Welcome to Oknö, Mönsterås and to Seglarvägen 18, which is just a 30 min drive from Kalmar and Oskarshamn in the south-east of Sweden. The house has 3 bedrooms (one king and two twin bedrooms), a fully equipped kitchen (Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer) and living/dining room areas. There is also an outdoor terrace with furniture and a BBQ. Nestled by the Baltic Sea and close to popular swimming areas, as well as a tennis court, mini-golf and a convenience store. Oknö Island is the perfect location for a relaxing family vacation... Welcome!


Children: Children are welcome. We also have a cot and high chair available for infants. The garden is not surrunded by fench so adult supervision required. Please note the roads are limited used around the area. Playground close by with swings etc.

No Smoking inside - No Animals: In the interests of our non smoking guests, smoking inside the house is forbidden. Please use the outside terrace or garden. Animals are not allowed due to allergy!

Booking notes: Bookings are done via the online platform and follows their terms and conditions with regards to payment, refund and damages charges etc.

Excellent

The perfect vacation rental and location for exploring the area around Okno. You can relax on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the area, get for walking, swimming, bike riding. The house is well equipped and if you enjoy cooking you have every thing you need in the kitchen. It was a very relaxing, quiet stay. Would highly recommend this vacation house.

At Oknö and Seglarvägen 18 you have a perfect holiday home close to nature. Great base to explore areas around in Småland.

A good and well equipped house.

We - as a family of 5 - had wonderful days in the house. We found the house well equipped and clean. The sorroundings are fine - close to the beach and situated in a peacefull area. Everything in the agreement was handled fine and satifying.

Wonderful place to relax

What a great place to spend a relaxing time with family and friends on Okno. This is our second visit to this cottage and look forward to returning. It is the best equipped and well cared for vacation cottage we have stayed in. You will feel like you are at home. The rooms are spacious, beds are extremely comfortable and the stuga was a huge success for extra sleeping area. It is the perfect cottage for a relaxing vacation!!! There is plently of activity for all ages, swimming in the Baltic (short walk from the house), playground for the kids, enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided, and exploring the surrounding areas. The owner provided excellent service and we would highly recommend this vacation cottage.

An excellent vacation home

Okno is a wonderful, peaceful area. The description of the house along with the ammenities was described accurately. The property is well maintained. It is a fully equipped summer cottage with everything you would need to be comfortable. The owner is very flexible and worked with us and made us feel very much at home. There are bicycles available, a beautiful deck and furniture for relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends. It is a perfect place to spend your vacation if you enjoy walking, swimming (its a short walk to the water) or just enjoying nature. There is much to see and do around Okno and the surrounding area. The owner provides a lot of tourist information and history of the area so you have an idea what is available. There are great areas around Okno for exploring, a lot of Viking history in the area, and nearby Oland Island and Kalmar Castle. We enjoyed another wonderful month in Okno and look forward to returning soon. We highly recommend this summer cottage to anyone.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Das Haus ist exakt wie beschrieben bzw. auf den Bildern ersichtlich. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Man kommt sich vor wie zu Hause und braucht eigentlich nur ein paar Lebensmittel einkaufen. Kerzen, Feuerzeuge, Streichhölzer, Grillzubehör, viele Decken, viele unterschiedliche Sitzmöbel, Terrassenausstattung, Küchenausstattung etc - alles vorhanden und darf genutzt werden. In dem Haus gibt es gefühlt 50 Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten um eine tolle Stimmung zu erzeugen. Es ist ein Eckgrundstück mit zwei großzügigen Parkmöglichkeiten. Ringsherum ist es durch hohe Bäume eingesäumt. Die Nachbarn kann man erahnen, sehen aber nur selten. Die Abstände zwischen den Häusern sind groß und die Grundstücke ebenfalls. Lediglich in vier Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß zwei verschiedene Bademöglickheiten. Einkaufen ist im Nachbarort bei ICA oder COOP möglich. Die Insel Oknö ist eine reine Ferieninsel. Ein ca. 9 km langer gut gekennzeichneter Wanderweg führt komplett um die Insel. Alle Parkplätze im Bereich der Insel sind kostenlos. Ebenso die Badestellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für diese tolle Möglichkeit Urlaub zu machen.

Gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage

Das Ferienhaus bietet genügend Platz für die ganze Familie und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders ist auch der großzügige Wintergarten. Zum Meer ist es ein Katzensprung. Man sollte sich auf jeden Fall mit Mückenspray eindecken ;)

Oknö the pearl of the Baltic Sea. Here you have many activities to do. For example, going to the beach (many different options to choose from). One of them is the Old ferry terminal. Swim in the Baltic sea, use the sea jetty in deep water, or suntanning on the boards at sea. There are barbecue area, beach volleyball court, sand bunkers, toilets, outdoor shower, outdoor gym and even a Boule course. Here you can even swim in the winter time. Welcome to Oknö!

