Pine Tree Cabin at Tall Timbers Retreat! Sleeps 13

This is Pine Tree Cabin at Tall Timbers Retreat and Lodge. Each cabin It sleeps up to 13 people or 9 people in individual beds. Downstairs we have one private room with a California king bed. Upstairs is one private room with a queen bed and a bunk bed. Also upstairs is a large loft area with five single beds. (Note: You must walk through this room to access the private bedroom upstairs.) We also have a full bed pull out sofa in the downstairs living area. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

Tall Timbers caters to families who enjoy an active lifestyle and also like to unwind. Outside your door, 30 wooded acres invite you to explore. Take a walk down to the barn. Gather your family and have a day of fun playing sand volleyball, corn-hole, or utilize our on-site baseball/soccer field. Grab a book and take advantage of our outdoor swings and rocking chairs. Imagine the peaceful and tranquil sounds of nature as you let your troubles fade away with the afternoon breeze. As evening approaches, gather around the bonfire and gaze at the stars while making s`mores.

We are pet-friendly! Pets and animals may be accommodated with applicable pet fees. Barn and pasture use for larger animals, including horses, requires advance inquiry and is subject to availability.

Guests enjoy full access to the grounds and their private cabin, with support always available by phone.

Located just 5 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the property offers peaceful country living with the convenience of being close to everything the town has to offer.

Totally awesome

The place was clean and well kept. The location is quiet and close to the city where if you need something you can hop in the car and be there and back in less that 20 minutes. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place.

Plenty of room. Bret and Blake are wonderful hosts! We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit. Very nice and quiet area, my children enjoyed basketball goals. Beds were comfortable. We would love to stay again!

Host was great . He contacted me as we arrived and I was able to call and ask questions about accommodations and items that were needed. He arrived quickly with needed items.Some of the blinds were missing the wands which made it hard to open and close.Couches definitely needed to wiped cleaned and swept from behind. Other than that my family had fun

Baseball Tournament Stay

We rented this property during our Regional Baseball Tournament. We had 7 adults and 5 children and this house was perfect! We had plenty of room for everyone to have space but also were able to all mingle in the living room and the kitchen. The house was very clean and ready when we arrived, each bed was made and had fresh towels laid out on each. When we arrived I contacted ownership to let them know we were there and they walked me through the house and what all was available to us while we stayed. Since we were there for the tournament they allowed us to communicate with them during the whole stay about if we were needing to stay longer. The host was amazing and very accommodating and helpful with all of our needs and understanding of what we had going on. The property was big enough for all families that were there and it was great to allow the kids to play outside in a safe area. I would highly recommend staying at these cabins and if we are back in the area that is where we will stay again.

Family Gathering

The property was great it was private and a very well keep place to stay and it was truly a joy being there the kids had a personal play ground and a basketball area for them just say it was well worth it! I really didn't want to rate the property manager because I didn't have any communication with them cause everything was done by email so I never saw them so that was fine with me so that's why I just gave a 5 star rating anyway cause everything else was wonderful!

Perfect gathering spot for SFA graduation

Due to graduation schedule and commitments we didn’t get to fully enjoy all of the amenities. It was close enough to town to run in for a meal or to pick something up. One of the steps was lose. Amparo was quick to respond by sending out a handyman to secure the step. Our college age kids said it felt like summer camp for adults. Note - check with owner to be sure the washer and dryer work before you come as that truly effects the amount you will need to pack. We didn’t need to wash since we only spent the weekend but it would be an issue if you’re staying longer.

Our family stayed here when we came to our daughters graduation. There was plenty of room and the property was wonderful to spend time outdoors.

Family Weekend

The property itself is beautiful. The cabin is ok. Needs to be updated. The pullout couch matress is filthy. There were no sheets for the pullout bed or cot. You get one towel and rag per person registered. There were no pot holders or kitchen towels at all. The grill on the back porch was a small table top grill that had not been cleaned and no table for it to sit on. The fire pit was wonderful. We enjoyed it very much. I was disapointed that when looking at rentals, it showed horses, but there were none on the property. Overall, we had a good time together as a family, Not sure if I would bring our large group back. I would not want anyone to have to sleep on that pullout ever again.

Nice cabin

We had a great time staying at the cabin. Nice people to work with and went out of the way to help us. It worked great for graduation. I would have given it 5 stars but it needs some updating and minor maintenance. We would stay there again.
