Bedroom with a Twin Bed, 46 inch LCD TV/DVD ( Satellite TV with 100 plus channels), and full house privileges at the Tacit Shadow Resort property in Parowan at the base of the Brian Head resort mountain.

The bathroom is shared with another bedroom when booked.

This bedroom is excellent for the business traveler. It is equipped with a large desk.

Includes full use of Resort common amenities (shared by all guests) including kitchen, dining room, living room, commercial laundry room, theater room and extensive outdoor areas including BBQ's, children's play ground, basketball half court, regulation Bocce court and much more. A Queen size 6 inch Memory Foam Tri-Fold Futon Mattress w/ sheets/blanket and pillow will be provided for the 2nd and 3rd guests. Located at the base of the Brian Head resort mountain. Central to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, & Grand Canyon.

Tacit shadow is often used for visitors to Brian Head due to its lower altitude (stay low / play high)

This resort has staff on site 24/7.

Tacit shadow has covered porte-cochère dropoff, FREE onsite parking including large vehicle and trailer parking.

Tacit shadow also features an onsite theater room, regulation bocce court, children's play area, horse coral, BBQ courtyard, large deck, and expansive grounds with walkways throughout.

Guest have full use of the kitchen, dining room and living room which is shared with other guests. The kitchen has a 5 burner gas stove, oven, microwave and dual drawer dishwasher. A large assortment of small appliances, pots, pans and spices are also provided. Strong Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

This room is provided with broadband WiFi internet through a private in-room Verizon Hotspot with download speeds between 5 and 12 Mbps and upload speeds between 2 and 5 Mbps.

Guest will have shared access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, 110' projection screen theater room, and teppanyaki area. Use of teppanyaki/hibachi table requires use of professional chef.

There is also a half-court basketball area weather permitting.

Tacit shadow is a year round resort with easy access to Brian Head, nearby petroglyphs, Cedar City Shakespeare festival, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Monument, and Cedar Breaks. You are NOT booking an entire private house. You are booking one or more rooms in a resort that has other rooms and other guests.

Easy Stay

Such a great, warm and welcoming place! As a lone, female taveller, I can really appreciate a place like Tactic Shadow. I felt safe, warm, and able to settle in quickly and easily with a warm welcome from Scott and Sara. They were so kind and even lent me their ski goggles! I am definetly coming back

Had an excellent overnight stay at Tacit Shadow. All staff, co-tenants and the host were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

Overall, a nice stay. Whole space was very clean and well organized. Owner/operators are kind and are around but not nosy. Room is roomy, has a nice closet, smart TV, plenty of space to put stuff, pretty basic, bed was nothing special. Shower in shared bathroom was very nice! Quite a bit of road noise (or maybe construction?) at night AND the walls are thin - obviously nothing that can be done about this but if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some ear plugs. Nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and laundry, and some fun amenities. I stayed in April and it was pretty quiet but I imagine this place gets pretty hopping in summer time!Check in instructions (where to park) via VRBO were confusing but they are aware of this now. About 1 1/2 hours to Bryce and 1 hour to Zion. Be sure to check out Parowan Gap Petroglyphs and Dinosaur Tracks if you get the chance! Stores and gas stations nearby and a cute cat that will hang out with you if you sit outside.

Great! Friendly hosts and nice rooms!

I had a really great time staying here. It's only 20 min away from Brian Head. The property was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly. It almost felt like a bed and breakfast because you could hang out in the common areas and get to know the other guest and the hosts which was fun.

Comfortable and clean

I only stayed one night. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom, but I never saw any other guests. (I heard them, though.) The room was comfortable and clean and the wi-fi was good.

Perfect one man shared castle

My stay was perfect for what I needed. An affordable clean, comfortable and safe place to stay for a last minute trip up to Brian Head. There was one minor snafu on check in but it was quickly remedied. The room is exactly as pictured and equipped very well. The rest of the home was clean and kitchen was good for small meal prep. I was allowed to use the fridge but I will warn there wss not a lot of spare space. The owners were friendly in the little interaction I had. They sorta let you have your space. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay!

This was a great place to stay for visiting Cedar City. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The owner and on site hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The owner was very quick to respond to any of my questions. He was very kind about allowing me to add another guest at the last minute. It was a little uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with other guests, but it all worked out. It would be helpful to have a small mirror in the bedroom, since this room shares the bathroom with another room. Due to the necessary hotel-style locks on the bedroom doors, there is no way to quitely close the doors. If you are a lite sleeper, this will wake you up. However, there is great peace of mind knowing that you and your belongings are secure in your room. This was a great place to stay. If I am in the area and need a place to stay, I would stay here again.

The room(s) we rented were exactly as Scott (the owner) described. It's location is close to many parks as well as a ski resort. If you are looking for a room in a cozy house, look no further than Tacit Shadow. The onsite staff are ever present but always try to be non-intrusive. The rates for rooms are very competitive. Highly recommend.

Great!!!! Like home

Everything was awesome, the house is beautiful,. They answer fast and try to accommodate us the best way possible due to we traveled with small children. Jill the host is a lovely lady easy to talk to. We love it.

Perfect in every way!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful The vacation rental was spotless Location was 15 minutes from Cedar City, 20 minutes to Brianhead, and 1+ hrs to Bryce Canyon The condition of the rental is pretty much brand new Overall, I highly recommend this vacation rental Reviewer Comments: This place is located in between some great vacation spots. If you want to go skiing, see red rocks, go to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, or other great activities in the area, this place is wonderful. The hosts were very nice and would do everything to help meet your needs. It was good to visit with them. We used the beautiful deck for a barbecue, played a little Bocce, and watched a movie one night in their professional surround sound theater in recliner chairs and ate popcorn! The Bocce court is amazing. Every effort was made to make this Bocce court first rate and professional grade. Very unusual for Utah. There is a Teppanyaki/Hibachi table in the kitchen where you could request for the chef to come and cook your group a Japanese meal right at the property. This place could house probably 15+ if you wanted a large party and the beds were all available. We will definitely be coming back to Tacit Shadows for future getaways!
