Just across the day-skier parking lot from the base of the Coonskin Lift (#7), this room still has all the convenience of being right in Telluride.

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).

A recent remodel, this hotel room at the Mountainside Inn has a queen bed and pull-out twin loveseat. There is a kitchenette (two-burner cooktop, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dishes and pans) and table for two. The room also has a flat-screen TV with Direct TV, wifi, humidifier, fan, and blow-dryer. The bathroom has a shower (no tub) and a separate toilet/WC. This is a second-floor room.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

This room is NOT pet-friendly and any unregistered dog will incur a substantial fee. Please select a dog-friendly room if you plan on bringing a pet.

The property is on the west side of town by the river. Itā€™s a short walk to everything, which is great. The room is comfortable with all you need for a long weekend in Telluride. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Fall in Telluride

We had the most amazing 3 days in Telluride! The views were stunning, the weather beautiful and our room at Mountainside Inn was clean, comfortable, convenient and everything we expected and more. Everything around town was a short walk from our room and it had all we needed to stop in quick for a bite and head back out to see the sights. Would definitely stay here again.

Quaint, clean efficiency in a fantastic location. Room was nicely organized, with a spacious bathroom and great water pressure. River walk is around the corner and the gondolas are within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Telluride Mushroom Festival

Liked our updated unit and the kitchenette. The Carhenge lot was right behind the property and made parking much easier when the Mountainside Inn lot was full. No A/C, but that was noted when we booked and we didn't need it with the fan in the summer (it's cooler in the mountains anyway.) Staff was present and friendly. A nice less-frills lodging spot in Telluride that had perfect location - right off the walking trail, close to the gondola, and everything in town. We were in town vending for Telluride Mushroom Festival, kept much of our merchandise in the room, and it was very secure (in fact, we accidentally locked ourselves OUT...the security lock somehow swung out when we closed the door and we couldn't get back in initially, but they had a handy tool that we grabbed to push the security latch back.) Our view from the room faced into the middle of the lot, but there were other units that faced out to the river or trees.

Horrible quality and cleanliness

First and foremost, you can tell that the property is underwater and in need of additional staff. This unfortunately does not justify what we experienced. Our sheets were not changed between guests and when we requested additional bedding it took multiple phone call, they couldnā€™t find another mattress pad and the first sheets that were delivered would not fit the bed. All in all, we were extremely disappointed especially considering the amount of money was spent to come to Telluride.

Great location for a mountain vacation

This was a great spot! Well maintained property is perfect for a couple and is in a fantastic location along a beautiful creek and trail. Walking distance to everything in downtown Telluride, including the gondola to Mountain Village, and multiple hiking trails. Parking is available on the property. We would absolutely stay here again!
