Holiday home "Al Porto" is a structure located in an enchanting fishing village in Massa Lubrense, in a very quiet, panoramic and familiar context a short distance from the sea and 5 km from Sorrento. It consists of a beautiful 60 sqm apartment with two bathrooms, equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, one with 3 beds (double bed + single bed) and balcony overlooking the private garden, and the other with 2 beds (double bed) and large bright windows and both equipped with all comforts, bed linen and towels, free ADSL Internet, and with private outdoor terrace for exclusive use. The area is ideal for both relaxation and fun for couples or families, as it is also possible to book excursions with departures from the port of Marina della Lobra to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. Unfortunately we do not have private parking. However, it is possible to park in the appropriate paid municipal stalls or in a parking lot in the port area.
Animals are not allowed.
Extra payment: Tourist tax (€ 2.00 per person per day for a maximum of 5 days for people aged 18 to 75)

Great location and place to stay

Massa Lubrense is off the beaten track and great as a result, the apartment is a really good base, simple, no frills and Anna, the host, is very kind and helpful.

Family trip

Wonderful stay in Massa Lubrense with Anna and family! Lots of room for four of us, quiet and comfortable. Easy trips into Sorrento and area every day, then home to rest. Anna provides a lot of travel and local information-enjoy!

Loved our stay

Loved this place for our family of 5. Anna was a perfect host, always available and helpful. The marina was a short walk and had everything, great restaurants, groceries and a place to swim. Felt very comfortable letting my kids (11,14,15) explore on their own. Super friendly community and quiet. Good spot to take day trips from. This was our whole family’s favourite stay on our 2 week Italy vacation. Thanks Anna!!

Great place to get away

The accommodations were comfortable for a family of four, and the view was amazing. Being at the marina made it easy to access a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. There are a couple of great restaurants and a few convenience stores within walking distance. The only challenge we experienced was transportation between Sorrento to Marina Lobra as bus schedules are limited. Anna is a wonderful host and the area is wonderful.

Amazing views

Lovely place to stay, beautiful views close to the marina. Just a little note, if staying here be prepared for all the steps. No matter where you go there are steps. Not a lot of restaurants or shopping in the area. The hosts were amazing.

A pleasant holiday place

This is a perfect place for a family holiday. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. You felt like home. The apartment is very spacious, equipped with lots of stuff( toiletries, herbs, tea, coffee, pots, maps etc) with a beautiful sea view. On the arrival there was a bowl of lemons from the garden and a homemade limoncello waiting for us. The place is located just a short walk from the seashore. We would definitely go there again.

Hidden Gem!

Thank you to Anna and her family, they were wonderful hosts! The location is beautiful, clean and we had a great time. Located in a small picturesque town outside Sorrento. Easy access to the bus and only a 1/2 hour away. Local restaurants 5 min walk overlooking the marina and all of our meals were incredible! If you are looking for nice quiet place outside of the city hustle, you’ve found the right one!

Beautiful place; Beautiful views

We absolutely loved our stay in Massa Lubrense and Al Porto. Anna was an amazing host. She met us when we arrived with a beautiful bowl of lemons and limoncello. She provided us information of the area. The port was beautful with wonderful restaurants all around. It is a quaint town outside of Sorrento and everyone knows everyone. Everyone was so nice. The only concern is getting to the apartment. It is a steep road down with some steep stairs. But once you are there you are transformed in wonderful Italian life with beautiful views.

Quiet Rental

The location of this rental is in a quiet and peaceful area and proved to be a nice change from the crowds of Sorrento and other popular locations on the Amalfi Coast. You can easily catch a bus from Massa Lubrense to Sorrento. However, you do have a fairly significant uphill hike, so it would not be good for those that can’t exert themselves. The apartment is just steps from the harbour where you can catch boat tours to Amalfi, Positano and Capri. The rental itself was as advertised, very clean and comfortable. The host, Anna, was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a more quiet spot to stay.

Perfect small coastal village vibe

If you are looking for comfortable accommodations in an ideal Italian coastal village - this is it! Anna was so helpful and even provided water and homemade limoncello for us. We loved the quaintness of the small village around Marina Lobra. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms are exactly as pictured with a lovely balcony with great sunset views overlooking the marina. Note that it is approximately a 20-30 minute drive from Sorrento, so you either have to hire a taxi or ride the bus. The buses are inexpensive but don’t have storage areas for luggage making it a bit more difficult. However, if you plan to take day trips to Capri, Positano, or Amalfi, there are several excursions daily just walking distance from this rental at the marina. The area also has 3 restaurants with great views of the bay and a small grocery store that also sells bus tickets. Although we did have to climb quite a few stairs with luggage, and it was not as convenient to get to Sorrento as we had hoped, we fell in love with this area and loved being able to walk to the marina and not get on a bus before our excursions. I would highly recommend staying at Al Porto!

