The condo was great. We were able to walk to all the major tourist attractions and to the metro. We did not try the bus. The condo was well equipped and had all the things that we needed. The grocery across the street and the many ATM’s were invaluable. The views from the roof were amazing.

The apartment was in a great location and was clean, safe and very comfortable. We stayed there with two families and used all 4 bedrooms. We really enjoyed the location of the apartment, close to shops, restaurants and at walking distance to the city center. The roof terrace has an awesome view of the Acropolis.

Amazing Athens Vacation

This was an amazing place for our family to stay during our vacation to Athens. It was located in a nice neighborhood within easy access to the Acropolis and other great spots. Rooftop patio view was incredible. The property owners ended up being extremely welcoming and helpful, offering ideas and setting up several excursions for us.

Awesome Athens

Absolutely a fabulous property in the heart of Athens. Treated like relatives upon arrival and so very well looked after throughout! First rate accommodations. Super market and bakery/coffee shop across the street.

Ideal for families and larger groups.30 minute walk to popular sites. Shopping very convenient nearby,restaurants, taxi stand,ATMs etc.local representative very friendly and accommodating.we did have issues with the elevator but maintenance came in reasonable time.we preferred to make our own transportation arrangements.Wea very clean and comfortable.geat roof top views of the accropolis

Your perfect choice for a stay in Athens

Week in Athens

The property was amazing- it exceeded our expectations in all ways. Very clean, we had everything we needed and even a welcome basket with goodies. The company arranged airport transfers for our group and also amazing private tours in Athens and other locations in Greece. Everything was flawless. The neighborhood where the apartment is located is very local and filled with cafes, restaurants, shops, pharmacies and supermarkets. We had everything a few steps away. I highly recommend this property

Athens stay

This apartment is fabulous as are the folks that rent it. Great location with amazing view of acropolis from the rooftop patio. The rest of the building is businesses so we had the patio to ourselves. Apartment is spacious and clean and exactly as advertised. Carole and her team were great to work with throughout. Very communicative and helpful. Danai met us outside the apartment so we had no trouble getting in and explained everything and provided many tips as well. Book this one!

Excellent location & easy access by walking and Taxi

We loved this property and the location. We were able to walk to grocery stores, restaurants, fast food restaurants, shops, bakery shops, etc. Yhis property has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with Kitchen and living room. Balcony and the Terrace are great area to hangout with family and friends. I loved the Massage place one floor below of our apartment. A pasta place next to apartment has excellent place for the lunch or dinner. All the facilities in the apartment are great. I would highly recommend this place for family and friends. A host that managed this property was very helpful. Most of the things about them was that they had a document with all the information. We would definitely stay in this place. Great neighborhood.

Wonderful apartment in Athens

The apartment was perfect for our party of eight. The rooms all had private bathrooms, the kitchen was fully equipped and we had our own private balcony along with a roof top balcony with views of the Acropolis. Carole and her team were wonderful. They made transport reservations and set up a private tour to Delphi, a food tour and a wonderful docent at the Acropolis museum. In addition, my son has severe food allergies and Carole was wonderful to help have his food allergies translated into Greek. Thank you, Carole and team for a wonderful vacation. It could not have been better!

Best service in Greece

This experience was amazing. The staff took care of every little thing. They had such attention to detail. If I was still in business I would try to hire the entire staff. From booking to leaving there was never an issue. And the guide they had for the Acropolis was the best most informative guide we have ever had. One of our friends did not get her luggage from the airport. Carol used her knowledge and got the luggage. Just the best experience. Highly recommend this company and this apartment.

2 night stay

We were a party of 11 that booked the Acropolis Blue for two nights before we set off on a 10 day cruise. The house was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. It was exactly as pictured on the website. The owners took care of everything. They were also able to arrange transfers from the airport to the house and then from the house to the port. We were able to take advantage of one of the tours that they offered. We took the Acropolis tour. The guide was amazing. There were grocery stores, coffee, shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of the house. I 100% recommend this house. As a sidenote, we did not need to use our European adaptors at all. They had American plugs in addition to the European ones already in the house.

Athens like a Local!!

