Downtown Natchitoches House With Private Balconies!

This whole house rental was recently renovated and is located in the historic district of downtown Natchitoches. It has three bedrooms and four bathrooms with a large gourmet kitchen, spacious living area, dining room and courtyard. Each of the bedrooms includes a queen or double bed and ensuite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms also have a single bed for a child and French doors which open out to a balcony. One balcony has a fantastic view of Natchitoches' historic Immaculate Conception Church, fire works as well as the beautiful downtown. The second balcony overlooks the private courtyard. A second full kitchen and additional half bath are off the private courtyard which can double as private parking for one large SUV or two small sedans.

Wow! We were blown away at how great this place is. It's so spacious & beautiful. The balconies are fabulous and the view of the fireworks was spectacular. Love the garage parking. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless and thoughtfully curated. From 6 to 70 years old, we all had a wonderful stay!

Girls Weekend

Perfect location for the Jazz Festival. The VRBO is very nice and spacious. We loved the balconies and the courtyard. Loved the secure parking. We can’t wait to stay again.

Amazing property, highly recommend!

The property is amazing! It is a must stay for anyone traveling to Natchitoches. It is centrally located near all downtown restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Also, check-in process and communication with property managers were outstanding. We highly recommend!

Best Location!!

We enjoyed the parade, the fireworks, the market, the restaurants, and everything downtown Natchitoches has to offer!!! The house is just AWESOME!! So much space and amenities and it's in the perfect spot to take in all the fun in December.

Always a Pleasure

We stay here every year for an annual business meeting. The courtyard is wonderful for entertaining. Alice is a gracious host, and my husband and I love the place. We highly recommend it (just not during our annual booking, please).

Great property

We had a wonderful stay this weekend in Natchitoches. This house has it ALL! Beautifully remodeled! The hostess was very helpful and even sent us information about the holiday events happening while we were there. We would highly recommend this residence!

Perfect Location!

This was the perfect place to stay while in town for the Christmas light festival. You could sit on the balcony to enjoy the fireworks and only steps away from the festival. Although we didn’t spend much time in the home, there was a lot of space for family gatherings.

Absolutely Love This Place

We come to Natchitoches annually for a conference and this is our second year at this house. We love this place. It's beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located. This year we held a small function for some of our clients downstairs in the courtyard, and everyone raved. We'll be back.

Our New Natchitoches Headquarters

I have stayed in VRBO properties around the world, and this one is the best ever! The apartment is beautiful and spacious and we were very comfortable. We were able to cook full meals for our family in the well appointed kitchen and everything we could possibly need was there. The outdoor patios were so nice and lovely to have evening drinks or morning coffiee. The property was so close to the riverbank, shopping and restaurants. We felt extremely safe and secure there. We all agreed that there was no need to resort to hotels when we visit our hometown anymore.

Chamber Christmas Party

We had our Chamber Christmas Party at the H.A. Cook Guesthouse, and it was such a great experience! The space has so much charm and character—it was the perfect setting for a festive gathering. The layout worked really well for our group, giving everyone plenty of room to enjoy the evening. The staff at the Guesthouse were super helpful and made the whole process so easy for us. You can tell they care about making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s the cozy indoor spaces or the beautiful outdoor setting, the H.A. Cook Guesthouse truly offers something special. We’re so glad we chose this venue—it made our party feel extra memorable. Highly recommend!

Just Prefect

I was shown the unit by the owner on the last trip and was stunned. Decided this year to stay here for Christmas instead of a Hotel. The place is located just steps from all the action with a great balcony in front to watch the firework show Saturday night, did not have to be on the streets fighting to get a spot. The house was way more than 6 people needed, but it was great to have space to be by yourself. The back balcony was almost totally private where you could not be seen from the street. The elevator was great to have as my wife has a bad knee and climbing stair is really hard for her. Other areas that we did not use much but could be an added plus, Court yard with table, chairs, fountain and fire pit. Kitchen attached to the court yard. The courtyard would be a great spot to have a large party or gathering.
