I cannot imagine a more beautiful and convenient base from which to explore Aix-en-Provence and its surroundings than from this home. The house is very well maintained, clean, and has every amenity you need to experience a pleasant and relaxed vacation. Our every expectation was exceeded and we had a lovely and comfortable visit. Three generations enjoyed exceptional home in Aix

We could not wish for more at this lovely gated estate in an upscale neighborhood with many amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for all. Indoors and out, we had plenty of seating and chaises by the pool, awnings for shade when needed, a/c in all of the bedrooms and a very well stocked kitchen. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. We will return again!

We were a group of three retired couples from Canada travelling through Southern France. The Villa was very clean, well stocked and positively magnificent. Elisa and Gerard welcomed us personally and acquainted us with the Villa and surrounding amenities. They generously left wine and local treats for us to enjoy. They were delightful hosts! We loved the Villa and would highly recommend it.

bit of hassle with location, buses, taxis, etc., if just going to Aix centre, so, car helps but then need to park in Aix. But, that was nothing to do with the house which was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa on the hill above Aix-en-Provence. The hosts met us in person, were delightful and helpful, taking the time to make sure we understood how everything worked. Communication throughout was exemplary. All four bedrooms are full of light and fresh air. Very comfortable beds. There are many lovely sitting areas outside and in, shade or sun depending on your preference. We usually gathered around the pool in the afternoon to relax and talk and watch the sunset. A big round table under the awning off the kitchen/dining room accommodated our group of 8 and we mostly ate our meals outside. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make feasts for your crowd. The villa is an easy walk to the old town with its delightful plazas and many outdoor cafes. Take the path to the Field of Painters for a nice way into town that avoids the big road.

A perfect stay!

We had the loveliest two weeks at this house. It was perfect for our group which was a mixture of family, friends and children. The kids had a great time and loved the play house in the garden and the swimming pool. Gérard and Elisa were fantastic hosts, giving us recommendations of where to shop and a chateau to go to. They left some food in the house which was perfect when we arrived - our daughter loved the madeleines! All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was really great that all necessary amenities were there when we arrived - dishwasher tablets, loo roll, kitchen roll etc. We loved the outside table. It’s so easy to drive into Aix and the town is really fun to explore. You can bus into town but it’s really easy to drive. We enjoyed our stay so much and didn’t want to leave. We hope to come back again! Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Beautiful setting minutes from the center of Aix

This is a beautiful house that worked perfectly for my family of four and my two parents. It is impeccably clean and every room is perfectly decorated for comfort and style. The kitchen is completely furnished and we cooked most evenings here. It was great to have clothes washer and dryer. The dining room is beautiful also, but we ate every meal on the terrace, where there is a large stone table that easily seats 8-10 people. Gorgeous view! The first floor bedroom has its own bathroom, and WC just across the entry. The family room has a large TV. It was great also to have wifi access. Upstairs, the three bedrooms worked perfectly for us, with two queen beds and one room with twins. My room had a spectacular view! Bathroom and WC upstairs, as well. The drive time to Place de la Rotonde (where we parked most of the time) was about 7 minutes. Best thing about this house: the pool!

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Großzügigkeit der Zimmer und des Grundstücks – ein echtes Highlight war dabei die fantastische Weitsicht. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen rundum angenehmen Urlaub braucht, sodass wir uns von Anfang an pudelwohl gefühlt haben.Die Altstadt bzw. das dortige Parkhaus ist in gut 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, zudem gibt es gute Busverbindungen in die Stadt.Das Gastgeberehepaar ist überaus freundlich und tut alles, um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Wenn es möglich ist, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage in Aix-en-Provence

Wir haben uns in dem großen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit schönem Ausblick über Aix. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut. Auch die Übernahme und Rückgabe des Objekts verlief reibungslos.

Location magnifique sur les hauteurs d'Aix en Provence, accueil très sympathique, propriétaire réactif lors des échanges et arrangeant. A lovely stay in Aix en Provence

The house was beautiful, clean and quiet, equipped with everything you could need. AC in all the bedrooms was fantastic as well as the option to open windows and doors and let fresh air in. The pool was greatly appraised as was the outdoor spaces for lounging and eating. The hosts went above and beyond and made every effort to help us obtain what we needed. Elisa speaks no english but Gerard speaks some. Both are very kind and patient. We arrived later than planned and couldn't pick up our rental car because Avis was closed. We took taxis to the house and the next morning, Gerard too us food shopping, then back to the house to unload the groceries and THEN to the TGV Avis station for the rental car! This was so above and beyond what we expected and we are eternally grateful. Don't hesitate to stay at this house! You'll be comfortable and well cared for.

Super week-end entre copines

Nous avons passé un très agréable week-end entre amies. Aix est une très jolie ville. La maison n’est pas trop loin du centre ville donc pratique et le quartier est très calme. Elisa et Gérard sont des hôtes d’une très grande gentillesse!!!!

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einem super Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht und einem schönen Pool. Der Vermieter war super nett, hat sich sehr gut um alles gekümmert und war immer ansprechbar.
