You will find The Eagle's Nest in Bowser, B.C. nestled among majestic fir and cedar trees. Ā This fully equipped, two bedroom cottage offers a peaceful retreat from city life. Ā The Ā vaulted Ā ceilings, hardwood flooring and wood stove provide comfort and reflect the natural surroundings of the area.Ā  The basement of the cottage allows you to conveniently store your supplies indoors and also serves as a play area for children on rainy days.

Enjoy a panoramic ocean view of Denman, Hornby and Chrome Islands from the deck or bring your beach shoes and spend your days strolling and exploring the natural rocky beach. Ā There is a large sandy play area for the children and evening fires can be enjoyed in the two fire pits. Wildlife abounds here, so visits from deer and sightings of eagles are to be anticipated.

Eagle's Nest is the perfect place to use as a home base to explore this section of Vancouver Island. Ā A half hour drive will take you to Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Coombs, Horne Lake Caves, Courtenay and other attractions. Ā Numerous walking trails are found everywhere. Ā Golfers can enjoy the many first class golf courses in the area and Mt. Washington, which is an hour away, offers skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking and hiking trails. Ā For an all day outing, Long Beach is an amazing destination. Ā If boating is your passion, there is easy access to a boat launch in Deep Bay The Unit No-18. Ā 

Within walking distance of the cottage, you can find a variety of shops (grocery, liquor, coffee shop, hardware etc.) to replenish your supplies. I had the most amazing stay over a few months this winter! Georgene & Len were so sweet & the house is simply everything I could'vehoped for & more. The location, views, area, beach access... I can't say enough about it- an absolute dream. The pictures don't do it justice. I would (and probably will) stay again, in a heartbeat!

Excellent location with a beautiful tree and ocean view. Felt cozy but with all the creature comforts you could want (full kitchen, living room with TV, good rooms for parents and kids, laundry machines). Would recommend to anyone wanting to detach and be in nature/by the sea.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is ocean-front, with gorgeous views of the sea from the kitchen, living room, and balcony. The cabin was well stocked with thoughtful details, including helpful handwritten notes. It was very clean, well equipped, and well maintained. The location was peaceful and quiet. Comfortable home in a perfect location

From start to finish this was a very positive experience. The owners are amazing and do everything to make their renters feel at home. The home has a beautiful view of the beach and is a short drive from many amenities including groceries and restaurants. Highly recommended. Weā€™ll be back!

Beautiful location

Imagine sitting on a balcony overlooking the ocean and hearing the waves while watching eagles soar overhead. This two level cottage is one of about 18 cottages in Seacroft Resort. The cottage is very cozy, impeccably clean, and nicely decorated and has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Getting to the beach is a short walk and the view is gorgeous. It is perfectly located and easy to get to Qualicum, Coombs, Long Beach, and Courtenay.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home. We loved everything about it. The view is spectacular and we saw many seals and otters. We enjoyed exploring the many beaches and forest walks on the island, then coming back and playing Spike Ball and volleyball on your lovely big grassy area. We also did a day trip to Tofino. Everything we needed was available for us (lots of cooking supplies, towels, games, books, TV, movies) and we felt right at home. We really did not want to leave! Thank you again for sharing your lovely place with us!
