The house is part of a large property . It is very sunny, and quiet . It has a private garden and an access to the main garden which includes a swimming pool open in the season. On the ground floor, entrance, dining room/kitchen, living room with a fireplace. On the first floor, two bedrooms , a bathroom and a water closet. Ideal location to visit the Champagne region, play golf ( 4 excellent golf courses within or less a half hour drive), reading and relaxing. many excellent restaurants nearby. possibilities of horse back riding , playing tennis, hiking in the vineyards . Not advisable for young children.

Beautiful and hospitable stay

10 minutes outside the ancient city of Rheims lies the little village of Trigny. Alexandre and Nicole have received us very hospitable at their beautiful estate. It was a great joy to be there and enjoy house, garden, pool and surroundings!

Beautiful cottage

Very special property with an absolutely stunning garden and pool area. We stayed in the small cottage which was perfect for our family of 3. We really liked the eye for detail in the styling of the house, very cozy. The hosts Alexandre and Nicole are so friendly and helpful but also respect your privacy. We would love to come back and bring some friends to this lovely place!

Perfectly located to explore the champagne region!

The cottage is clean and quirky and offers a great base to explore the whole region! Reims is a 20min drive by car and has some great restaurants, it was exceptionally hot when we visited and the cottage does not have any fans but I think we were there under exceptional conditions. The owners were very charming, helpful and not at all intrusive. As new visitors to France I would highly recommend this region.

The best french place to be

a 1 week stay that can only be described as super. Nice quick responses from the owner. very pleasant tour where the French holiday feeling could immediately begin. no rush work but explanation with passion. and what a location!!!!! We not only had the cottage but also the huge garden and swimming pool for obs alone. this is living like a god in France. Alexandre, thank you. the perfect host.

Very nice stay

We stayed in this lovely cottage for about a week. The hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed talking to them, the place is wonderfull. The little cottage is very nice and authentic. The fact that you are welcome to use the great garden of the main house is very nice. This garden is beautiful and when in season you can also use the swimmingpool. The fact that we had no shower but a bath was a bit adjusting for us but no problem in the end. While we were there, the neighbors were renovating the roof of their house which was a bit noisy but immediately we were offered to use the bigger rental that was available at that time, just to make us more comfortable. That was very kind of our host. For us an extra silver lining on our stay was the dog! We had great fun playing with her in the big garden. But when you are not a fan of dogs, you will not see her because the hosts will keep here out of your way.

A haven of tranquillity

This holiday cottage in Trigny Champagne exceeded all of our expectations for a peaceful week in beautiful surroundings. Nicole and Alexandre were the perfect hosts and made us feel extremely welcome, providing us with a wealth of information and advice on the local area, places of interest, and amenities. The cottage is brimming with character and charm and is perfectly equipped to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The private rose garden to the front of the cottage is a haven of tranquillity and the ideal place to sit, relax and read, with plenty of inspiration for artists. The large private gardens to the rear of both the holiday cottage and the adjacent hosts’ property and where the Victorian style swimming pool is located, is absolutely stunning, with many hidden areas for lazing about beneath the shade of apple and walnut trees. There are countless places which are well worth a visit in the beautiful surrounding countryside and towns, particularly for those who have an interest in military history, and the sleepy little town of Trigny itself is nestled amidst champagne vineyards which become a hive of activity during the harvesting period towards the end of August. This cottage provided us with the most relaxing holiday that we have had in years, and we are looking forward to returning as soon as we are able to. Many thanks again to Nicole and Alexandre.

Fantastische cottage tussen de wijnvelden vlakbij Reims

Heerlijke cottage met eigen tuin op landgoed aan de rand van het dorp, vlakbij Reims. Mooi ingericht, fijne bedden. Alexandre en Nicole zijn de perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw, heel hartelijk, ze kennen de omgeving precies en kunnen je vertellen waar je lekker kunt eten, waar je champagnekelders kunt bezoeken etc. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor Reims en om te proeven van de champagne, maar ook een fijne plek om te lezen en niets te doen!

Idéalement situé dans un petit village proche de Reims, tout était absolument paradisiaque. Les hôtes Nicole et Alexandre,le caractère de l'endroit, ses différents jardins, la décoration d'intérieur, très très propre... etc... Aucune faut note. Mémorable!

Little Gem

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The garden is so beautiful. The house itself also has a lot of charm. But we were really impressed by the grounds around the house, and near the swimming pool. How peaceful and quiet and beautiful trees and flowers. The owners are in one word lovely. They know how to treat guests. And also know a lot about making champagne. We were in this cottage for 2/3 people but they also rent out the adjacent house for 5/6 people, this house is also lovely. Next time we bring some friends and will go for the bigger house. Merci beaucoup Alexandre y Nicole!

Wspaniały pobyt!

Gdy będziecie w tym regionie polecam! Piękne miejsce na wypoczynek. Domek dobrze wyposażony. Duża posiadłość z której można korzystać , pełen drzew, kwiatów róż w stylu angielskim. (jak w raju) Właściciele bardzo sympatyczni i dyspozycyjni. Powrócimy, napewno!

A little gem in the countryside

We had a lovely week in the most beautiful little cottage. Alexandre and Nicole made us feel very welcome, arranged a champagne tasting, several restaurant visits and gave us some great tips for exploring the region. They were so nice in general, that they made it hard for us to leave! We are already want to come back. The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures and the little cottage is very well equipped with everything you may need. It's perfect for a week of relaxation and reading in the garden or spending some time by the swimming pool. Aside from that, the location is great for exploring the nearby villages and the champagne region. Reims is 20 minutes by car and great for some sightseeing, shopping or restaurants. Next time we would like to explore Paris as well, which can be reached from Reims in only 45 minutes by train.

Fantastisch!

Het huis is een appartement op de begane grond en de eerste etage van een groot 19e eeuws landhuis en het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Enig puntje van aandacht: er is geen douche, alleen een ligbad waarin je eigenlijk niet staand kunt douchen. Desalniettemin: perfect voor drie personen met een tweepersoons- en een éénpersoonskamer. De tuin is fantastisch én gigantisch, met in de verste hoek een klassiek zwembad. Er is altijd een rustig plekje in de tuin te vinden of een rustig moment aan het zwembad. Nicole en Alexandre zijn ontzettend gastvrij en maken het verblijf tot een gedenkwaardige ervaring. Een absolute aanrader!