Marina della Lobra

Marina della Lobra is a delightful village to spend a few days or longer - much calmer than Positano with its hordes of tourists. Angelo's Bar overlooking the harbour serves great food at reasonable prices. The mixed salad for 7 Euros is very good and enough for 2 people to share. The lasagna is also very good. Liberato Mollo and his daughter were very gracious hosts. The rooms are large and very quiet for sleeping. One bedroom has a very hard bed and the other bedroom has a soft bed. We found that we couldn't sleep on the hard bed so we moved to the soft bed. Both bedrooms have ample closet space. There is a washing machine in the bathroom that can be used but you have to supply your own washing detergent. The patio adjacent to the apartment is very nice and gives a nice view of the water. Our plane into Naples was more than 2 hours late and by the time we picked up our rent car, we didn't arrive at Marina dell Lobro until 3:00 am. However, Mr. Liboratelo was waiting for us in the square in the rain with his umbrella. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Appartement parfait loin des foules

Superbe séjour dans cet appartement confortable et spacieux. Juste pour la terrasse vue mer, vous devriez le louer. Anna vous accueillera bien gentiment dans ce petit village plutôt tranquille mi-juillet, mais avec tous les services accessibles à pied dont 2 restaurants avec vue. La marina tout près nous a permis de limiter les déplacements en voiture. Un coup de coeur, à y retourner en famille! ❤️

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt mit tollen Gastgebern! Die Wohnung war sauber, kühl und alles da was wir brauchten. Vor allem die Terrasse war ein Highlight, in Hinterhof Gärten mit Meerblick! Anfangs haben wir die Wohnung nicht gleich gefunden, da die angegebene Adresse laut Googlemaps ein Stückchen vor der Wohnung ist (nur fußläufig über Treppen erreichbar!). Dank der Beschreibung in der ersten E-Mail von Anna, konnten wir es aber trotzdem gut finden (Fußweg / Treppe ca 50m runter auf der rechten Seite). Danke an Anna und ihre Familie für die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft!

Marina della Lobre, a quiet seaside town on the Amalfi coast

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay, with numerous walking paths through orchards, olives, citrus, even pomegranate trees. The little terrace, shaded by a large umbrella, offered a lovely view of the sea and the Isle of Capri. The apartment was immaculate, and we appreciated the conveniences provided. We had a little difficulty finding the street, which was to the right of the church where we were able to catch the bus to Massa Lubrense.

Great Seaside Location

The apartment is not large but has 2 good sized bedrooms with lots of closet space and 2 bathrooms with showers. The kitchen has a full sized fridge/freezer, 4 burner range and oven. There is a wonderful terrace with a view of the sea which was ideal during cocktail hour. There are several very good restaurants minutes from the apartment. Angelo’s offers good food at very reasonable prices and Angelo, himself is a wonderful man. We ate out each night at the various restaurants and there is a coffee/pastry shop that opens at 8 am. There is a ferry to Capri from Marina Libra, 200 meters from the apartment. Liberato and his daughter Anna were great hosts. Thank you.

Great apartment in a beautiful town and lovely hosts

The apartment was great and the hosts were most kind, welcoming and helpful! We stayed there with 5 people so having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus! The beautiful outside terrace has a beautiful view of the ocean which offers a dreamy start of the day, enjoying a morning coffee or a nice place to have some dinner. The town is lovely and has a few really nice restaurants and Angelo's bar also has a little shop and is worth the visit for a bite and a drink served by the friendly and fun people working there. From Massa Lubrense you can take lovely boat trips or see other great places like Pompei. All in all a great place to visit and we had a lovely town, part in thanks to our lovely hosts and the friendly people in the town. Well worth the visit!

Cute property with pretty view....however..

The property was advertised as having parking, which it did not. Being so far out of town - parking is a must if you arrive with a car and so that was one of the things I checked before I booked it. The owners daughter/son-in-law seemed frustrated when we showed frustration about the lack of parking instead of having any type of remorse for the false advertising. The owner ended up trying his best to give us rides to the available parking in town (several miles away) - but he wasn't always available and this made us feel compromised and we had to creatively find solutions in a country that we don't speak the language. The property was not thoroughly clean when we arrived - the toilets smelled of urine and the refrigerator was dirty. On a good note, the size of the home was nice and having two bathrooms was nice. The view was beautiful and our daughter enjoyed playing with the cats in the yard. The beach was a close walk.

The location of this flat is excellent. We arrived earlier than the check in time, but they were beyond accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay.
