Welcome to Tranquility Cottage, a beautifully appointed, well maintained, and updated 2BR/2B half-duplex on 7th Street in Key Colony Beach. Located on the widest canal in Key Colony Beach and opposite Sadowski Causeway you will be in walking distance of local restaurants, Sunset Beach, Fishing and Dive Charter Boats, and the Cabana Club. The house also has a Tiki Hut that is quite spacious and fabulous for relaxing and getting some shade.

Four (4) person occupancy. 7 – Night minimum stay. Sorry, NO SMOKING (INCLUDING E-CIGARETTES) or PETS.

Bedding includes a Queen bed in the Master Bedroom, 2 Queen beds in the Guest Bedroom, and a Queen bed pull-out in the Living Room.

Home amenities include 37’ of Dockage, Outdoor Bait Freezer, BBQ Grill, 2 Bicycles, Central Air Conditioning, Ceiling Fans in each room, a linen service is provided which includes both towels and sheets, Televisions in each room, Full Size Washer and Dryer, Wi-Fi Internet, Fully Equipped Kitchen, and Cabana Club membership access.

Located across 7th Street, Key Colony Beach Park features include a 9-Hole Golf Course, Walking and Jogging Course, Children’s Playground, Horseshoe Bocce Ball Tennis and Basketball Courts.

Everything went smoothly and the house was clean and well stocked. From the bikes to the laundry detergent and the snorkeling gear, we felt right at home and did not "need" for anything. We will definitely be staying here agon in the future.

Beautiful Area

We loved this property! It is comfortable and has more than everything for a perfect vacation. The covered patio allows you to be outside at all times during the day. The access to Club Cabana made the trip. Loved it!!

Boats Welcome!!

Easy spot to maneuver the boat in and out of and quick access to the Gulf and Atlantic. We had an amazing time under the tiki hut, which was our favorite part of the house!!

Key Colony Spring Break

Perfect family get away. Place was clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. Channel is close to Vaca Cut. Great dock and outside patio. Cabana Club is nice for lunch and a lazy by the pool. Perfect community golf, tennis and pickle ball. Sunset Park for the best sunset.Walkdown suns

GREAT Place!!!

The house was exactly as described. It was very clean! The kitchen has everything you need to cook with as well as a nice grill outside. We loved sitting outside under the tiki roof to watch the boats go by. We were lucky to have many manatees visit over the two weeks including a momma and baby. The beds are nice and love having a nice washer/dryer to use. The hidden gem is having the membership to The Cabana Club!!! Had many days there relaxing. It is also very close to many dining options. Thanks for making our vacation one to remember!! Bob and Mary Ann

Excellent property, location and a great host

Property is excellent and is at a very convenient location. Hosts, Marlene and Alex were excellent and were very cooperating to work with and in meeting our needs. We will highly recommend it to any one. We will definitely go back to this property.

!!!Love Key Colony Beach!!!

We enjoyed our trip so much. One of the most relaxing vacations we have taken. Wonderful cottage, clean, really liked the decor, spacious bedrooms, great location, super friendly community, easy access to beaches, restaurants and fishing. We rented a boat for several days so loved having the dock. Would definitely stay there again and again! : )

Fantastic vacation

We had a great vacation at this property. Our only complaint was the neighbors dogs barked nonstop when the neighbor would leave. One night they barked till after midnight. Overall the property is perfect for a Keys vacation. Thank you

Exactly as represented

The property is just as nice as represented in the listing. We had a very enjoyable stay. When the AC blower quit Kathy got a HVAC repair who worked all day and got us AC again. She turned an "Oh, s**t!" moment into a "Way to go!!" moment. I plan to go back.

3 week vacation for lobster season

The duplex was very comfortable and fit our family needs ! It was nice to be able to look out on patio and see our boat in the water too! The only thing we didn’t like was that from the back bedroom you had to walk thru the middle room ! It was mice to have a full washer & dryer ( though it was noisy) a big perk is being able to use the Cabana club which had a huge pool, bar , food service and access to their beach!

Location location location……and amenities

This place had it all. The convenience of a washer and dryer, two bathrooms, plenty of towels, and every appliance we could want and a grill, made our stay feel right at home. But, we didn’t want to be at home, we wanted vacation… and this place delivered. The dock right out back kept our girls entertained for hours and hours, as they caught moon jellies with our nets and small fish with fishing poles in the closet. (What a great surprise!) The thatched roof out back with a checkerboard table allowed us to hang outside when we wanted to enjoy the warm weather but not roast in the sun. Many of the neighbors are renters, although some are permanent residents. Regardless, everyone was nice. Along with the place, comes membership to the Key Colony Cabana Club that was a quick, easy ride by bike (which we all loved). Once there, the pool - kept at 86 degrees, tables with umbrellas, lounge chairs, and beach were a huge hit for the kids. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the Mango Tango was on point. It wasn’t until our last two nights that we discovered the other activities a brief walk from our place. There were tennis courts, a basketball hoop, a small playground AND all of the equipment provided to play bocci ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard and corn hole. I wish we had known sooner, as it was a great way to end the day as the sun went down.The house, neighborhood, community, and island all exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back, Marathon. We’ll be back.

Unhappy with the owner of the property

Let me start with--Our overall stay was enjoyable(we were in the keys so it HAD to be good!) Now for the critique.... Both bedrooms adjoin so you have to travel back and forth through the middle bedroom to get to living/kitchen area(pretty inconvenient/ no privacy) We worked through that though. My main issue was when we checked out and left I get a call from the realtor 3 days later questioning me whether or not we cleaned out the Refrigerator. I explained that we did and took the garbage out. She then called back and asked if we carried a black garbage bag with food items in it to the garbage area. I told In fact that my 15year old did take the bag to the garbage area. She then joked with me and said she was wondering if she needed to scold the cleaning crew or not. I responded jokingly to her and said no you can scold me--lol Shen then called me back and informed me that the black bag of food had been left in the recycle bin not the garbage bin and the recycling crew left the recycle stuff AND bag of garbage. The owner of the property had to physically drive the recycling stuff to the recycler himself. She then informed me that he would be holding back $100.00 of our deposit for him having to go to the recycler himself!!! Now don't get me wrong, we made a mistake that inconvenienced the owner. But after spending around $2,000 for our stay I feel it is very petty of the owner to do this. I expressed this to my realtor and she apologized. I explained to her that she needed to start looking for our house next year for mini season--BUT do not offer this house to us again. Not to mention that when we arrived the recycle and trash cans were full! And we arrived on Saturday(which happens to be the trash/recycle pick up day--so here we sat with overflowing recycle and garbage cans until Tuesday which is the other pick up day. I feel that charging us $100.00 is absurd--Just in the principle of doing unto others as you would have them do to you. I have been in retail for 25 years. And if I docked everyone of my customers for a minor discrepancy I would NOT have 25 years under my belt. So I have to give a less than desirable review on principle! I would think twice before spending your hard earned money on this place and if you do make SURE that you get the correct bag in the correct bins! Wayne

Everything was great at the house, it came with everything we needed and was a perfect stay for our trip. We loved using the dock for our boat, and the bait freezer outside was awesome to use. Staying in KC Beach was wonderful and all the neighbors were great people.
