Beautiful home:good location
This is a beautiful property! It offered more than enough room and private sleeping space for our group of seven adults and two children.
The home is contemporary and in a lovely gated golf community. There was a small playground near the house for the children, and the pool at the house was great.
Something to note for US travelers, Chilean homes, much like European homes, seem to generally not include a dishwasher, as is the case in this large home. Also, you are likely not to find a toaster or a coffee maker. The Chilean instant coffee is really quite good and a hot water pot is available. Also, there is no AC, but several fans are provided.
Our only concern upon arrival was that the pool surround and patio areas were covered in bird poo. Using the patio was not much of a problem, but since we were told it would be two days before they were to be cleaned, I personally got down at the pool entrance and surround to scrape and then sweep the bird poo off so my little grandsons could use the pool right away. If you rent this property, be sure and ask that that be done before your arrival. I’m sure Helen, the owner, would be happy to accommodate your request. Other than that, I highly recommend this beautiful property.
