We relocated to April Sound Conroe area in April of 2015 because of a job transfer to The Woodlands. We liked it so much we decided to build our retirement home here in the forest. Lake Conroe is located and hour north of Houston and 200 miles south of Dallas on I-45. It is convenient for drive trips coming from Texas and Louisiana. We would love to share our great lake life with you. We are also close to Sam Houston National Forest., Davy Crockett National Forest ust north of us , and not far from Angelina National Forest. Come enjoy the lakes and forest of Texas. We are 30 minutes from The Woodlands =, Texas with all of its entertainment and shopping venues. We are on the west side of Lake Conroe, where all the restaurant and entertainment venues nearby. Enjoy water craft activities on the lake, forest activities, or stay at a peaceful waterfront and tenure 30 minutes to The Woodlands for Cynthia Woods Pavilion, premiere shop pint. Business travel?
