Countryside Villa inside the Quito Metropolitan area on 8 acres of land just two miles south of the equator in the Middle of the World!!! Plenty of space outdoors, great for children and adults. The amenities include a swimming pool, pool table, table tennis, darts board, a playground, a gym, and volleyball and basketball courts. The master bedroom upstairs has a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, the three mid-sized bedrooms downstairs have their own bathrooms. Internet service is available, and cable TV is available upon request. Cooking, cleaning and transportation service can be arranged with the villa manager.

Excellent place

This is a very nice place. Pedro was also a great person to meet and provided help arranging transportation and giving advice on guides. This would even work for those that can not speak Spanish as Pedro can provide assistance in that regard. It is highly recommended.

Oasis

After traveling non-stop throughout Ecuador, we stayed at the Villa for some relaxation and visiting with Ecuadorian relatives. The Villa was perfect, relaxing but with enough entertainment to keep everyone happy. Ernesto was great taking care of any of our needs while at the property as well as calling cabs, etc. Overall we had a great time at the Villa and would recommend it to anyone interested in this type of property.

Amazing!

This was one of my favorite places to ever stay. The home was so clean and very well depicted in the photos and description. The beds were comfortable and the living areas were more than large enough! There was so much to do right on the property so if your desire is to have relax you do not have to leave the property. If you want to see the sights and visit local attractions there is more to do than imagined. The owners were so helpful and kind from the first inquiry to our return home. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing house with amazing views

We were expecting beautiful views based on the pictures but I was in awe of the beauty that surrounded the property. There was such a the relaxed atmosphere within the property and we did have a great time exploring the surrounding area and lounging on the hammocks. My only regret is that we spent so much time getting to know Ecuador that we didn't have time for the pool. The house itself was very nice and clean and was very comfortable for our group of nine. I highly recommend this property for any group or family that wants to take in the gorgeous sights Quito has to offer or anyone that wants to kick back and relax during their vacation.

Wonderful Private Villa

The house was even more than we had expected. Beautiful architecture!! Tile and custom wood work throughout. Plenty of space, we only had six people. Lots of outside patio, veranda spaces. Awesome pool, and never ending landscaping. Very, very clean and well maintained. Did not feel like a rental but like some one home because of the comftable feel and care. The owner Pablo was awesome. Informative and available to help with questions and ideas on things to do. He was funny and super easy. Was so helpful that we felt instant friendship with him. We met his family, his wife and daughter super friendly. We had no problems whatsoever with anything!!! Highly recommend. Ecuador was very safe, people super friendly. Weather was mild. Lots of things to do close to the house. We went horseback riding in an amazing valley, went zip lining, hiking, swimming in waterfall within 30 min to a couple of hours from the house. Of course the Center of the World was right around the corner. We could see the monument from the property. Also have to go to the Amazon jungle- A must see!! Loved our entire experience!!

Simply excellent!

We stayed at Finca Analia for 4 nights. Everything was impeccable. The house and the grounds are even more impressive than in the pictures. It was more than enough space for our family of 5 yet it felt cosy and comfortable. It’s a good location for day trips to Quito, Pululahua crater, Mindo, Otavalo, Cayambe, etc (we had a rental car so I can’t speak for other modes of transportation). The beds are super comfortable and despite being relatively close to a very busy street, it was very quiet. The kitchen has everything you need. We had breakfast and dinner every day and appreciated simple things you don’t always get in rental properties (e.g., good quality knives, a blender for making smoothies, serving bowls). Check in and communication with the owner and property manager were quick and easy. Both speak English. There is also a grounds keeper, Ernesto, who will take care of anything you need (setting up the hammocks, the ping pong table, BBQ, etc.). He even washed our car twice before we were even up in the morning! If you don’t speak Spanish, he will connect with the property manager if he needs a translator. We managed with gestures and a few words in Spanish. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely Incredible....I wish we were still there....

My family and I enjoyed a great week at this beautiful villa and we are looking forward to going back next time we are in Quito. I have always loved Spanish style homes and was excited to get to enjoy the décor for a whole week. The woodwork and intricate tile floors are very well maintained which really made it feel like home. (as did the high thread count sheets and lovely large fluffy towels) The house sleeps 9 comfortably and a few more can be added with pull out sofas that are available in the home. The furniture is nice, kitchen was perfect and stocked with the essentials (coffee, sugar, spices ect). The pool was very clean without a chlorine smell and we swam just about every day. My five year old daughter loved the little kids "park" that included a playhouse, swing, monkey bars, mini trampoline and more. There were two soccer fields, basketball, ping pong and a volleyball court....along with all the balls to play. The property is very well landscaped with a variety of desert plants towards the perimeter and lusher flowering plants closer to the houses. I wish I could add some photos to this review...I have never seen a 10ft. pointsetta tree. On Kaui the pointsetta grow wild but I never saw anything over 4ft. There is a 40ft. hedge of sedum....I can't imagine how long it has been growing and it is just wow. Buganvilia in purple, orange and pink framing the pool...I could go on and on. All I can say is enjoy. The property exceeded our expectations and the property manager was there to make sure we were happy and comfortable. What more could you want? I just hope it won't get so popular we can't get a reservation next time we are in town.

