have been very disappointing for the kids. As it turned out, it was all fine, and we were able to use the pool, (swimming hats obligatory, closed for a 2 hour lunch break each day) but the kids playground was closed during our stay. The internet stopped working as it ran out of credit for the last 5 days of our stay, which forced the kids to entertain themselves. Speaking of entertainment, our Italian neighbours seemed to enjoy their evenings doing karaoke till around 23:00, which did not bother the kids, but would not classify the property as particularly peaceful and quiet. Finally, even though the property is close to the beach (mixed pebbles and sand), it was not as easy to walk there as the map suggests, as the nearby bridge that crosses the torrente Roccella stream next to the swimming pool no longer exists (i.e. there is no direct way to get to the Castello di Roccella on foot; by car it's easy). Having said this, Gaetano was a friendly, accommodating host, and we had a lovely time as a family with evening barbecues in the well maintained, private garden. The property was clean and tidy and we spent most of the time on the lovely veranda. The location on the north coast was ideal for visiting the various sites (Palermo, Etna, Agrigento and Syracusa) on Sicily by car.

Schöne und gepflegte Haushälfte.

Die kleine Doppelhaushälfte liegt in einer schönen und gepflegten Anlage. Der Garten um das Haus ist durch tägliches automatisches Wässern wirklich schön grün und man fühlt sich auf der großen, überdachten Terrasse richtig wohl. Das zweckmäßig eingerichtete Haus ist nahezu mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Haushalt so braucht, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. Die nicht vorhandene Klimaanlage lässt sich durch abendliches Durchlüften auch in der Sommerzeit gut kompensieren. Leider war der Pool der Anlage aufgrund Bauarbeiten nicht nutzbar (anders, als inseriert) und die ursprünglich durchgehende Straße zum Strand ist inzwischen eine Sackgasse, so dass man zu Fuß nur über einen langen Umweg zum Meer kommt. Da wir aber sowieso einen Mietwagen hatten, war das für uns kein großes Problem. Der Vermieter Gaetano Greco ist sehr herzlich und kümmert sich außerordentlich liebevoll um seine Gäste. Er gibt auf Wunsch auch viele Tipps bzgl. Sehenswürdigkeiten, Stränden, Restaurants, Einkaufen, etc. So hat er uns glücklicherweise das zum Zeitpunkt unseres Urlaubes in Palermo stattfindende, jährliche Fest der heiligen Rosalia empfohlen, was wirklich sehr eindrucksvoll war. Zusammengefasst war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem schönen kleinen Haus.

TRES AGREABLE SEJOUR A CAMPOFELICE.

Nous avons passé un agréable sejour à Campofelice di Roccella .Maison très agréable avec un joli jardin. La terrasse ombragée permet de passer des soirées au frais. Lieu calme et proche de Cefalu centre. Bien situé pour visiter le Nord et l'Ouest de la Sicile.

Compact huisje met heerlijke patio en tuin

Een stukje buiten Cefalu gelegen in een vakantiepark nabij zee ligt dit fijne kleine huisje met heerlijke patio. Samen met ons kindje van 1.5 jaar hebben we heerlijk vertoefd. Hij met de al aanwezige duplo wij van de rust, zon en zee. Locatie is een goede uitvalbasis voor Palermo, Cefalu, Castelbuono en andere stadjes in de buurt.

Relaxed stay to discover the north of Sicily

We - two adults and two young kids - had very nice stay during March 2018. The little summer house (2 bedrooms + living kitchen) is located in a small complex and features a private garden, a large patio and a little playground as well. For us it was a very suitable base camp for cycling (-> Bikestation Kalura) and hiking tours in the nearby Madonie parc, for discovering Cefalu (~ 10 kms) and some longer daytrips to Mount Etna, Agriento and Palermo. I addition, Gaetano is a very caring and flexible host so we can clearly recommend the place!

Nice property in good location but busy in August

Gaetano was an excellent host who explained everything carefully when we arrived and even went to buy us bathing caps which are compulsory for the swimming pools. Lovely garden and lots of comfortable outside seating. This is essentially a small holiday resort with a large shared pool which is never busy but is only open in summer months. The beach is just lovely and within easy walking distance. The property itself is in the centre of the resort near the park and pool area though we were disturbed at night well after the curfew time by local teenagers. Gaetano kindly advised the resort management but it didn't improve.There isn't aircon in the house which was mostly OK but we were hot some nights since the temperature outside was very warm. The location was good for visiting Cefalu, Palermo, Segesta, Trapani, Erice etc.

Fijne woning met heerlijke tuin

Twee weken hebben wij met ons gezin verbleven in de woning van Gaetano. Gaetano is een zeer goede gastheer die altijd klaar staat voor de huurders (mobiel). Het interieur van het huis is eenvoudig maar voldoet prima. De slaapkamers zijn netjes en ruim. Het grote pluspunt van de woning vonden wij de tuin met het ruime terras en buitendouche. Het zwembad op het terrein biedt de noodzakelijke verkoeling en het strand is ook nabij. Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad en danken Gaetano voor zijn gastheerschap.

très bon séjour reposant

Hôte sympa, logement très agréable, grande pièce à vivre à l'extérieur, résidence calme à cette époque mais sans piscine (pas pb, on était à la plage tous les jours) Plage très proche et idéale pour petits et grands, avec d'alléchants restaurants et bars de plage.

Nice practical living with nice garden.

This is a very nice house, neatly take care of, with a nice garden, a nice terrace, practical outside shower and nicely organized with kitchen, bathroom, small living room and 2 bedrooms. With warm weather you live mostly outside on the terrace. It is very close to the beach. And 20 min drive from Cefalu, which is really nice! We had a pleasant stay. (small family; 2 adults and a child of 3 years)

vacances en famille

Une belle villa pour des vacances en famille. 4 personnes maxi parce qu'uniquement 2 chambres. Un jardin magnifique et le propriétaire est aux petits soins. Voiture obligatoire parce que rien à proximité à pied. Une très belle piscine. Ambiance conviviale et amicale. N'hésitez pas !
