Very peaceful,Completely renovated,Real countryside,Full equipement
In the quiet village Bodešèe near Bled is situated family house, in which we rent 85 squares big apartment. Situated on two floors, on the first floor has a kitchen, a living room and sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, hall and bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs is an air-conditioned bedroom with 4 beds. The apartment is fully equipped (cable TV, wireless internet, fridge, freezer, washing machine, iron, hair dryer) and is suitable for stays of up to 7 people (6+1 beds). Parking is guaranteed. Breakfast in the basket in the fridge, prepared by yourself, is possible. The price is 8 € per person, and is not included in the price.

A few days of heaven

My wife and I decided to get away from it all and chose Marcos cottage to stay each night. We enjoyed our stay as it was just outside of town, no noise, lots of beautiful stars and just peace and quiet. We did all the usual activities, walked the lake, climbed the mountain for the spectacular views. I even got my wife to zip line, she has never done it in her life and she loved it, albeit a little scared at first. The cottage is very neat and tidy. Marko was always responding as our trip changed slightly due to train rides. He offered us great advice and everything was as he said it would be.

Great location

The host is so nice! Great location! The only issue was that we were not aware (was not in listing) of the Tourist Tax. That should be included in the listing so that other visitors staying at this location will not be shocked by this like we were.

Near Bled

Compact but has all you need. In spite of feeling way out in the countryside, it is a really quick drive into Bled. One note: the steps up to the attic bedroom are circular and narrow. Our agile adult daughter had to be really careful. Those beds are probably best used by older children.

It was just right for a relaxing few days

The access to a full kitchen and the thoughtful starts were great. The space is small but perfect with the upstairs! The area is so beautiful! Marko was a great host!

Radfahren in Bled

Alles war wie beschrieben. Marko der Hausherr war sehr hilfbereit und kennt sich sehr gut in der Gegend aus. Die Unterkunfz ist nur bedingt für 7 Personen geeignet.

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Tipps unseres Gastgebers führten uns zu guten Lokalen, sehenswerten Wanderungen und Naturschönheiten. Wir haben die ruhige, naturnahe Umgebung genossen und konnten auch schnell in Bled sein, mit dem Auto und auch zu Fuß. Wir haben das Schokoladenfestival in Radovljica erlebt. Tipp: In diesem Städtchen unbedingt um 12 Uhr das Glockenspiel der Kirchturmuhr hören! In der Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, auch TV mit deutschen Programmen, gute Betten, Küche. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten ausreichend Platz.

Slowenien von der Besten Seite

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Unsere Ferienwohnung ist in einem kleinen Dorf gewesen und war super. Es war alles vorhanden und der Vermieter total gastfreundlich. In den 10 Tagen haben wir an jedem Tag etwas unternommen und waren auch in Planica zum Skifliegen. Sensationell !!! Ich denke, dass wir uns in dieses Land verliebt haben und auf jeden Fall wieder nach Slowenien fahren werden.

Country Living Close to the Resort City of Bled

Marko met us at the apartment with very informative information on Bled and the surrounding area. The apartment is in the country with beautiful views in all directions. We were there in late October and the leaves on the trees were putting on a display in full color. We don't like crowds so we took a walk around Lake Bled at sunrise - absolutely beautiful and few people. Had breakfast, rested then went to Vintar Gorge where the river cuts an impressive path through the steep walls of the Radovna Valley (1.5 hours round trip or more with pictures). Rain stopped us from going to Lake Bohinj the next day but we made a short trip to visit the old city of Radovljca for a fantastic panorama and interesting museum on bee keeping - of all things. We came into Bled through the Soca valley and Vrsic Pass which are also a must see if you make the time. If you want to see a lot of the best of Slovenia, this is the place to do it.

Excellent, could not expect more, highly recommended

I could not recommend this apartment more highly. Marko was excellent with communication. He was friendly and helpful. The apartment truly felt like home, with everything we needed and was well stocked. Only wish we were there longer.

Comfortable & quiet flat outside Bled, Slovenia

Our 4-day stay in this apartment outside of Bled was really enjoyable. The host was excellent - he was very communicative & helpful before arrival, greeted us in person, and walked us through everything we needed to know about the flat & the surrounding area (and also provided nice extras to facilitate eating at home). Beds & linens were great, kitchen fully-equipped, bath with walk-in shower quite spacious. The proximity to Bled was convenient for exploring a true beauty site: the castle & lake walking path are stunning. But great hiking & biking trails also abound just out the apartment door. There was plenty of shopping opportunities in Bled, and Lubjlanja was only about a half-hour away.

Excellent accommodations and Host

We arrived at Apartma Valant in the rain after spending the day driving over the mountains. It was almost dark and our host, Marko, greeted us with a big smile, helped us bring in our luggage and after showing us around, offered to bring us some basics so we could prepare a meal and not have to leave and go back out. He was so kind. The apartment is located in a lovely rural setting, close, but not in the middle of the tourist activity in Bled. It is fully stocked with all the amenities you need. Very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a washing machine and drying rack. This is the best accommodations we have had so far. Would highly recommend Marko’s Apartma Valant.

L'appartamento si trova a Bodesce, nelle vicinanze di Bled a solo pochi minuti d'auto. Si trova immerso nel verde, con silenzio e tranquillità quasi irreali ! L'abitazione è accogliente ed ottimamente fornita di tutto ciò che serve per un ottimale soggiorno, chi ama la bici e camminare troverà in questi posti incantati cio' che desidera !

Location, location, location!

We just spent 3 nights in this lovely country home. Rural area (cows, farmers) but a short 5 minute drive to Bled. The kitchen was well equipped including a "normal" size refrigerator! Washing machine and solar dryer were much appreciated. There's a bakery on the corner of the main road to Bled (girls were friendly, and even took the time to prepare a salad for us) and a Mercato across the street.. Now about the owner. Marko was a dream to work with! He was quick to respond to all inquiries and helpful with information about the area. His wife, Natasha and his daughter, Ida were delightful. They made us feel like family! We could't have picked a better home! Thank you family Valant!

What a lovely stay we had

We only can recommend to stay at that place highly. The owner is a superfriendly and very helpful guy!! Again big thanks and keep it up. The family home itself was very tidy and we had everything we needed to and so we had wonderful 2 weeks and I'm pretty sure we'll be back at somepoint!