A welcome escape!

After some exciting but somewhat tiring Ecuadorian travel we stayed here for a few days for some much needed downtime. There were four of us staying (2 adults, 2 teens) and we really enjoyed this wonderful property. Pedro, the property manager was immensely helpful and accommodating. He speaks fluent English and pointed us towards the best places to buy groceries. He and his family were all very helpful (the rental property and their house both lie on the same compound). Thanks so much for making this a pleasant stay. The house was spacious and tidy. There would be plenty of space for a larger group. The kitchen is pretty well-equipped, and the host/property manager provides filtered water for drinking. The amenities on the property were all welcome. The pool looked inviting, but the weather was a little cool to swim. Basketball and table tennis were favorites, as were the hammocks. The pool table isn't in the best shape, but we still had plenty of fun. WIFI is nice and fast, but signal strength varies based on where you are in the house. All, in all, it was a very nice place to stay.

San Antonio de Pichincha

I've summarized below the 4 or 5 key things I look for in a rental and what we thought of this particular home... Property / Large and beautiful grounds that were very well maintained with wonderful flora and fauna to enjoy. Decks and patios surrounded the home and was peaceful and enjoyable to relax and enjoy an outside meal or read or just unwind. Enjoying a cup of Ecuadorian coffee and just catching up and talking with my son on the back patio overlooking the grounds first thing in the morning or late afternoon after exploring the surrounding popular destinations was a simple but memorable experience. Home / Accommodations: Well appointed / large kitchen with eat in kitchen with views of the grounds / and easy access to wrap around deck. Nicely furnished home including nice sized bedrooms, especially the master suite! A great family retreat both indoors and out. Service / Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Co-Host on property went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & at home. In fact, as great as everything else was, that’s what we’ll always remember is feeling we were just extended family staying at a relative’s home. Not sure If that is common Ecuadorian hospitality or this particular Host cares more since it is a family estate. Regardless, these Hosts were professional, caring and extremely helpful. Location - Area / Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) location was a perfect base in order to explore all the amazing regions of Ecuador. Value / Our family loves to travel and we frequently utilize homes, villas, or condos for our vacations and business trips and the value received for our stay at San Antonio de Pichincha was by far the most economical especially when you consider the sizable home, the wonderful grounds, the proximity to attractions and local areas, and of course the excellent service and caretaking. Thank you!!!

An oasis in Ecuador

We booked Pinchinca several months prior to our stay. The host was incredibly helpful with our stay and provided helpful information throughout. The home itself is beautiful…it is really a beautiful estate. Roomy, clean and a perfect family retreat and a perfect home base for excursions to visit places like Otavalo, Cotapaxi, central Quito and other landmarks. The on-site manager was always responsive and helpful with transportation, references for restaurants and other great info. We couldn’t have been happier and would highly recommend.

Beautiful Retreat in Quito

For our first trip to Ecuador, we were debating over whether to stay in the Quito or outside of Quito. After reading that the noise and traffic in Quito proper was a bit hectic, we--a family of four (but later three)--decided we prefer something a bit more serene. When we came across this listing, it seemed to be too good to be true, but it really was that good! The property is amazing, almost a tiny personal nature reserve. The hill behind the house can be hiked, but I only made it half way. There is plenty of open space to throw a football or frisbee. And you can just walk the grounds with a cup of coffee, like we did on several mornings. As for the house itself, the photos are accurate. It was a pleasure to stay in a house that was built to be lived in, and not specifically as a rental. Having the master bedroom suite upstairs was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and master bath was spacious. I wish I had that bathroom in my house. The kitchen was also huge and very functional. A few more pots and pans would be needed if there was a very large family. The owners were / are fantastic hosts. There was excellent communication before and during our stay. Using WhatsApp, we were able to easily communicate and ask questions. The internet speed was quite good at the house, BTW. As for the down sides, it was sometimes difficult for Uber drivers to find the house. But once we found a good driver, that was no longer an issue. Also, being outside of the city, booking a tour would be a challenge because the pick up points are in the city. But the driver we found was a great tour guide as well. So the house being a bit outside of the city was not an issue for us. And from we saw of the city, we didn't mind being outside. Overall, a great stay and we would stay there again!

