Nice spacious house in a great location

The description of the house fits perfectly to the actual situation. The house was clean, well-maintained and we were warmly welcomed by the owner family. The pool was very nice and good for even smaller children. The area and proximity to Nice was ideal for a familiy vacation.

Very comfortable villa situated in idyllic setting within easy reach of traditional local hillside villages. Roomy accommodation offered plenty of flexibility - pool, large patio and barbecue area were perfect for relaxed family stay. Eric's advice about local points of interest and prompt delivery of a corkscrew were very much appreciated :)

Côte d'Azur without the hassle

Our family of six - teenagers, parents and grandparents - spent a week in this lovely home. Located near Nice but up in the hills west of the city, it is perfect! You do have to have a car. We loved the huge, well-equipped kitchen and the pool when we were at the villa and the availability to get everywhere when we weren't. We visited Nice, Cannes, Vence, Monaco, the Gorge du Verdon, Eze-Village and the National Museum of Sport (a very nice surprise), all of which were easy to get to. Nearby are a variety of restaurants for the days we didn't want to cook. The location of the villa is great - views out over the valley, completely safe and secure. It's the perfect spot from which to explore the region of the Riviera. Thank you for keeping everything in tip-top shape.

Bad maintanance of villa

No investment done in kitchen for a long time. Mugs, drink glasses, plates etc. Etc.: a variety of rubbish collected throughout many years. The kitchen itself - basic / basic from when it was new some 10 years ago - should have been replaced years ago. The third shower room has never been finished with tiling, water hose leaks. It is a complete kacknif maintanance and defenitely not worth the money. Such a pitty, the villa itself has potential.

This was a great vacation, and a beautiful house.

In quiet and beautiful surroundings we enjoyed two weeks in this house that was perfect for two families with small children. All the kids wanted to do was to play in the pool:) the supermarket was close by, and it was a good kitchen and barbeque to make nice meals. Dette var en helt fabelaktig ferie, vi storkoste oss, store og små i dette nydelig huset med flott utsikt å avslappende uteområdet. Det var veldig fint at hele uteområdet var inngjerdet med gjerde, hekk og port med automatisk port åpner. Dette gjorde det lett for oss med små barn. Bassenget var også utstyrt med en alarm som måtte slås av før man kunne bade, det var en fin måte og vite at ingen kunne falle i bassenget uten at alarmen ville gå av. Man må ha bil for å kunne leie huset, da det ligge oppe på en høyde 25-30 min fra NICE med utsikt helt til sjøen og flyplassen. Ellers vil jeg bare si at det annbefales å ta turen til dette området, helt nydelig!

villa très spacieuse

Le logement est très spacieux, certaines pièces ont été mises au goût du jour ce qui est très agréable. Par contre un petit bémol pour la cuisine (qui est très bien dans son concept) que nous avons trouvé très sale à l'intérieur des tiroirs (le propriétaire laissant à la charge du locataire le ménage de la cuisine), donc à revoir car nous n'avons pas tous la même vison du ménage. Egalement manque 1 toasteur, lave-vaisselle ne lave pas et frigidaire manque des tiroirs congélation et la barre frigo pour retenir les bouteilles. Vaisselle vétuste et mal adaptée (je pense que les locataires n'en prennent pas soin) mais cela serait à repenser). Je ne jette pas la pierre mais une villa avec un tel potentiel devrait être valorisée .Très bon séjour néanmoins. Propriétaire très sympathique.

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem fantastischen Blick

Tolles und sehr geräumiges Haus. Man schaut auf Nizza und kann in der Ferne das Meer sehen. Sehr schönes eingezäuntes Grundstück, wo unser Hund sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt hat. Der Pool und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Eine riesige Markise bietet einen super Sonnenschutz. In der Umgebung sehr schöne kleine Orte, wo man toll Essen gehen kann. Der Vermieter Eric ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und absolut zuverlässig. Immer gerne wieder.

Tres bon séjour

Ferienhaus in Gattières

Das Ferienhaus entsprach genau dem des Prospekt. Der Vermieter Eric ist ein sehr freundlicher Mann, der uns gute Tips zu Ausflügen gegeben hat. Das Wetter, das Haus, der Pool, die Umgebung waren toll.

Flott utsikt, grei beliggenhet men møtte ikkje helt forventningene.

Beliggenheten og utsikten fra huset var utmerket. Klargjøringen av huset var skuffende. Vi ble møtt av et dårlig rengjort hus og basseng. Kunne med fordel ha gått i gjennom kjøkkenutstyr og byttet ut alt som var knust og ødelagt.Det var generelt dårlig rengjøring som førte til at det første vi gjorde var å vaske , spesielt siden vi hadde to babyer med oss. Blandt annet gammelt såpestykke i dusjen og skittent service. Sett bort fra dette var huset greit men møtte ikkje heilt våre forventninger.

