Dunes Pointe is less than four blocks from the ocean, built overlooking a quiet salt marsh and the prestigious Dunes Golf Club. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo will sleep 4. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with standard appliances and everything you need to feel right at home. This beautiful tucked away community will keep your price down. Large outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, tennis courts and an area for picnicking and grilling! No need to worry about the laundry and the mountains of towels that seem to multiply, as this unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience. Dunes Pointe is on the north end of Myrtle Beach, but centrally located to most area attractions including shows, dining and outlet shopping. When you finish with your day, you can plan to relax on the screened porch overlooking the woods and enjoy ocean and marsh breezes. As much as you love your pets, you'll have to make other plans for them as this is a humans-only (no pet) condo. There are nearby reputable boarding kennels and we'll be happy to furnish that information for you upon request. This is a fabulous unit if you want to be very close to the ocean, while watching the budget. Non-smoking, of course. Please note there is no elevator in this building.

Great location , sub par accommodation

The location of this property was as expected and very good if you want to be close to the beach and far enough away from the chaos! The condo is fine but be aware that it is very basic accommodation. No frills for sure. Equipped but only just. The condo is dated and could use some TLC . It was clean enough but it’s the little things- no sheets, which we knew, one sharp knife in the kitchen, very few utensils. Biggest issue was that there was no access to a beach cabana as stated in the listing - so be prepared to walk 1/2 mile to the beach or pay for parking if can find it. The pool was locked and when I asked the residents there I was told it was open certain hours when there was a volunteer to supervise . I am sure this is a covid thing but the listing should be updated to accurately describe the amenities. Indoor pool was closed, tennis courts where not really usable due to plant overgrowth. It’s not that we had a horrible week but it was not as described.

Loved it here!

The only thing I didn't enjoy was that I was told I could not have my dogs, yet everyone there had dogs. And it seemed like we were renting the maintenance guy's apartment, with the smelly comforters. Other than that, we loved it!

Outdated and dirty

The condo was so outdated and dirty! The first night we got there at 7:30pm we had a hard time finding the office to get the key and had to drive 20 minutes back to the condo after passing it to get to the office. The dryer didn't work so we left a message which is what the paperwork said to do, after calling for 2 days finally someone called and said we should have called a number from the text! ok not confusing... The condo had so many things wrong with it, the back porch had green mold everywhere and one of the electrical covers was off which to me would have been a fire hazard. The shower curtain was so dirty we left it out and keep a towel down for the water and oh the bath tub had a crack in it! The home owners closed down the pool for 2 days because of a storm which I understand the first day but not the next day. The storm had passed and I felt like the only reason the pool wasn't open was they didn't have anyone to open it, And the key situation! Wow to have to use a key to get in and out of a pool is ridiculous. Update to a key pad come on!!! I probably would never stay with this property or company that is renting it out. And if I was the owner I would consider updating some ideas to the 20th century.

Great location but needs some TLC

The location of the condo was great. Easy access to restaurants, ocean and shopping. The condo itself was in need of maintenance issues. There is a long hallway to get to the door. The overhead light was burned out. We had to use our flashlight on phone to see the lock. The dryer didn't work because the belt was broken. We found out this had been reported by precious renter and was never fixed. The bedroom is very bright while trying to sleep because the hallway lights shine in the windows. Room darkening shades would help. Very few kitchen utensils. The pool was very enjoyable. The condo met out needs just average.

Best girls weekend ever!

The pool,the location,the neignborhood, nearness to all out needs, everything within walking distance (including the ocean . Onsight needs addressed immediately. Great family location. The lake was a plus and finding our way from this location to other areas was a cinch! We loved it!