Wonderful house in San Antonio de Pichincha

My family and I (3 adults and 4 kids) stayed in the villa for one full week and truly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very helpful before, and during, our stay—they answered all of our questions, organized excursions and transportation for us. The house is wonderful, spacious and clean The location is splendid, safe and nicely located with easy access to stores and restaurants. We had the pleasure to meet and discuss with the hosts which made our stay even more enjoyable. They were all very helpful and generous with their time.

This is going to sound like a paid commercial but it is not . . .

This place is amazing! From the spacious floor plan (my extended family of 12 stayed comfortably here) to the beautiful grounds complete with pool, basketball, ping pong and soccer, this was paradise on earth. The owner, Pedro, lives on site and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, interesting and memorable. This is a bit of a hike from the city life of Quito but well positoned for trips to Mindo, Otavalo, etc. I highly recommend!

Awesome

What a wonderful home for a large family like ours. 9 of us stayed for 12 days and loved it. It is a very comfortabl, well equipped home with everything you need. The pool was nice to have but a little to chilly to enjoy for our stay on March. The hosts and the concierge, Ernesto, were lovely people and so helpful. Pablo and Pedro couldn’t have been more gracious. We had a few issues with the stove and one light in the kitchen that our son was shocked by when he tried screwing in the light bulb that was not working but after that, we just didn’t mess with it! It was awesome having a washer and dryer for our group as well. We highly recommend this home!

It was a beautiful house and amazing service!

It was a beautiful hacienda more beautiful than the pictures! When we got there and Pablo and Ernesto were there to receive us, very nice people. The place is great for the large group, we were 8 adults and 3 children including little ones, it worked out perfect, there was plenty of space and of course the kids loved the playground! Beautiful sights every morning and so quiet as well, very relaxing. The place was very clean and comfortable. The group keeper, Ernesto was awesome! He helped us so much when it came to transportation, getting us a taxi every time we needed one! Totally recommend this hacienda, it exceeds the description, it is very well maintained, so close to the Mitad del Mundo and other attractions nearby, and the costumer service is definitely great! =)

Amazing Stay visiting Family in Quito!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. Ernesto and Pedro were there for our arrival which they made very smooth. We stayed in the house with 6 adults and 5 children. It was spacious and the kids went on hikes (where they found lemon and lime trees and climbed a mountain on the property), they swam in the pool every afternoon, rode their bikes and played all day. The adults BBQ'd, played pool, cards and just had a wonderful time cooking in the beautiful kitchen (Supermarket was a short drive away). We also spent some time in the gym in the morning and had a nice workout. It was near the city so we were able to go several times and our family who lives in Quito came to visit us daily. The new road to the airport made it very quick and easy to access too. We spent New Years in the house and had so much fun barbecuing, and burning the "años viejos" and fireworks at midnight in a large soccer field on the property. Ernesto was always available to assist with any questions and was very accommodating. Pedro and his family who live across the property are wonderful people and our kids had a great time playing with their younger daughter and dog. The beds were super comfortable, lots of pillows. We could of used extra towels for the pool, but we just washed them in the washing machines. There was plenty of hot water and the temperature in the home was always cool. We will would to stay there again next time we visit family in Quito. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Great place especially for larger group. Well kept and well maintained.

The pool is clean; nice and quiet location; very friendly and helpful property managers; everything clean and well kept.

Gorgeous, breathtaking, relaxing surroundings. Beautiful house inside and out

This was the most amazingly beautiful house I have ever stayed at. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Ernesto was so helpful with anything we needed. The scenery was beyond any other. Would definitely return!!!! Our group just had a fantastic time. The only thing I would have added were floaties for the pool!!!!! Thanks again for the wonderful experience

A gem of a place hidden between the middle of the world and heaven

I hope that if you have any doubts about renting this wonderful location hopefully this review will solidify your decision to rent. The property is surrounded by beautiful mountains the pictures do not do it justice on the website. In the morning you can wake up to the great sounds of the mountains and wildlife. The property has lushies amenities that are all kept up to date. It is great having a pool only a couple of feet away from the house. We were a family of 9 and felt we had more than enough room without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen is awesome and up to date, coffee maker, water purifier, with a french door opening to the porch that is opens up to the rear mountain view. If you are worried about support what I can tell you is that the combination of Pablo, and his brother Pedro in Ecuador you are never without a helping hand around. There is also a gentleman by the name of Ernesto that is always around and able to hail a cab, order a pizza, or give a restaurant recommendation. That being said my family did not require much assistance as we had visited Equador before but it was nice knowing that if we needed anything someone was always able to help. Will be back for sure.

