The convenient location of Vicoloft in the heart of Trastevere is in close proximatly to the hystoric center of Rome accessible by public transportation or by foot:
A stone's throw away is piazza di S. Maria in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa and the daily fresh market of Piazza S. Cosimato.
By foot crossing the bridge Ponte Sisto in front of Piazza Trilussa takes you into the infamous streets of Campo de 'Fiori; from there you can easily reach Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Trevi fountain and 10 minutes more either directions the Vatican and the Colosseum.
If you take Via Garibaldi up to one of the famous hills of Rome you will reach the Gianicolo and admire the incredible views of the city of Rome below first from the church of S. Pietro in Montorio, a bit further still into the park in front of Piazza Garibaldi.

train or bus only to Termini station

-from Termini station with the H bus to Piazza Sonnino

-from Piazza Sonnino by foot take via della Lungaretta through Piazza S. Maria in Trastevere, make a right to Piazza S. Egidio than bear right and there make right on Vicolo De 'Cinque.
