Fully-Renovated 2 BR, 2 Bath 'A Place at the Beach III' Resort Condo, Unit K366

Welcome to “A Place At The Beach III”, Atlantic Beach’s premier vacation resort! In addition to the beautiful, wide, white sand beach and gorgeous views, enjoy numerous amenities included at no additional charge at this family-friendly complex.
'Lorna Dune' is a third floor 2 BR/2 BA unit with ocean and sound views from the balcony. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a private bathroom and private entrance to the balcony. The second (front) bedroom has large, sturdy bunk beds (full over queen with stairs instead of a ladder). Up to six guests can sleep comfortably in this unit.

The fully-equipped kitchen has a washer and dryer. The former wet bar in the living area is now a workstation with electrical outlets/USB ports. Free wireless broadband internet is available.

A Place At The Beach III offers the best amenities of any resort on the Crystal Coast. The oceanfront location of the resort allows immediate access to the beach without crossing any streets. The large outdoor pool offers a wade-in area for toddlers as well as the only giant water slide in Atlantic Beach. A central courtyard also features an updated kid's playground and a large grassy area as well as outdoor charcoal grills. An indoor pool with hot tub and a deck with gas grills are only a few steps from this unit. The resort also includes lighted tennis courts, cornhole, shuffleboard, 9-hole mini-golf course, ping-pong table (all necessary sports equipment is available at the office), and an outdoor hot tub. The knowledgeable resort staff are on the premises to help with any questions you may have.

The surrounding area offers lots of additional attractions. Morehead City and Beaufort are a short drive away. Beautiful, historic Fort Macon State Park is within walking distance. The beautiful NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is a 15-minute drive. Surf, pier, and charter fishing (inlet and deep sea) are available year-round. Fresh local seafood is served at many nearby restaurants and fish markets. Grocery stores, shopping centers and a movie theatre are all within a few minutes' drive.

Come visit our comfortable and well-appointed home away from home; you will be glad you did!

Spacious, convenient, and so cute!!!A Place At The Beach is always a solid choice and Lorna Dune is a gem! Well appointed with everything the family needs, beautiful sunrises, convenient access to the beach AND near the only elevator in the building (every dad that hauls the support equipment and moms carrying tired children will be grateful!!). Ample space in this unit as opposed to the some others. Host was very sweet and helpful! We will definitely plan a return trip to Lorna Dune.

Great place!

This is our second year staying in this condo and we loved it! The kids LOVE the pool and we love the easy access to the elevator. We had three adults and two children and we were all comfortable in the condo.

We had an amazing stay!!!! The place is beautiful!! Location is perfect in the complex near the stairs or elevator. You can’t ask for more! Balcony that looks at the ocean a fun pool to swim in! The Girls LOVE staying here! Making memories each year! We LOVE “A Place at the Beach”!!!

Our stay was amazing overall! We loved the host's little notes around the condo with tips on how to work certain appliances, etc.The amenities were great and very easy to use! The elevator was out when we left which was a bit unfortunate being on the 3rd floor but, it happens! The only note that I'd really have won't be relvant for most people but, my wife is very sensitive to fragrance so, the laundry detergent smell on the sheets was a bit strong for her but, after a few days she ended up alright- just a potential thought for the future. Communication with our host was so easy too which definitely helped ease any worries we may have had. We would 100% stay at Lorna Dune again!

Weekend fishing trip

The place was great. My son and I stayed there while away for a weekend fishing trip. We had to change weekends at the last minute and Victoria was very accommodating and flexible. Condo was clean, easy to access and perfect for our needs.

Always a 5 Star Stay

This is our 4th year staying here and we can’t wait to book again for next year. Always clean, comfortable, and the communication is great! The room is convenient to the elevator, pools, and beach. We will be back again next year!

The location is great, with easy beach and pool access. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. We had plenty of room with four people. The host was responsive and communicated instructions well in advance. We were able to check-in easily after hours. This will be our go-to place for beach trips!

Hi, my name is Victoria and this is my husband, Dennis! I'm from North Carolina and I've been vacationing in the Atlantic Beach area for all of my adult life. When my daughter, Lorna, was very young I decided to invest in a condo at our favorite resort, A Place At The Beach III. I have never regretted this decision; my family has enjoyed our home away from home so very much. Great memories, wonderful times!

A Place at the Beach III has the best amenities of any resort on the Crystal Coast. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the beach is wide and all you could ask for. There are countless options if you want something different to do or see, but there is still a hometown feel to the area. This resort is family friendly with security on-site.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The condo is my pride and joy! It has been completely renovated and updated. There are many fine restaurants and things to do in the area. I particularly enjoy the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and visiting Fort Macon. Such beautiful views! My husband loves to fish in the surf at Fort Macon. Beaufort is a lovely little historic town to poke around in to see the sights and eat great seafood and ice cream. A chartered boat ride to Shackleford banks to see the wild ponies is always a highlight. The list goes on...
