English:-Do you want to experience the sunset on one of the photos for yourself? The possibility is there! Just cross the road and you are on the beach, able to soak in this gorgeous sight, on a daily basis. As it is in the west of Mahe, you will be able to experience the sunset everyday during your stay. The property itself is family friendly as it is fenced with its own private parking and garden. It is also located just next to a bus stop. The two bedrooms are air conditioned, and the house is fully secured with an alarm system. Our chalet is being rented as a whole. The prices are indicative and there are special rates depending on the amount of people/family size/length of stay, so do not hesitate to contact us. Airport transfer can be provided at a very reasonable price.

Français:-La possibilité d'experiencer le couche du soleil est là! Il suffit de traverser la route et vous êtes sur la plage, capable de tremper dans cette vue magnifique, sur une base quotidienne. Comme il est dans l'ouest de Mahé, vous serez en mesure de connaître le coucher du soleil tous les jours de votre séjour. La propriété elle-même est familial et convivial car elle est clôturée avec son propre parking privé et jardin. Les deux chambres sont climatisées. La maison est entièrement sécurisé par un système d'alarme. Notre chalet est en cours de location dans son ensemble. Les prix sont indicatifs et il ya des tarifs spéciaux en fonction du nombre de personnes / taille de la famille/la durée du séjour, alors n'hésitez pas à nous contacter. Transfert de l'aéroport peuvent être fournis a une prix tres raisonnable.

Enjoyed the entire week here! Chalet was super and comfortable with a lovely beach only a few feet away! Lisette and son, Paul were wonderful hosts, with timely offerings of plates of delicious food and inviting me to join the family on a picnic to swim and catch the sunset at a super beach further up the road. Very helpful too were the instructions provided on use of public transport to get to Victoria and other beaches along the coast. Overall a very calming and blissful stay. Would love to return!

Sorry to hear that our property was not to the highest standard that you were expecting. We are a low budget accommodation, and we do meet the required standard from the government which carry out an inspection regularly. We have had a lot of satisfied guests, with some that even come back every year or twice a year. To say that the property is a tourist trap is very unfair.

We love this place

We had excellent communications with the owner. He was very helpful in arranging everything and in answering all of our questions. His kind mother Lisette made us a delicious Creole meal and was very helpful with any questions that we had during our almost three week stay. The air conditioning and hot water were great and it was very convenient to have a washing machine there. The location is great since the beach is just across the street and is not heavily populated. The water is very clean and clear. There is a little market right there too. We would definitely stay here again!

Vacances incroyable !

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Anse Boileau, la maison est très propre et très fonctionnelle (la clim dans les chambres au top), accès au wifi, la maison est très bien situé à deux pas de la mer (très belle plage) magasin d'alimentation à coté, arrêt de bus si besoin ! Nous avions une voiture de location et nous avons pu rentrer notre voiture dans la propriété avec portail fermé. Nous avons été accueilli par Lisette une femme adorable qui nous a donné de très bons conseils durant notre séjour d'ailleurs un grand MERCI Lisette de votre bienveillance :-) Juste une petite remarque, le temps étant très variable aux Seychelles peut-être couvrir la terrasse (ou il y a la table) pour pouvoir manger dehors ;-) Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour et découvert une île magnifique ! Nous reviendrons chez vous avec un grand plaisir !

Una casetta semplice ma con tutto ciò che occorre, biancheria, lavatrice, stoviglie varie. La padrona di casa gentilissima e discreta abita nella casa accanto è una sera ci ha anche preparato una cena creola ! Posizione ideale per visitare tutte le spiagge più belle in pochi minuti di macchina. Proprio davanti casa ce n’è una stupenda frequentata solo da pochi pescatori locali con acque basse e calde. Dietro casa un negozio per qualunque necessità, di fronte casa la fermata del bus. Siamo stati benissimo.

Nieruchomość położona jest przy głównej drodze i plaży. Blisko do sklepu. Take away 100 metrów. Hałas z drogi rekompensuje bliskość plaży, sklepu i take away. Dobrze jest wynająć samochód na czas pobytu. Właścicielka domu jest bardzo miła i uprzejma.

Be a Seychelles local

This place was pretty much perfect for our family. We were travelling on a budget and we like to have our own space and look after ourselves mostly. If you want a 5 star hotel with people fawning over you all the time, you won't like this place. But if you want to feel like you live in Seychelles for a little while, this place is great. Lisette looked after us while we stayed. She was friendly and very helpful when we needed her. Most days this just meant she would take our rubbish out. Other days it meant replacing something that happened to break while we were there. She made us some amazing local food a few times too! We hired a car and I recommend any visitor to do so too. But this place is right next to a grocery store, across the road from a fruit stall, across the road from a beach that was excellent for our toddler, right next to a road that goes to the other side of the island, one minute walk from a takeaway shop, around the corner from more shops and a restaurant that was just opening, down the street from a community centre with a play ground and basketball court. Visitors can't use the bus during Covid but the stop is right outside. One negative was the 30minute drive to the main side of the island which we had to do several times and that's only bad because of the mountain roads. Another negative was people who visit the shops litter in the yard. As a tip, you should hire a car and maybe spend a little more than the minimum to do so. You will be driving to lots of other locations and the roads are tough on little old cars. The yard area was good. There was a large umbrella with table and chairs and my wife worked out there in her laptop most days. The yard could be better kept but our daughter wasn't complaining. The house is close to Lisette's house and another friendly neighbour, part of a little compound. There are other experiences with this house that are what you expect if you live like a Seychelles local for a couple of weeks. It is not a fancy hotel or even like a small town in our home country, but was a nice enough place. The internet was a little difficult for us. There were two networks in the house but the unlimited free one was often slow. The other one was limited and we didn't figure out how to use it on every device. I recommend the owner put in a wifi extender as a cheap solution or a new unlimited connection which might not be affordable due to low occupancy due to Covid. We would stay here again.

The best place in Seychelles. Just WOW!

This is a cute and cozy cottage just across from the beach. True, it's not the best beach on the island, but it's a BEACH within 15 seconds walk, and sunsets there are amazing. Small supermarket and bus-stop are right outside. AirCon is strong and good. Hosts are lovely and helpful. This is probably the best value for your money in all of Seychelles. And just because the price is fair doesn't mean you have to compromise quality. It's super comfortable and the location is super as well. There are busses to the best, most beautiful, and most private beaches on the island and they pass quite frequently to bring you to all your paradise-beach options. It's a truly wonderful place to stay. Try it yourself!

Nice 2 bedroom close to the beach, walking distance to more beaches. Good supermarket next door and bus stop in front. Time tables for busses to Victory and other beaches in folder. Wifi ok .Very helpful host. Paulus

modest but charming self catering apartment in Mahe

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The apartment is modest but fully equipped with everything you would need for self-catering and having the supermarket next door is extremely convenient. The owner Lisette is very nice, we initially had some issues with the internet but she helped us immediately. The location is ideal: the bus stop is right outside the flat and Lisette provided bus timetables. We had originally planned to rent a car but found it easy to travel all over the island by bus. The flat is situated on Anse Boileau, it is not the nicest beach on the island but we definitely enjoyed early-evening dips in the (unbelievably warm) ocean watching amazing sunsets. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the touristic area and you want to have a better sense of the Seychelles culture this is the ideal accommodation for you.

Wir waren das 3. mal auf den Seychellen und wussten was uns erwartet. Für einen preiswerten Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Direkt am Strand. Lediglich das Bad sollte erneuert werden! Tolle Vermieter!