Pas à la hauteur

Globalement pas à la hauteur de nos espérances, famille avec 2 enfants de 4 mois et 7 ans nous pensions passer une semaine confortable en se fiant aux commentaires mais sans avoir réalisé que ces avis dataient de 2010... depuis la maison est dans un état qui ne correspond pas au tarif. A l'arrivée par 30°même pas une bouteille d'eau. Propriétaires absents et non joignables par téléphone à notre arrivée. Points forts: calme ,maison spacieuse et piscine agréable. Points faibles: très forte odeur de renfermé, ménage douteux, literie de mauvaise qualité, coupures de courant avec impossibilité de rentrer dans la maison (portail électrique ) pendant 30mn, loin des plages Nice avec beaucoup de virages. Seule réponse du propriétaire de rembourser le séjour en partant en soirée avec les enfants... il est evident que nous ne pouvions pas trouver une location dans la soirée... La maison qui semble louée très facilement ne bénéficie pas de l'entretien nécessaire et aucune amélioration n'est envisagée (manque la moitié des poignets de porte, coin barbecue sale,invasion de fourmis sur la terrasse...) Je ne conseillerai pas cette location au niveau du rapport qualité /prix.

Magnifique séjour entre couples et familles d'amis

Venus à Nice pour le mariage d'amis, nous étions un groupe de 8 adultes et trois jeunes enfants (entre un an et demi et trois ans et demi). La maison est extrêmement spacieuse, toute équipée, impeccable...nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons passé un séjour de rêve!!! Le voisinage est calme, la vue splendide, la piscine o combien rafraîchissante, petit barbecue, jeux pour les enfants... vraiment, nous n'avons manqué de rien! Le propriétaire est super sympa et il a toujours répondu très rapidement à toutes nos interrogations pratiques pour préparer notre voyage. Bref, nous sommes ravis!!! Seuls (et minuscules) détails: ce serait génial d'avoir l'un ou l'autre miroir en plus dans les chambres et des petites poubelles dans les toilettes/salles de bain. Sans vouloir tomber dans le cliché "remarques de filles", bien entendu ;-) mille fois merci pour votre accueil à Gattieres, monsieur Feneon!

Wir waren zu acht im Alter von 14 bis 81 als Familie unterwegs und haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. es gibz genug Platz für Rückzug und viel mehr für Gemeinsamkeit.

Very nice home. In a good location

We had a good time. We stayed there in mid October, the children swam in the pool. some resturants are closed this time of year....but we still found lots.

Paradise

We stayed here for 10 days, 3 couples. The villa is amazing, so spacious with everything you could want. The pool is lovely and the views are amazing, especially from the balconies outside the bedrooms. It is also close to everything you would want to do and see (with the use of a car). Eric is on hand for any advice you want and gives great ideas of places to go and things to do. The villa is located in a lovely little village, we bbqd a lot using the bbq and the pool and the pool area was just lovely. The whole villa was also so clean and we just couldn't fault a thing. We would definitely recommend this villa, it is a slice of paradise! Thank you Eric and family, we had a lovely time.

So muss Urlaub sein

vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub. Es war alles perfekt. Der Vermieter Eric ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und absolut zuverlässig - herzlicher Empfang mit ausführlicher Führung durch das Haus - Ausflugsvorschläge in der Umgebung mit Skizze - Rasen mehrfach gemäht - Poolreinigung - Kaution wurde noch an unserem Abreisetag zurückerstattet Das Haus lockte uns ( 5 Erwachsene, 2 kleine Kinder) ein großes WOW aus dem Mund. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus selber ist sehr geräumig und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut ( auch Küchenutensilien und vor allem Teller und Besteck in mind. doppelter Ausführung). Die Aussenanlagen sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und die Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein ( großer Gartentisch mit mind. 8 Stühlen sowie mind. 6 Liegen). Die Kinder (2 und 4 Jahre) aber natürlich auch die Erwachsenen hatten viel Spass in dem tollen Pool - mit Alarmanlage für Kinder!!! - das ist einfach obere Sternenklasse. Wir können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen und würden selber dort jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen. Nochmals vielen Dank an Eric für die tolle Zeit in seinem Haus.

great place to be

We had a fantastic two weeks here. Beautifully kept house with great views out to sea. Nice is not far but you will need a car. Easy reach of Vence and lovely perched villages

An excellent French Experience

Pictures do not do it justice. Owners were attentive with a great welcome and a nice bottle of wine from Provence. It was wonderful to be away from it all... yet close to major tourist attractions. Gattiers is a wonderful city ; Vence was amazing... so many few villages with great eateries to fit all budgets. It was great to head home and enjoy the great comforts of a beautifully maintained home. We were away in Europe for a month... Being in Nice and this home was the high-light of the trip. ( We also like Lake como.. hated the jungle/zoo of Paris/ enjoyed Amsterdam... but Nice topped it all). Highly recommend and we are already thinking of new year with recommendations to our friends. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! A Bientot!
