Cabin 1 is a 2 Berth cabin for couples + baby (travel cot) It has a double bed, fully fitted kitchen, lounge, DVD / TV, woodburner heating and WC and shared shower room. There are bikes and a boat for hire.
The cabin has great views of the lake and forest with walking & Cycle paths nearby. There are 4 cabins on the site. There is a Barbeque and Party hut, open Bonfires and barbeques for all. Swimming is possible in the lake plus we have a small pool in the summer months.
There are several pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance plus we are also able to offer Beers from the local Brewery. The famous Zeliv Monastery is close by and also offers its own beer brewed by the Monks, plus they now have a brand new restaurant built into the monastery building.
The Hideaway is set in 3 Acres of forest, surrounded by nature and is an ideal place for a great relaxing or activity holiday for the whole family.

Super locatie
Wij werden liefdevol ontvangen en van af dag 1 tot einde verblijf hebben wij genoten. Was namelijk onze huwelijksreis en daar hadden ze zelfs aan gedacht met een kleinigheidje. Het is heerlijk rustig en super mooie omgeving. En huisje was voor ons 4 strerren alles wat we nodig hadden.

Super, Einfach & Hervorragend, einfach Erholung pur
The Hideaway ist ein kleines Urlaubsparadies mitten in der Natur, umgeben von Wald & Fluss. Die Vermieter Kim & Ian sind sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man sieht und merkt, das in dem kleinen Feriendomizil sehr viel Liebe steckt. Man spricht hier zwar nur englisch (sollte man etwas können und war uns auch bewusst), aber mit Übersetzer (z.B. Handy) ist eine Unterhaltung auch möglich.
Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlichst von Kim & Ian begrüßt, was den ersten, positiven Eindruckt noch verstärkte.
Unsere Blockhütte war sehr zweckmäßig und liebevoll eingerichtet, so das man sich sehr wohl fühlte. Es war alles da, was man so täglich braucht. Selbst der Gang und die Benutzung der Gemeinschaftsdusche war unkompliziert. Das Doppelbett war sehr bequem und wir haben wundervoll schlafen können.
Wer Ruhe & Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wer gerne Ausflüge macht, ist vom Feriendomizil, schnell auf gut ausgebauten Straßen, in die nahen oder fernen Umgebung. Selbst das Einkaufen von Lebensmitteln ist unkompliziert, da die nahe, gelegenen Geschäfte (Kaufland, Potraviny) auch Sonntags geöffnet haben.
Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm, da die Blockhütte beheizbar ist und man auf der Terrasse super & trocken sitzen kann und dies bei gemütlichem Kerzenschein.
Mein Mann ist Angler und konnte hier beim eigenen, kleinen Angelplatz in Ruhe erfolgreich angeln.
Sogar unserer kleinen Emilia (Yorkshire Terrier) hat das Ferienparadies gefallen, mit der wundervollen Natur.
Dieses Feriendomizil können wir mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Wir hatten alles was wir bräuchten. Der Bungalow hat voll und ganz gereicht für 2 Personen und ein kleinen Hund. Für wandern, angeln und radeln ideal. Leider konnte man im den See nicht baden. Bei den warmen Temperaturen mitte August echt Schade.
Vermieter waren super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Perfekt für den geplanten Aufenthalt/Perfect for the planned stay
Ich habe mir dieses Objekt ausgesucht, da ich Ruhe und Entspannung benötigte... genauso hab ich es auch bekommen.
Die Gastgeber Ian und seine Frau sind sehr nette Menschen mit denen sehr nette Gespräche möglich sind.
Ich werde diese Objekt sicher wieder besuchen und kann nur eine Empfehlung abgeben. Danke Ian

A safe haven
Kim and Ian are wonderful hosts, they were available and very helpful when we needed them during our stay. The property has a few cabins and ours was exactly what we needed: cozy, quiet and family friendly.
The river is a beauty and is just a few meters away, we could also hike and walk in the forest. Oh and the campfire inside the property... That was the cherry on the top the first night of our stay.
Thank you Kim and Ian for your hospitality and you kindness, needless to say will return very soon !

Schöner Bungalow für einen Urlaub in Tschechein

Süße Bungalows und super nette Vermieter
Wir wohnten im Bungalow für zwei Personen, der super gemütlich eingerichtet war.
In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
Die Vermieter Ian und Kim sind sehr freundlich.
Das Objekt liegt idyllisch. Städte wie Budweis, Kutna Hora und Prag sind mit dem Auto in 60-90 min zu erreichen.

Tolle umgebung,super Unterkunft, nette Gastgeber
Zeliv ist ein sehr schöner Ort, es gibt ein Vielzahl an Freizeit Möglichkeiten, schwimmen, Kanufahrten, wandern, Radfahren. In der Blockhaus fehlte nichts. Kim und Ian sind total nette Vermieter und geben gut Tipps. Wir werden bestimmt zurück kehren.

We are originally from the UK and in 2014 we decided to make a new life for ourselves. We sold our house and possessions and bought The Hideaway. Why? Well we had visited Zeliv several times in the past and had loved it from the first visit. We had walked past this site many times and thought how great it would be to own somewhere like it.
My background is as an Engineer, the skills I learnt have served me well running the Hideaway. I am in Semi -retirement mode now (60 this year).
