Best suited for two adults and two small children.This one bedroom cabin offers a king size Tempurpedic mattress in the bedroom and queen sofa in the living area.

Hot tub for two on screened porch, fiber-optic fireplace, full-size kitchen includes stove, refrigerator and microwave as well as cooking utensils.

Cable flat screen TV, WiFi and heating/air conditioning provided. This cabin is perfect for the 'outdoorsy' type!

Located in the heart of Maggie Valley on Soco Road, near all the major restaurants and attractions.

We had an awesome stay. Cabin is close to everything, easy to locate, clean, all needed essentials. Easy parking. Comfy couch and bed. Hot tub was clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!This is by no means a compliant because everything was wonderful...there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and air conditioning in living room...I am a hot sleeper and I bought a fan to use in bedroom...so just take a fan with you if you like it extra cool while sleeping:) River close by.

Weekend getaway

This was a weekend getaway for me and my husband without our kid. It was very relaxing and clean. The hot tub is the perfect size for 2. As some have mentioned it is slightly outdated mainly with appliances but otherwise perfect. It is in a perfect location in Maggie Valley. With Cherokee and Asheville both being about 20-30 minutes away. Overall, a perfect getaway.

Exceptional

We needed a weekend to hide. What a wonderful place to go. Just large enough to accommodate the two of us and relaxing to sit in the hot tub and listen to the rain. Very clean and right in a quiet spot off Soco Rd. It’s on my short list of our next get away trip.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed it! Some things that were a bit frustration was that the cabinet doors need to be tightened! And wasn’t left anything to wash dishes with not did detergent!

Unimpressed

The cabin was cute and as advertised. However, the hot tub was full of hair so we were unable to use or enjoy it and the water in the shower would not get warm. We ended up coming home after one night of our planned trip.

Pictures not accurate of actual property

Unfortunately I have to give a very negative review for this property. It was not clean and rusted refrigerator, kitchen chairs broken and shower. Walls water damaged. Only thing was it was close to shops but other than that for the price of this property found many others lower price and clean. Reached out to home owner and emailed pictures of concerns and was told thank you for letting me know. I will let our housekeeper know.

Little House on the Big Road

Cute little cabin, very outdated and needs a little TLC but a great value and provided us all we needed. We had a minor issue with the toilet but the manager was super responsive and no harm done. Our only concern was how dark it was when we arrived. We had trouble getting in because there were no outdoor lights and it was tricky to find the light switches when we got inside- we used our cell phone flash light. A motion-censored outdoor light would be incredibly helpful. Bed was very comfortable- hot tub is clean and nice- but the buttons are worn off so we didn't know exactly what we were pushing and there is no light in that part of the porch. Overall- very good stay and we will be back- with a flashlight!

Good for couples

It was a cute cottage. The cottage was clean and had adequate provisions (it did only have the one trash bag, as others noted, so just take an extra one, or use a shopping bag - there were so many other comments about this I had to look to see for myself but we only needed the one :). Very close to other cottages, and as others said, the parking was tight. There is minimal storage and places to even lay an item down, due to the many "sit-arounds", so be prepared to pack light. I got confused as to how to get on the internet and the owner answered as soon as I called and that was worked out quickly. The hot-tub was nice and worked wonderfully - even in the single digit weather we had during our stay. And, the heater worked great to heat the entire cabin. It is s short ride to the ski area, about 35 minutes over the mountain to Cherokee, and about 45 minutes to Ashville on crowded interstates. It is about a 15 walk to Legends, which has entertainment most nights of the week, and which I highly recommend for fun and food. I would stay again, but it is cramped if you have more than two persons.