I can’t say enough about what an amazing experience this was. From the moment I reserved Acropolis Blue, Carol and her team were amazing. The information and guidance they provided was invaluable. I left the states with a wonderful itinerary and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we were greeted at the airport by Dimitri until Nick dropped us at the ferry we felt like we were part of the family. Danai greeting us at the apartment was a treat and she was so incredibly helpful throughout the trip. The apartment was extremely nice and comfortable and we loved being in a local neighborhood not surrounded by tourists. All of the excursions were wonderful as well as the food recommendations. I could go on and on but suffice it to say you can go wrong with Carol and her team.

Large apartment in good area

We spent 5 nights at this unit in June. The 6 of us had plenty of room. The area right outside the unit looked a little unattractive although it is supposed to be in a safe & attractive part of Athens. Maybe after some construction gets done it will look better but didn't interfere with our use of the apartment. Carole had a large info package (50+ pages) to help navigate the apartment & area. What we really appreciated is Carole's willingness to arrange transportation to/from the apartment & other leisure tours etc if wanted. We had her arrange a 'Foodie Tour' for us with the apartment manager, Nadia, conducting the tour. We all had a great time!

Perfect Vacation Rental

Where to start?! It should be with the host and the fantastic team working with Real Greece. Carol and Basil reached out immediately after booking and began to organize what was an incredible stay in Athens. I had no idea when I booked the apartment that our group would then have the Team of Real Greece help plan our visit. To review the condo - it is perfect. The location and layout worked great for our group of six adults. We had plenty of space, and each room had an ensuite, precisely as pictured online. Even better! Danai greeted us, and before we arrived, she set up a group Whats App so we constantly communicated with her, the tour guides they arranged, and the transfers. She showed us around the apartment and had a beautiful basket of local treats. I cannot recommend this apartment enough. It was our first time in Greece, and hopefully not our last!

Fantastic and incredible condo/apartment

Acropolis Blue, in Pangrati, Athens was the most fantastic experience I have had with a VRBO property. It was so much better than I could have imagined. Everything you would need was provided for you. The 4 bedroom, 4 bathrooms was perfect for our party of 5. All was in working order and we needed nothing else. The location was the best! Every bakery and restaurant was within walking distance and we never needed a taxi to take us anywhere. I loved the energy of the neighborhood, just a short walk from the main area of Athens. We were within walking distance to the Acropolis and the Plaka. The terrace balcony, with a view of the acropolis, was what sold me on Acropolis Blue and it did not disappoint. I really can't say enough positive comments about Acropolis Blue. Something that made this also the perfect place was Carole, Basil, Danai, and Niklos at Greek Vacation rentals. I have never had such personal attention before!

All it was hyped to be and MORE

Fantastic property that fit our family of 10 perfectly for our Athens stay. Had all we needed plus the added benefit of a washer AND dryer as well as a plumbing system that we could flush paper. (This can not be understated what a huge plus this is for those used to doing it and not being able to!) Added to the perfection of the unit, the owner, Carole is American and also coordinates travel, tours, drivers, etc. I HIGHLY recommend asking her for help! She even coordinated tours & excursions for us while we were on an island for a week. The things she came up with, we would NEVER have found on our own. Back to the unit - such a value for the price. A/Cs in each room, great views on the roof, well located to everything. There's a fantastic restaurant right across the street, two bakeries, and loads of things to do within walking distance. Taxis are fairly easy to come by, but you can easily walk to the plaka in about 30 min. Highly recommend.

Great property and management team

In May, 2023, my wife and I traveled to Greece with our four adult children, son-in-law and daughter-in-law. We stayed in Athens a few days before heading to Santorini. Fortunately, we chose Acropolis Blue for our stay in Athens. The apartment was incredibly comfortable for the eight of us. It was well furnished and the kitchen well-equipped. The porch and the rooftop made great sitting areas for an evening wine or coffee in the morning. The neighborhood is safe and full of coffee shops, markets, and restaurants. It is a 25-minute walk to the Acropolis. As important as the apartment itself, the team at Real Greece made for incredibly enjoyable few days in Athens. They helped arrange dinners and transportation for the eight of us. They even arranged a wonderful private tour of the Acropolis. Every driver, Real-Greece team member, and tour guide were friendly, knowledgeable, and truly hospitable. Whether you are an experienced Greek traveler or a first-timer to Athens, the Acropolis Blue property and the Real Greece team can provide the foundation for a really wonderful experience.

