The apartment is a duplex in a 14th century Gothic palace. The apartment has been completely renovated, with regard to its original colors, style and materials. You will find it a very pleasant stay, because it is quiet, very sunny, spacious: the apartment measures 140 m² (1506 square feet). There are three comfortable bedrooms, a large, fully functional, well-equipped modern kitchen, three bathrooms and large living room. The living room has a fireplace. the apartment is fully furnished with all the necessary comforts and has a view to the south on a calm canal. All amenities are available: 41 inch LCD TV, Bose sound system with DVD, wireless Internet access, air conditioning. I just bought a very comfortable and modern sofa from the famous Italian design brand "Living": you will find it extremely comfortable!

The Cannaregio area is very Venetian, all the shops are nearby: market, butcher, grocery store, fish, bars, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, all within a radius of 200/400 meters. The apartment accommodates up to 6 people.

The Cannaregio Canal, which was the main road in the city until the construction of a rail link to the mainland, gave the district its name. Development began in the 11th century as the area was drained and parallel canals were dredged. Although elegant Arab-Normans were built opposite the Grand Canal, the region grew mainly with the working class of housing and manufacturing. The history of the Venice Ghetto is fascinatingly sparked. When on March 29, 1516, the government of the Serenissima Repubblica issued special laws, the first Ghetto in Europe was instituted.