An indescribable experience!!!

It will hard to describe the amazing experience we had in this vacations, I can just say that staying in this property was the biggest highlight of our trip!! Everything about it was amazing, from the moment we walked in we loved it...first thing we noticed was how clean it was!! Every single piece of decoration beside that it went perfect with the house style, there was not a single drop of dust. Everything was so perfectly clean and organized that it made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome. The owners and the gentleman who takes care of property (Ernesto) are extremely nice and helpful. Thank you both for letting us not only staying in your beautiful home but also for making our trip unforgettable. 100% recommend for anybody who want to experience something different than staying in a hotel...this house has an amazing swimming pool, pool table, ping pong table, soccer field, basketball half court, a park!! And an amazing kitchen that makes you feel like cooking and forget about a restaurant, the rooms were spectacular and as comfortable as you own bed, the location couldn’t be any better...just 2 minutes away from one of the biggest tourist and worldwide attraction, “La Mitad del Mundo” (the center of the world) zero latitude. Oh and the view!! Wow...what a view!! Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are visiting Quito!! I’m sure it will unforgettable also... Gracias Sr. Pedro, Sr. Pablo y Ernesto!! Hasta la próxima!!

Great Place at the Middle of the World

We really enjoyed staying at Finca Analia. It is a beautiful property with plenty of space. It fit our group of two families comfortably and it enabled us to explore Quito and the surrounding areas. Catching a bus into the city was very easy from the main road. Ernesto the caretaker was good to work with and he accommodated our late arrival the first night. We would definitely come back.

Pocket Picker

The property is very nice and everything it is proposed to be. However, once there, the resident agent picks your pocket with unreasonable charges: $40.00 dollars to go 5 miles for grocery, $100.00 for the half hour ride to or from the airport, day trips for which he is devoid of basic information. For perspective, you can take a cab from downtown Quito to the property for $10.00 dollars. Also, he is a hotrod driver which makes clients feel ill at ease when transported, rather than comfortable and safe. We would not return to this offering, nor recommend it to others.

Dear Dan, We apologize for not having fully met your transportation arrangement expectations. We are not responsible for any third party services recommended to our clients, including transportation, tours, and catering. All services recommended are not part of our villa rental agreement, and they are paid directly to the service providers. We limit our responsibility to recommending these services to our clients, keeping in mind their safety, comfort and cost. Our guests are free to take our advice, or to make their own arrangements for sightseeing and transportation at all times. This is the first time we receive a complaint for our third party transportation provider rates and driver. I have made them aware of your complaint, and they apologize for any wrong doing as far as the driving is concerned. In regards to the rates they have not been increased in the last two years. They are reasonable compared to similar service providers. Renting a large high end SUV with capacity for 8 people with leather seats and hiring a bilingual driver who is at your disposal cannot be compared to the local taxi rates. We will review and go over the rates and services of our third party transportation provider, and will also make it clear and more explicit to all our guests that they are free at all times to compare their rates to other providers. We take our guests reviews very seriously, and will be very proactive trying to make sure our guests have their expectations met. Great family stay at villa

After spending a week traveling in Ecuador, I stayed here for Christmas weekend with my wife and here family, who are from Ecuador. The owners and caretakers are fantastic and made us feel like we were friendly neighbors rather than guests. They even went as far as to let us borrow a Christmas tree with decorations for the holiday as well as a nice bottle of wine as a gift. The pictures on the website are very accurate and the home is well maintained. The activities, which include the pool, basketball, volleyball, pool table and ping pong table, kept us and the kids entertained. Our family enjoyed so many great memories during our short stay here and I guarantee we will be back again. Thank you again Pablo, Pedro, Tito and Tita.

I grew up in Quito, but left Ecuador when I was a teenager. My studies took me to Germany, Kansas and California. The last fifteen years I made Texas my home, and the property in the pictures will most likely be the home for my retirement years.

This property was passed down to us as part of our parent's inheritance. The property was initially bought by them in the late seventies, when the valley was still a rural area. In the last forty five years Quito has grown, and the property that once served as a weekend home, has evolved into a great place to host family friends and guests.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

All the wood works are custom made, which gives the place a unique touch! The balcony in the back of the house faces north, looking over where the equator line divides the globe into two hemispheres. I truly enjoyed the view from the kitchen bay window with the Casitagua in the horizon during the sunset. It is a property that enjoys a quiet and relaxed environment with a World Heritage city a few miles away.
