Exclusive Cape Marco community with southern exposure and private beach! With a perfect, unobstructed ocean view and quick access to the beach or fishing pier, this is the best on Marco Island! This spectacular 10th floor unit is perfect for watching boat traffic, parasailing, fishing, and wild life (rays, dolphins, and manatees!) from the privacy of your own balcony. With a southwest exposure, you are sure to have plenty of warmth on the balcony in the evenings. Beautiful sunsets happen daily!

This is a 2 bedroom condo with a King size bed in the master and a queen in the guest room. There is also a den that has 2 twin beds (one is a trundle), so it sleeps up to 6 people! No running out to do laundry because a washer and dryer are right in the unit. Balcony access from living room and master bedroom.

Recent renovations include: full kitchen update fall 2017 and complete bathroom renovations summer 2015, all new baseboards, crown molding, carpet, living room/dining furniture, new smart TV in living room, CD player/Bluetooth/Tuner stereo, stainless steel refrigerator, window treatments/vertical blinds, and all walls have been repainted.

Enjoy the fitness center that includes a cardio room and weight room. Locker rooms, with saunas, are located in the fitness center. Tired of being crowded on the beach? No worries here, because the private beach is for Cape Marco residents only and is much quieter than further north on the beach. We also have a private, heated pool that is often very quiet, with only a few people there at a time. If you are not a water person, you can enjoy the clay tennis courts located on site or fish from the private fishing pier.

Security is taken seriously here, with the guard gate manned 24 hours a day. Basic cable (3 rooms), phone (free long distance), wifi, and designated space in parking garage included.

Owner withheld the most important information.

We are very familiar with Marco Island, having rented Condos on the island for the past few decades. The owner neglected to advise us that during the month of October the outside of the building, facing the ocean, was under renovation. Merida's management advised us that all owners were given numerous FYI's that this renovation would be under way and ongoing until completed. They assured us that this owner should be well aware of the situation. Upon arrival, we were greeted with lanai furniture in the living room. The first rental day, workers were on the lanai covering the sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom with opaque plastic. We could not see or go outside for six days nor could we use the living room. We made the owner aware daily of the situation. At some point she offered a refund of $500.00. At that point, we did not feel that sum was a fair amount. Week number two, the plastic was removed but workers were on our lanai weekdays beginning at 8:00 AM to 4:00/4:30 PM. This lasted the duration of our stay (we were there 30 days). Daily, we sent the owner texts and pictures of the workers on the lanai. At some point, she (Kimberly) told us to vacate and she would refund the money for the the balance of the stay. We declined because finding another rental at Cape Marco was going to be impossible based on the 30 day minimum stay requirements (at this point we had roughly three weeks left of our rental vacation). Also, we were not advised that during this month owners can remodel their units. So, between the outside painters sanding the building and the next door units being renovated, which included tile cutting equipment on their lanai, noise and dust were a constant issue. VRBO was contacted about this issue. They told us that they contacted the owner and advised the her to contact us to find a resolution. At this time we have not heard from the owner. We have been waiting for 17 days. We have received the security deposit refund and no other communication from the owner. The best part of our Marco vacations is sitting on the lanai and looking at the ocean. Weekdays, (20 days) we could not sit outside or have ANY privacy because of workers looking in at us. The workers had access to the lanais via suspended platforms. Our experience with this owner has ruined our vacation.

First time on Marco Island

The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! We got to enjoy dolphin watching every time we sat outside, which was a lot. Enjoyed coffee in morning and wine in evening. We all loved the balcony! The condo was beautiful. Clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The grounds at the complex were immaculate. We used the workout room and pool frequently. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. We will most definitely visit again. It was a perfect getaway!

First Time on Marco

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need (extremely thankful for the beach wagon/chairs.....came in VERY handy)! The view was incredible. While looking out from the balcony/lanai, it's as if you were floating right on the ocean. One of our favorite things to do was to sit out on the balcony in the morning and in the evening. Lots of dolphin activity to watch! We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beach and the pool.

Love the View at Cape Marco

We loved our stay at Cape Marco on Marco Island. It was a peaceful and relaxing week and the weather was perfect! The view from the balcony was amazing and the condo had everything we needed for the beach. We also used the pool and the fitness center. We look forward to coming back to Marco Island next year!

Cape Marco Condo

This was our first extended trip to Marco Island and we couldn't have picked a better place. The condo was in a perfect location - overlooking the gulf w/a sizeable balcony. The layout and the condition of the condo was perfect - we would definitely rent there again and strongly recommend it to others. You also can't beat the weather on Marco Island - always lovely!!

First trip to Marco Island

This was my first trip to Marco Island and I have to say, the condo experience was superb. It was very clean, nicely furnished and spacious. My favorite part was the amazing view! Watching the sun set from the balcony was one of the best parts of the trip. I even saw several types of fish and marine life. The condo was very accommodating and I really felt that they had thought of everything one would need for a great vacation experience. Can't wait to go back and stay here again!

Stayed at this condo during Christmas 2014

Stayed at this condo during Christmas 2014. It is a beautiful, spacious updated condo and very nicely decorated. The area seems to be a nice area with many luxury homes. We loved the balcony view where we could watch the dolphins that swim through a few times each day. A short walk to the beach where you can find some of the most awesome shells I have seen. My son enjoyed fishing off of the pier directly behind the condo. We found the other people at the condo to be very friendly and trustworthy as well. Will definitely go back and may make this a regular place to visit! Loved it! :)
