INFORMATION CONCERNING COVID19
Due to the characteristics and protocols adopted, Mas Can Calet is a place that offers a series of advantages for accommodation compared to other establishments:

1. Establishment without overcrowding: we only have 2 totally independent apartments.

2. Totally personalized Check-In process: the process is carried out inside the apartment to be occupied, not at reception.

3. There are no common spaces inside the building, such as the breakfast area or reading rooms.

4. Implementation of a new cleaning and disinfection protocol adapted to the new situation.


Masia Can Calet is a family house located in the centre of the town of LES FRANQUESES DEL VALLÈS (35 kms from Barcelona city center).
At home, you will find peacefulness, comfort and proximity to your work or leisure points of interest in a friendly atmosphere . It is our will to make you feel at home.
We offer an apartment on the ground floor of an ancient farmhouse built in 1840. The apartment has its independent access with a private outdoor PATIO. The property has a total of 2,000 sqm including private parking, organic garden and outdoor garden.
Its excellent location allows fast and easy access to the major points of interest: GRANOLLERS and LES FRANQUESES Industrial Parks, BARCELONA CITY CENTER (30 minutes train), speed circuit of CATALUNYA (8 kms), LA ROCA VILLAGE OUTLET SHOPPING (8 kms), Mataró BEACH (20 kms) or various GOLF courses (10 minutes). There are 2 train stations close to the house (10 minutes walking). The distance to Barcelona center is 30 minutes. One of the lines has direct connection to the airport.

Beautiful house near a tourist center

Beautiful stone farmhouse near a tourist center. Would recommend. In between an expensive and nicer tourist town and a more local affordable town. Very nice place to stay.

This was a very nice and comfortable place to say. It felt like an oasis when you sat out on the patio. It’s close to the R2Nord line, so it was around 35-35 minutes to city center. There were plenty of markets, cafes and restaurants around. Daniel was an excellent host and was very helpful in providing information and recommendations.

Wonderful Host

The property was beautiful. Less 20 minutes from the on the metro. But best of all was the host. The host was very hospitable and sat down with us to give us the best visit into Barcelona.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful historical stone house

My husband and I had a great stay at Daniel’s house. He was very kind and helpful to show us around the house with clear and necessary information. He also gave us a nice bottle of wine and great recommendation for restaurants and nearby city to visit. His house was beautiful, spacy, quiet and comfortable. It's 10 minutes walk to the nearest station from which we could get to the center of Barcelona in 30 minutes. We will definately come back!

Honeymoon Villa

Our entire experience with Daniel was fantastic. He was prompt with all communication and beyond resourceful sharing recommendations, links, maps, and went far beyond what we have received from most VRBO owners. The space was so romantic, historical, and situated outside of the chaos of Barcelona, but within reach by a short train. It felt so safe with a beautiful gated courtyard and we were even gifted some delicious local red wine.

Incredible property

Everything about Davids property was incredible. The outside is beautiful and reminiscent of old spain but the inside is modern and just as beautiful. All the updates david has made make for a cozy stay. The first thing he did was show us a map of everything near by and what we could accomplish on our short stay. Where to eat sites to see. All very manageable within walking distance. The area is quiet and private. We were more then satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning on our next visit!

Perfect Blend of Village Charm and City Access

Our visit to Barcelona and Corró d’Avall was wonderful. Our host, Daniel, and his family were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The property is unique and truly stands out in the village. Daniel works hard to provide the best possible experience for his guests.The location offers an easy train ride into Barcelona and serves as a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. The charming stone house is also within walking distance—about 20 minutes—from the restaurants and shops in Granollers, where we found ourselves on several occasions.If we ever return to Barcelona, we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Daniel, for the amazing stay!

Fantastic accommodation

An excellent property that matched the description perfectly. The quality of accommodation was fantastic. Daniel and his family have completed a beautiful restoration of this gorgeous old farmhouse to provide stylish and comfortable accommodation for their guests. The beds were comfortable and the while apartment was spotless. Daniel was an amazing host and shared his knowledge of the local area and places of interest to visit making it very easy for us. Barcelona on the train was quick and cheap - 21.75 euros for a family of 4 return. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would visit here again. Thank you Daniel you were brilliant.

Fabulous place, and host Daniel

First time at this beautiful property, it is a stunning building restored to an amazing standard by Daniel who was so helpful with things to do and best way to get about. On a practical note it is very clean and beautifully furnished, a comfortable and relaxing place. It was quick and easy to get into Barcelona and a great price compared to living in the centre. I highly recommend staying at this property, you will be delighted with the property and the warm welcome. I will not hesitate to rebook when I next travel to the area, it really did make our stay special. Michelle.

Wonderful Stay

The Stone House is everything as advertised! The apartment is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you will need. Daniel could not have been a more gracious host. His recommendations were very helpful and we saw things we would not have known about had we not stayed there! Highly recommend!!

Großzügige Wohnung, toller Garten, top Vermieter!

Eine wirklich sehr großzügige und gepflegte Ferienwohnung in einem wunderschönen Anwesen in einem Vorort von Barcelona. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Alle wichtigen Sachen wie Lebensmittelläden oder Bahnhof mit Zugverbindung in die Innenstadt von Barcelona (Fahrdauer ca. halbe Stunde) sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Man sollte sich auch nicht von der direkten Umgebung des Hauses irritieren lassen. Diese wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas heruntergekommen. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der Vermieter und dessen Vater. Diese sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben tolle Tipps was man auch außerhalb von Barcelona unternehmen kann. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Super séjour

Nous sommes venu le temps d'un weekend. Daniel est quelqu'un de très gentil, serviable, avec un bon accueil. L'appartement, rien à redire, tout est neuf, très propre, décoré avec gout, nous avons passé un super séjour au calme. C'est un coup de coeur. Nous n'avons pas été déçu et vous ne serez pas déçu. nous gardons l'adresse pour y revenir l'année prochaine. Lucas

Ce sera un plaisir de vous accueillir à la maison, que ce soit par le Grand Prix moto ou parce que decidais passer quelques jours à visiter les attractions à proximité (ville de Barcelone, des plages magnifiques ou des destinations en montagne unique). Top notch owner, location and apartment.

After driving through the gate over the pebbled driveway it was certain no better place could have been found. The owner greeted us offering guidance to train schedules, places to eat and beaches. The beaches he advised were some of the most beautiful I've seen in Spain. Nearby is an outlet mall with every designer brand at prices that without the VAT repaid were still better than prices I would pay for LaCoste shirts in the U.S. If you want to be close to Barcelona but want to be out of the hustle and bustle on your terms this is the place to stay.
