THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
PGA West is a magnificent 2,200-acre club and resort development, located in La Quinta, CA just minutes from Palm Springs. The gated and secured community boasts 54 pools, 6 world class golf courses, 3 clubhouses and a sports & fitness complex. As guests you will have access to:
* Pete Dye TPC Stadium Course (right off our back patio)
* The Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course
* The Greg Norman Course.
Two of the clubhouses are also available to our guests. Eat a fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner and cocktails at Ernie's, inside the Stadium/Nicklaus clubhouse right in our neighborhood! The food is wonderful and the views are great from the outdoor deck! Don’t forget to visit the Pro Shop and get yourself some official PGA merchandise! Wallaby’s West has breakfast, lunch and drinks with live music during the season on a beautiful sunken patio at the Greg Norman Clubhouse. The third clubhouse and sports & fitness complex are for members only. PGA West is a beautiful, relaxing, upscale resort with breathtaking grounds where you can golf, swim, dine, walk and ride bicycles all on property.

EVENTS:
Gorgeous grounds and views of the Santa Rosa Mountains allow you to immerse yourself in the country club resort that is PGA West! The American Express PGA Golf Tournament is held on our very own course every January. The Coachella Vally Music & Arts Festival, The Stagecoach Country Music Festival, and the LaQuinta Arts Festival are only a few blocks away (not quite walking distance) from PGA West. The BNP Paribas Open (Grand Slam of the West), Horse Shows In The Sun (HITS) in Thermal are a short drive away. It's a great place to stay during these world famous events!

OUR HOUSE:
It is a south facing, TPC Stadium Course, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Town Home on a double fairway with stunning lake, mountain and sunset views right from your living room! We have spectacular waterfront views of the lake, golf course and Santa Rosa Mountains and a private spa in the inner courtyard that you will love! From our place you can see plenty of ducks, Canadian geese, hummingbirds, woodpeckers and golfers to entertain you all day. Our home has been completely remodeled with high end materials, luxury furnishings and is a fully stocked and functioning residence. This is a one story building with no one above or below you and there is air conditioning/heating and a washer and dryer as well.

There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with Thomasville cabinets, granite counter tops, small and large appliances, coffee makers, toasters, glassware of all kinds, cooking and baking equipment and everything you might need to host a barbeque or prepare a holiday feast! The kitchen has a sliding glass door, opening onto the courtyard, with access to the gas barbeque right where you need it!

The master bedroom features a king size bed, large roman bath tub, shower, double sink with granite counters and separate toilet area. There is a sliding glass door leading to your patio right on the golf course with a breathtaking view the minute you wake up! The second bedroom features a king size bed and a bath with custom copper hammered sink, granite counters and large shower. The second bathroom has 2 doors. If you wish the bathroom to be exclusively available to those occupying the second bedroom you can just lock the hallway door for privacy and create a second master suite. The second bedroom has a peaceful courtyard view with the relaxing sights and sounds of the courtyard spa and Moroccan decor. With both bedrooms having king size beds and attached baths, it’s perfectly configured to host 2 couples, and afford each their own privacy on opposite sides of the home.

There are flat screen HD TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms. All of the tv's are equipped with Spectrum Cable TV with all of the premium movie channels and a premium sports package including NFL Red Zone. Streaming tv services such Hulu, Amazon, Netflix and You Tube can be utilized on the living room tv only.

OUTDOORS:
The outdoor inner courtyard features a gas barbeque, a high top dining table with 4 chairs, 2 deep seating rocking chairs with cushions, an umbrella and your own private spa. You can heat the private spa at your discretion with no extra charge. Our front yard and courtyard are both beautifully illuminated at night and feature full grown tangelo, orange and palm tree's. The patio on the golf course, with the fabulous view, features a dining table with 4 chairs and two additional deep seating rocking chairs with a large coffee table and an umbrella.

IN HOUSE AMENITIES:
We try to keep a full stock of items to ensure a wonderful stay for our guests. We provide toilet paper, paper towels, sponges, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies and hangers. In case you have forgotten something, we usually have mini size supply of body lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes for emergencies. We also provide a fresh new spice rack every year with 15 to 20 kitchen spices to make cooking a breeze!

POOLS & SPAS:
In addition to the private spa in the courtyard, you are just one door down from one of the community pool & spa areas which also has great views. It is usually very quiet and you will likely have the whole pool area to yourself. There are 54 pools/spas in our community with plenty of room for everyone, so pick your favorite one and enjoy! The community pools/spas are heated on an ever changing, rotating basis. Don’t worry….you are never too far from a heated pool in PGA West!

THINGS TO KNOW:
While we adore pets we are a pet free rental. We ask that you please do not bring your pets as we are allergic to pet hair and dander and work very hard to have an allergy free home. This is also an adult only rental. We prefer our guests to be over 30 years old and no guests under 18 please. The garage, entry way closet and upper hallway closet are all locked for owners personal storage but the very large closets in both bedrooms and the lower hallway closet are available for guests to use. Parking is available in the driveway for 2 cars and on the street for 72 hours at a time.
