With just 10 minutes by car you can reach the suggestive Terme di Pré-Saint-Didier.
Just a few numbers to describe La Thuile in winter: 2 countries with one ticket, 37 lifts, 74 slopes 'of all colors' for a total of 150 km. The cross-country trails (few) are 50 m from the apartment building.
Numerous paths start from the center of the village and reach wonderful places in the summer. Some examples: the Deffeyes refuge at the foot of the Rutor glacier, the valleys of the Orgère and Chavanne (view of Mont Blanc), Monte Belvedere, the Belvedere d'Arpy (balcony on the Bianco chain).
La Thuile is a paradise for mountain bikers: 220 km of trails between Italy and France.

There are numerous and different restaurants: the best is the restaurant of the Chalet Eden biohôtel in the pine forest, which offers cuisine with organic products (Le coq au vin Frazione Villaret 74 tel. 0165. 88. 50. 50); cheaper and always in the pine forest, the Taverna Coppapan, whose card changes weekly (Frazione Villaret 68); under the Taverna you will find the Pizzeria Le Dahu, with a wood oven; a stone's throw from home, La Fordze serves traditional Aosta Valley cuisine (Fraction Bathieu 28 tel. 0165. 88. 31. 21).
