“La Casita Encantada” All the Charm & all the Amenties for a Long or Short Stay!

Lovely and Full of Charm - Whether your coming to visit your kids at the U of A or Escaping the Winter Elements, We are certain that you will enjoy your stay in our Tastefully Remodeled 1946 Bungalow. Everything has been updated, from kitchen to decor with modern amenities, while still maintaining the charm of a Southwest Casita. New Heating and Air Conditioning along with Saltillo Tile throughout so that you are comfortable your entire stay.



Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds and closet ( one is a standard closet, the other is a walk-in ) and a chest of drawers and sitting chair. Extra linens are available in the closet for both beds, along with extra pillows and comforters. Also available is a queen-sized air mattress for additional guests.

Guest Access
Guest have access to the entire house, lovely front porch, fully fenced in back yard, and carport for free off street covered parking. The carport provides covered parking for 2 cars. There is plenty of space behind the house and in the driveway to park an RV (though not covered).

Interaction with Guests:
We like our privacy when we travel, so unless you reach out, we will leave you to enjoy your stay. (Alway available if needed though )

This was the perfect little house a way from the hustle and bustle. It was so quiet and had everything we needed.It was well stocked with things you might need.Our host was very responsive and available if needed.

This very cute casita was clean and comfortable with a nice back yard. We had all the conveniences of home. It was a great to place to gather with local family members during our stay. I hope to stay here again next time in Tucson.

We were in Tucson for a yoga workshop at Yoga Oasis. I choose to location based on proximity to the studio, price and feel. This property perfect. The communication with the host was easy and efficient. I would stay here again and I highly recommend this property.

Everything was just about perfect during our stay. We wished the bedroom blinds kept the sun out in the early morning. There were no tvs in either bedroom, which wasn't a huge deal because I had my laptop, so we were able to watch tv in the bedroom before bed. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the back yard was very nice. The house was very clean and the setup of everything was lovely. We would definitely stay again.

We always appreciate places that are safe and welcoming to our pets. This place was brimming with southwestern charm. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed, and all the rooms were nicely spacious. The backyard was absolutely lovely and the host very responsive. The house was rather dark though, the pictures represent it in a very flattering light. Both beds were a little uncomfortable: one was too soft, the other one too firm. I guess it needed a third Goldilocks option. :) Aside from that, the area was amazing, quiet and safe, and we recommend the place.

"La Casita Encantada" was the perfect location for my husband and I to stay while we searched for our new Tucson home. It had all the amenities we needed for a month-long stay including a comfortable bed, great kitchen and laundry facility. The A/C was very cold and was appreciated as our stay began July 5. The location was perfect for us to explore the area. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. We also had our 8 y/o border collie with us. She enjoyed exploring the fenced back yard. Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

Great place to stay

this is a very nice place to stay, bedrooms were comfortable, granite counter tops, stove/oven, and refrig, and washer/dryer set it apart from other places. Kitchen was very well equipped, really complete.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Casita. Taylor was a friendly host. He left us snacks and fruit which went beyond what he needed to do. The house was comfortable and our dogs enjoyed the huge backyard. The neighborhood seemed safe and was quiet with friendly neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

We've had excellent guests stay at this casita, and everyone seems to love the simplicity of it, the back yard, and the location. Wait until we finish the outside landscaping, and some more of the trim work, guests will really be raving about it then! Comfy and conveniently located, it's worked well for every guest who's stayed, whether they were here for a wedding, or to visit a child who's attending the U of A.

Nice, clean resort.

The condo had everything we needed to make meals. We loved the hot tub. The Condo was clean and well kept. Lots of towels! Took advantage off the beach chairs and the cooler. Beach was a short walk as were small convenience stores and restaurants. Would stay there again.

Generally a nice place to stay. the home was very clean and had some good amenities (i.e. big TV, good dishes). However the bathroom could use some upgrades. The shower worked but it was old and somewhat primitive.

Very cute casita in a quiet neighborhood

Taylor was very responsive and brought us cutting knives and other kitchen items when we asked for them. Big backyard and comfortable chairs on the front porch.

Tucson Get-Away

My husband and I stayed at this adorable little bungalow for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. A great kitchen with all necessary tools, comfy couch and restful backyard allowed us to maximize our enjoyment during our short little respite. Although it was further from downtown than we thought when booking, it was centrally located for all of our adventures and we would definitely book here again.

Taylor - I'm originally from Oxford Pennsylvania though Arizona has been my home since 1997 and I absolutely love it! Cooking, gardening and reading are just a few of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I love to travel and am very friendly and personable and enjoy meeting new people from all over the United States and beyond. With that said, hosting is something I enjoy very much :)

Yuko - Born and raised in Japan until Junior High, went to High school and college in Tucson Az. Just started my apt in Fukuoka as rental , for I plan on returning to Arizona here in the near future, though Fukuoka will always be "home". Keeping my place there keeps me connected for when I return, Which will be 2-3 times annually. Very much a people person, and this Vacation Rental has been rather fun..:)

This is the adjacent property to my private home, which has another casita behind it that we use as a vacation rental. So if this one isn't open, inquire about the other. With that said, We absolutely LOVE the neighborhood. You can't get any more centrally located to EVERYTHING to do in Tucson ! Close to U OF A, hiking golf, great restaurants, parks, botanical gardens, malls, downtown entertainment etc, while located in a well established quiet neighborhood that was built out in 1940's.
