Relaxed Oceanfront home on quiet palm fringed Beach with large Oceanfront patio

The house is beachfront and located on the quiet, sunny, and swimable Turtle Beach in the safe and charming residential area of Mar Azul, in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. The location, views, and tropical ocean breezes are amazing. You can enjoy the sound of the crashing waves, even from inside the house. The large oceanfront patio was created as a second 'living room ' along the beach.

The house is a 3 bedroom/1 bath, which comfortably sleeps 6 people. There are 2 queen beds, and 1 full. Bath towels, beach towels and bed linens are included. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, furnished dining room, and living room w/ a large screen TV for web-streaming services and DVD player including an assortment of movies (mostly kid friendly). All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioners.

The beach is great for fishing, snorkeling, sun bathing, and beach-combing. When the waves are up there are 2 advanced level surfing waves out front. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The neighborhood and beach is very family friendly with several shallow tide pools for families to explore. The neighborhood as 2 great parks within a few blocks.
Relax watching the surf and the sunset from the porch and patio.

**Laundry facilities on site are available for extended stay guests (2 weeks or more) only.
***Pets are allowed with preapproval only. $50 additional cleaning fee for pets. Some pets may also require an additional refundable (as long as no damage is done) deposit.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was great to be right by the ocean, and we enjoyed some decent snorkeling right from the beach. Swimming is limited to a couple of small sheltered areas, but it was enough to get wet and there are better swimming areas a drive away. The neighbors were great and friendly. The house was modest, but fine. We brought a few plastic chairs outside so we could enjoy the outdoors better. Note that at the time of our stay the laundry machines were only available to those staying two weeks. We explored the town a little bit and everyone we met was super friendly.

We had the most memorable stay at the Turtle house. Renee, the host was very accommodating and responsive. She gave us many recommendations as well and we had clear instructions to get us there and access the house. Everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly. The location is near many stores, restaurants, and activities. The view was amazing! We look forward to coming back.

Amazing Views and Sounds

Morning, Day and Night. The views are great right from the porch. A quick hop onto the beach allows you to sit with your feet in the water and just relax.

Another awesome stay!

Awsome Third stay at Sea Turtle

This was our third stay at Sea Turtle! It has an excellent location! Right on the beach with restaurants and shopping nearby. House is clean and fully appointed. We feel very safe in the neighborhood. Owner and housekeeper are both great.

Great Laid-back Vacation

Three retired ladies- we stayed 6 nights and loved every day of our trip. We wanted a quiet place away from San Juan and we ,found it here. Three bedrooms with full/queen size beds, nice kitchen and living room area. We would have breakfast on the front porch watching the waves roll onto the beach in front of us. We have already discussed staying here again.

Birthday retreat!

The house is centrally located and we found we were able to visit many places from this location reaching within an hour or less most sites being only 30 to 40 min drive. Food is abundant and close by and people are friendly. There are supermarkets, panederias, dollar stores etc. And then there is the ocean! It is wonderful, you can hear the waves, go outside and sit on the bench with your coffee or head across the street and sit on a rock or on the picnic bench if its available. Delightful!

Family vacation

The location was perfect for me. My family with grand children were staying nearby and we could walk to the beach together. The view from the front porch is lovely and it is great spot for morning coffee. Renee was very responsive. She gave clear directions and good suggestions for nearby attractions.

Amazing view of the ocean!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Sea Turtle. Although the area can get loud in the evenings due to the locals that live in the area, it didn’t bother us at all. The house is very comfortable and the view of the ocean is amazing. It’s near many restaurants and depending on which beach you’d like to visit on the northwest section, it’s not a long drive. Highly recommend for small families.

Beautiful beachfront

There are no words for the experience. The house and the beach view and the access to the view is just, AMAZING. The locals and the neighbors are so friendly. The host was just amazing, she alway checked on us and promptly communicated if we needed anything. My family and I can't wait to come back.

We loved the views and neighborhood

It’s so nice to know that all you need It’s right there the beach at your Front steep super Walmart and Sam’s club less than five minutes away, food and everything you will need it’s there my. Kids love to be able to get in the water right from home this it’s a trip we are definitely looking forward to go back next year And Renee was so nice and helpful thanks for everything Renne God Bless you.

Perfect for our requirement.

We perform work in Arecibo each year and this house worked great for me and my employees. The view was very nice. I am sure before the hurricane based on the pictures that the view was a lot better but that cannot be held against the property owner. The view is obstructed at this time by a big mound of sand lining the entire side of the beach across the road. That mound of sand though was up against every one of the houses so they have done a good job of trying to recover from the hurricane. The house was very clean inside and worked perfect for us. The only thing I would recommend to the property owner was at some time to maybe replace the couches in the living room as it does have signs of wear. We had a few issues when we first arrived with the TV with the remote but I was able to get it reprogrammed and working for the property owner. The property owner was very easy to work with and did accommodate our needs for needing to use a washer and dryer which we really appreciated.

When I saw this amazing beachside community I knew instantly I wanted to be a part of it. It took me 2 years to buy my house, and it was worth the wait. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, the peaceful vibe and the gorgeous sunsets make this a special place. Since then I have come to love the neighbors, the vibe and the crashing sound of the waves.

Very few vacation homes in the area have the complete oceanfront view offered by the Sea Turtle. This home also offers internet, Hot water and air conditioning (bedrooms), things some traveler take for granted but are not always offered. For extended stays, housekeeping services and laundry facilities can be added.
