Clean, Spacious Suite in Prime Riverside Location

As the only suite in Manitou Lodge, this is a truly unique room with room for up to four people.

Bedding: King bed and a twin day bed with a trundle

To access the Manitou Lodge, guests cross the footbridge located at the end of S. Fir Street. This room is located on the first floor of the Manitou Lodge near the rear of the building.

Upon entering the suite, guests walk down a hallway, which features a kitchenette, before reaching the main living space. The kitchenette, which has views of the mountainside, has a two-burner stovetop, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a sink. There is a small dining table with seating for four adjacent to the kitchenette.

The main bedroom has a California king bed, flatscreen TV with Roku and DVD player and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a step-in shower/jetted tub combination and a small pedestal sink. There is a connecting private room that has a twin day bed and a trundle, flatscreen TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Every room at the Manitou Lodge has a mini-fridge, coffee maker, starter coffee, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and robes. There is no A/C at this property.

The Manitou Lodge has designated ski lockers, common kitchen and TV room, and a deck facing the river. The lodge is conveniently located right in Telluride by the San Miguel River, just two short blocks to Lift 8 and the free gondola, Main Street and Town Park.

This property can accommodate one vehicle for street parking. Parking is located in the diagonal spaces by the footbridge or around the surrounding streets. Please note - the dirt parking lot is a private lot. Manitou guests are not able to park here. If utilizing the street parking permit, please ensure you have registered your vehicle with our Guest Services team to avoid ticketing/towing. Please read and follow all posted parking signs; Alpine Lodging is not responsible for ticketing/towing.

Close to downtown and the gondola. Great location!Wifi was also very strong and steady. Breakfast room was very welcoming and well stocked.Bed was quite firm yet quite comfortable. It's not the Fairmont, but it had everything we needed for a quick trip to Telluride.

Amazing room for the price!

Great room with the river running right outside our window. A very short and easy walk to the gondola. Easy access to parking and to the shops in Telluride. I would stay here any time of year!

Telluride has few real properties that deliver value at the lower end of the cost scale. Manitou Lodge breaks the mold. While you won't get the luxury that abounds in Telluride, you will get clean accommodations, reasonably priced, located close to the action. The only real downside is that parking can be challenging and you'll have to drag your luggage a ways. Surprise upside: light breakfast goodies and happy hour treats made fresh daily.

Manitou Lodge is well-situated for exploring Telluride and the nearby area. Most anything is within walking distanceā€”trailheads, shops, restaurants, festival sites, gondola. Thatā€™s helpful because parking in Telluride is quite scarce and the lodge does not have designated parking, just a pass that allows you to park in available slots in a several block area. We parked the car once and left it until we were ready to leave. Accommodations are nice. This unit has a kitchenette, so you can fix meals if you wish, a help in expensive Telluride. A light continental breakfast is provided. As the unit is next to the patio and hot tub, noisy guests can be an issue, though the lodge does post quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am. One complaint-no Wi-Fi reception in the smaller back bedroom. Overall, no big complaints.

Great location but thatā€™s it.

This unit is in a great location of Telluride for skiing & other activities. The unit itself, is not a repeat. While the pictures look bright & rustic, in actuality it is dark and inefficiently furnished. One dresser serves room with twin bed. No place to put clothes for people in king bed. Thermostat has no control over room temp. It was set to 68 degrees, but fluctuated between 70-73 degrees. Poor temp control. Common roomā€™s kitchen shared wall with king bed headboard. Every time someone slammed kitchen drawer or ran dishwasher, noise was right by your head. We had child with us; having Roku for tv is unacceptable. I travel more than 100 days a year. Satellite or cable tv is a minimum standard everywhere in the world. Kitchen is almost totally unusable with bar sink. We will not rent here again.

4 night Telluride stay

Really enjoyed staying at Manitou Lodge - great location in town and cozy setting on the river. My unit was exactly as described, smallish rooms but not a problem because of the common areas inside (kitchen and sitting room) and nice deck outside. I would definitely stay here again for the location, nice setting and value of accommodations.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here at end of season. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Amenities met our basic needs... sizeable, clean bathroom, fairly comfortable bed, nice view of creek and mountain, easy walk to town and Telluride Station (under 10 mins). Fair quality for price.
