Hear the San Miguel River from your window in this is a quaint and serene lodge in Telluride!

Bedding: California king bed

To access the Manitou Lodge, guests cross the footbridge located at the end of S. Fir Street. This hotel room is located on the ground floor of the lodge, closest to the front door. The room features a California king bed, a flatscreen TV, Roku, mini-fridge and a small lounge area. The private bathroom has a small pedestal sink and a step-in shower with a glass enclosure.

Every room at the Manitou Lodge has a mini-fridge, coffee maker, starter coffee, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and robes. There is no A/C at this property.

The Manitou Lodge has designated ski lockers, common kitchen and TV room, and a deck facing the river. The lodge is conveniently located right in Telluride by the San Miguel River, just two short blocks to Lift 8 and the free gondola, Main Street and Town Park.

This property can accommodate one vehicle for street parking. Parking is located in the diagonal spaces by the footbridge or around the surrounding streets. Please note - the dirt parking lot is a private lot. Manitou guests are not able to park here. If utilizing the street parking permit, please ensure you have registered your vehicle with our Guest Services team to avoid ticketing/towing. Please read and follow all posted parking signs; Alpine Lodging is not responsible for ticketing/towing.

The Manitou Lodge is NOT a pet-friendly property and no exceptions will be made.

Great location

The location was fantastic! Really close to chair 8 & all the restaurants. The space was comfortable for a quick couples trip & the free breakfast had had several options.

Perfect for 2

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was a short walk away, including the gondola and ski lift. Loved Telluride and our stay at the Manitou Lodge.

An excellent location...

We loved sleeping with an open window and hearing the San Miguel babbling near our room. We were greeted with open arms by the staff and given answers to our question with clarity. will most definitely plan on staying again.

Serves its purpose

Very city and nice being right by the peaceful water and close to town. The shared kitchen space was a great addition. The unit was a bitLoud though right by the external walkway.

Wonderful location but noisy

The location is absolutely wonderful! We were there during the spring/summer so I can’t say much about the location for skiing but for hanging around the beautiful town of Telluride, it’s perfect! My only complaint is how noisy everything is. The walls must be paper thin because we could hear everything outside and around our unit. We were awoken by the people above us every morning which was obnoxious. Other than that, we loved it!

Pres. Weekend 2022 disaster

The VRBO add advertised a kitchen. No kitchen. The Manitou was populated by young Frat Boys partying. We’re mid 60’s. Been there done that. We didn’t even unload our bags. You could smell beer 100 feet away from our front door. No other options that evening to lodge. We drove to my sons home in Grand Junction. We’d like and appreciate a full refund.

Nice location on the river

Went to Telluride for an event downtown- location made it easy to walk to everything in town. Parking was a little tight as you have to find a spot on the street in a certain zone. Room was adequate- cleaning crew missed the contents in the fridge and fan would have been nice. Otherwise would stay there again as it is affordable for Telluride.

Good, but not ideal

Property was nice enough. Walls are thin. Location is just about ideal if you're not staying at a ski in/out place. Price was ok. Parking arrangement was very suboptimal. Online registration process was an unnecessary hassle. Overall...decent but I'd be unlikely to stay there again...mostly due to parking inconvenience.

Nice location to easily explore Telluride

This place was in a great location. It is in very close proximity to downtown Telluride. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants on the Main Street. The only downsides to this property were parking and noise. There are not many spots available near the property to park. Also, you can hear everything that happens in the building and outside the building. Other than that, this was a great spot to stay!

In a unit by the river

Unit was well appointed. Bed was large and comfy. Location to town and gondola to mountain village was great. Only challenge was the unit was on the first floor at main entrance. You not only heard every guest come and go, but you could clearly hear all the hikers and bikers on the river trail, and the flowing river. For noise sensitive folks, request a different unit.

Super close to town, walking distance from hiking trails, gondola. Smaller room but perfect size for a couple looking for a solid rate in an amazing town! Highly recommend

Great location

The property is in a beautiful and convenient location being ski in/ski out right at the base of the mountain. Parking was super easy. The room was also very clean. We had a great ski trip and will most likely return next year.

Creekside Comfort

I was looking for the cheapest stay in Telluride so I booked this place. Decided it must also be the best. Right by the creek it felt private but was within blocks of everywhere we wanted to be. Clean, friendly, the works!

Very pleasant

We really enjoyed Manitou Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable and only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very enjoyable.
