This recently constructed 650 square foot above garage loft replaced the old carriage house that was built in 1888. It sits off street behind our 2 story brick victorian residence. We welcome you to this historic neighborhood. It is an amazing location within walking distance of downtown, restaurants, bike path, trails, library, Powerhouse Childrens Museum, and other amenities. If you choose to walk to downtown the swinging bridge over the beautiful Animas River is only three blocks away offering easy access to all the restaurants and shopping that Durango has to offer.

A relaxing place to stay with a private deck overlooking a forested hill and a garden water feature. This home has vaulted ceilings and a modern kitchen with stainless appliances, fully stocked and all the extra things you might need to cook in house.

The spacious bedroom has a new king size bed with fine linens and down comforter. The bathroom is luxurious with a carrera marble counter top, 18 inch tile floor and Subway tiled shower. It is accessorized with quality towels, soaps, and a hair dryer.

The living room is equipped with a double sized futon couch, flat screen television, DVD player, 2 leather swivel chairs, and a library complete with games. We also provide Wifi access.

The dining area seats up to six and can be used for dinners on those nights you want to stay in.