Eine tolle Unterkunft

Wir durften in dieser tollen Unterkunft 2 Wochen Sommerurlaub verbringen. Leider machte der Sommer in dieser Zeit eine kleine Pause. Das macht aber nichts, denn die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Es fehlte uns an nichts, alles war so wie beschrieben, und auf den Bildern dargestellt. Verschiedene Badestellen sind rund um das Haus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und all die Dinge die wir uns in Schweden ansehen wollten waren ebenfalls aufgrund der guten Lage einfach zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind vor Ort vorhanden. Wie schon der Titel der Bewertung es beschreibt - eine tolle Unterkunft und auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, wenn auch nur per E-Mail (mehr war einfach nicht nötig) war immer schnell und freundlich. Wenn wir noch einmal in diese Gegend in Schweden verreisen würden - sicher eine gute Wahl. Vielen Dank das wir Urlaub in deinem Haus machen durften.

Oknö, die Perle der Ostsee. Hier haben Sie viele Aktivitäten zu unternehmen. Zum Beispiel an den Strand gehen (viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Auswahl). Einer davon ist der Alte Fährhafen. Schwimmen Sie in der Ostsee, nutzen Sie den Meeressteg im tiefen Wasser oder sonnen Sie sich auf den Brettern am Meer. Es gibt einen Grillplatz, einen Beachvolleyballplatz, Sandbunker, Toiletten, eine Außendusche, ein Fitnessstudio im Freien und sogar einen Boule-Platz. Hier können Sie sogar im Winter schwimmen. Willkommen in Oknö!

On Oknö there are many activities to do. For example, going to one of the many beaches. One of them is at the Old ferry terminal. There you will have a jetty in deep water, and jumping from the diving boards. There are barbecue area, beach volleyball court, sand bunkers, Toilets, outdoor shower and outdoor gym. Mitt i naturen

Vi (4 vuxna, 2 barn) hade en bra tid i detta hus. Det finns gott om plats och många leksaker och spel för barnen (både för inne och ute). Köket var super utrustat (bäst jag har sett). Det finns fina stränder och en bra lekplats i området. Kan rekommendera det till alla som söker en lugn plats.

Das perfekte Ferienhaus...

Abgesehen von der tollen Lage, die einen erholsamen Aufenthalt garantierte, hat uns die liebevolle Einrichtung und perfekte Ausstattung überwältigt. Selbst bei schlechteren Wetter konnte man sich gut die Zeit vertreiben oder einfach in einer der vielen gemütlichen Sitzecken relaxen. Es ist wirklich alles da, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Ein Riesen-Dankeschön an den Vermieter, der Anfragen superschnell beantwortete.

Enjoyable summer in a very cosy place

The house makes you feel at home. It is a very well-equipped, spacious and cosy. We loved to spend the evenings in the conservatory. The garden and the surrounding is perfect for anybody who likes to relax, to swim and to hike. We can definitely recommend this accomadation. We will come back, for sure.

Entspannter Urlaub mit viel Ruhe und Erholung

Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestatt. Die Schlafzimmer können optional mit Fliegengitter versehen werden. Die bereitgestellten Fahrräder waren in gutem Zustand. Das Wetter war prima. Der Wintergarten ist ein schöner Rückzugsort um zu lesen und zu Essen. (Im Haus ist es etwas dunkel). Das Fernsehprogramm beschränkt sich auf das schwedische Angebot, was aber nicht schlimm ist, wir machen ja Urlaub :) . Wir haben uns alkes in allem sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir machen seit ca. 25Jahren Urlaub in Ferienhäusern in D/DK/S, selten haben wir ein so gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Haus gehabt. War eine tolle Woche, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in einer traumhaften Umgebung

Das Haus war voll ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt und ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. So viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, sowohl drinnen und vor allem draußen. Der Wintergarten ist einfach schön. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Oknö provides a great base for relaxation, doing excursions and just be with family and friends. Great place to experience the Swedish nature.

Tolles Haus in erholsamer Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, hat alles was es braucht und mehr! Küche super eingerichtet. Drinnen und draussen sowie im Wintergarten genügend Platz zum Sitzen, auf der Sonnenliege Liegen, Essen etc. Der Vermieter hat uns alle wichtigen Infos weit im Voraus gemailt, so dass wir gut vorbereitet und unbeschwert die Reise antreten konnten. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

The house is well situated on the island and close to near by attractions. It's well equipped and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
