Myrtillos Cottage, Modern style ,great views , close to facilities

Myrtilos Cottage , furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It has stunning views to the Alonnisos countryside and to the islands of the Marine Park, but is within walking distance of the small shops and excellent tavernas of Votsi harbour. The cottage has, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large outside terrace, perfect for dining or just enjoying the serenity and views.The sofa bed in the living area can accommodate a child teenager on the sofa bed .
The modern kitchen has a full oven and hob, a stand up fridge with a freezer compartment on the top. A toaster , Kettle and basic coffee machine and a full compliment of utensils for home dining . An automatic washing machine is also located in the kitchen .
The open plan living area has a table and chairs for inside dining , A sofa that turns into a sofa bed , a coffee table and a flat screen TV offering some local and satellite channels . The windows and doors have mosquito screen fitted . There is an free Air conditioning unit in the living area which is adequate for the whole area .The modern bathroom just off the living area has a shower in a cubicle , WC and sink . Towels are provided .
The tastefully decorated bedroom has a double bed , Wardrobes , Iron and board and a safety deposit box on the wall . There is a french door leading to the terrace area and a window , all have full mosquito blinds . All windows and door in the house have external roller shutter operated from the inside.
The superb outside covered terrace /veranda has a traditional wooden ceiling , there is an outside dining table and chairs and sunbeds and cushions . There is good off road parking .The closest supermarket is in Votsi village and just a 5 minute walk . The quaint harbor is a further 5 minutes walk .Here in Votsi you will find a good selection of restaurants. Patitiri can be reached on foot by a short cut through the hamlet and beach of Rousoum where there are more restaurants , this takes 15 minutes to walk . With a car its 5 minutes.
The old town of Alonissos , with its many vibrant bars , restaurants and shops can be reached on foot in 45 minutes through some off road paths and tracks or in the car in 5 minutes . The area has many walking trails in the forest close by . There are several beaches that can be reached on foot within a 30 minute walk .
The Alonissos pirate museum are a must visit as is the underwater museum in the old village that offers a virtual scuba dive tour of the ancient wreck found a few yrs ago close to the coastline