Loved it

Clean and uncluttered. Plenty of space. A much-appreciated basket of snacks were awaiting us upon arrival. The kitchen has all the appliances one could want, and plenty of nice dishes, pots and pans, etc. (It doesn't feel as if the owners were trying to outfit the apartment as minimally as possible.) Comfy beds. Lovely terrace. Nice to have the opportunity to do our laundry. Quiet as well, as most of the building houses offices, not apartments. The owners were great about responding to questions and providing us with plenty of info -- and all the guidebooks were a very thoughtful addition. One caveat and a small suggestion. Suggestion: provide a simple translation or "graphic" for the washing machine and dryer. Our "welcoming person" DID explain it, but most of it was forgotten in the midst of arrival and a lot of additional information being offered. The German labelling did not give many hints about all the options on the dial! The caveat is location. The apartment is in a "regular" neighborhood on a central street. So if you are wanting the convenience of being near the tourist-y neighborhoods and sites, this may not be your place. The neighborhood is fine -- perfectly safe -- and has a grocery store across the street (and also shoe stores and a bakery and banks and insurance companies and mysterious other things). But it is a schlep to get to the museums and archeological sites and more interesting areas (about 30 minute walk). Not close to Metro (which, by the way, is a great system). And we did not decipher the bus system, except for one ride. Plenty of taxis, though (but be prepared: while most Greek people seemed to speak/understand plenty of English, and even my minimal bad Greek, the taxi drivers almost universally did not). (Also, the photo o the night-lit Parthenon must have been taken through a telescope.) LOVED the rooftop terrace! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Jennifer Thanks for your comments and for the reminder about the washer/dryer translation (new machine, translation is on the to do list!) Though we are about 1 km / 6/10 mile (or 5 blocks in Chicago terms) from the Evangelismo metro, most guests who don't want to walk just cross the street and hop on one of the 3 trolleys that stop in front heading 4 or 5 stops to the Plaka and Syntagma Square. Basil and I are happy you enjoyed the neighborhood and hope that when you are ready to return to Greece we'll be able to help you plan another wonderful journey.

Fabulous Stay

This was our first stay at an international VRBO location and it was great!! Carole and Basil were excellent in their communication with us before, during and after our stay. We had 2 adults and 6 kids and the bedroom layouts were great for all. The property is located in the heart of a local neighborhood, so it was so much fun to walk around and people watch, get baked goods and coffees and go to local restaurants. Our sons loved the fresh souvlaki from across the street at the restaurant Carole will recommend to you (the one with the red and white awning); we also really liked Ciao Ciao (Italian) and Mavro Private of Press Cafe was excellent. Danai was so friendly when she showed us around the apartment when we first got there, and she was very responsive to any and all questions during the week. We loved our driver, Nick. He was excellent. We did take 4 tours coordinated by Carol and Basil (Acropolis, a food tour, Argolis and Cape Sounion). We liked them all but the food tour with Vivian was the best! She was so much fun and the kids loved trying all of the different foods. The rooftop patio of the apartment was the crowning touch. Definitely stay here when you are in Athens and spend more than just a day or two exploring Athens!

Amazing view away from the crowds

The apartment was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had their own bed, each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was plenty of space. Nicely equipped, clean, and the A/C worked great! We loved spending our mornings on the patio and our evenings out on the rooftop deck. There was plenty of places to eat close by. The only negative was that it was almost a 30 minute walk to the Plaka and major sites. But we didn’t mind the exercise! We would definitely come back!

Greece done right!

If you want to visit Athens and do it right, this is the place to stay and Carole and her team are the best hosts for a great time. Her team was always checking that our tours, transfers and dinner reservations were going well. They even went so far to order WOLT (uber eats equivalent) for our kids one night that they wanted pizza and did not wanted to go out. In summary they made Athens great. If you book with her try to get AVE as your tour guide, he was awesome too and is part of her team
