Quant two bedroom one bath beach hide a way, located just a few steps to the beach and boardwalk. Tastefully decorated in beach décor you will find everything needed for a vacation get a way. No need to drive anywhere, local shops and restaurants located just a few blocks away. Seal Beach is a quite beach bedroom community located between Huntington Beach and Long Beach. Centrally located just a 45 min drive in any direction you can visit such local landmarks and events such as; Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm, DTLA, DTLB, fishing, boating or just laying on the beach.

House is apx 1200 sq ft located in a quite residential area adjacent to a large greenbelt park. Equipped with all appliances including washer and drier. Living room is equipped with 60' LCD TV, all cable channels, dvd, surround sound and a cozy living room. Additional items such as boogie boards and surfing equip can be rented at local shops.

Perfect location in Seal Beach

I stayed 3 months in this charming beach cottage that is truly just steps to the beach. The home is cozy and well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Steve is an excellent host; super communicative, very easy to get a hold of when needed and takes great care to make sure guests feel right at home. The home is located within walking distance of a charming downtown with restaurants and shops. If you don’t feel like eating out, there is a kitchen with excellent appliances and everything you need to make a wonderful meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Steve’s beach cottage. I can’t wait to come back!

Beach Cottage in Seal Beach

Good place for a beach vacation or a visit to the North Orange County coast. My wife and I stayed for seven weeks during home remodeling and found this small house snug and outfitted for multiple night stays. The beach is less than a block from the back door and there is a quick shower by the rear gate. Seal Beach has several good restaurants with various price ranges and there is assorted fast food. Grubhub is available for those who do not want to cook dinner - good service but a little pricey. We particularly enjoyed Finbar's restaurant and local Thai food. Steve and Denise are responsive to questions. The living room is nice with a fine television. The mattress in the rear bedroom was very comfortable. The place would be best for one or two couples or a small family. Washer and dryer in the small back porch. The coolest place to hang out is the back patio. There is no A/C. The house is cooled by winds off the ocean that are directed throughout by opening and closing windows. The generally works pretty well. There are also overhead fans and a portable one. A note to elderly or health impaired: my wife and I are both seniors and there a couple of uncomfortable nights during an unseasonable heat wave. Be careful and stay hydrated. I recommend this property.

Fabulous Family retreat even better than described

Our family of four enjoyed 6 weeks at the Steve's Seal Beach property. The home is as described. Very clean and well maintained with everything you need for a short or long-term stay. There is a small outdoor area and shower which is perfect when returning from the beach. The beach is a 6 minute walk and the adorable small town is less than 15 minutes. Both rooms had comfortable beds and the bathrooms had enough towels for our family of four. The kitchen has everything you could need for a small or large meal and there is a dining table for four. Steve was always available to answer questions and treated us very well! We will be back again and recommend this prize home to anyone!

Loved this charming house and adorable area!

I stayed at this house for 4 months. I absolutely loved it. It was just across a small alley from the beach, and a few blocks from main street. You are close enough to ride a beach cruiser or walk to restaurants and easily walk home from a night at the local bars. Seal beach is a wonderful area. It's a unique gem in Orange County. The shops, restaurants, and bars will entertain you in the winter months. The beach is all you need in the summer. The convenience of walking right out onto the beach made it so easy to spend my days soaking up the California sun. Steve and his mom were so helpful during my stay. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. They even lent me an adorable bike to use during my stay. I recommend this home, and would stay again if I return!

Wonderful Seal Beach retreat!

Our month in Seal Beach was wonderful! We stayed in this well equipped, clean, cared for home. Upon arrival we were met by Diane who was helpful and informative (she also grows DELICIOUS tomatoes). The only hitch during the stay was a few hours without hot water. Steve contacted a repairman and within only two hours of our alerting him the problem was fixed. This is a quiet community within walking distance to the pier and beach. Our two children loved our stay and we will for sure book again. I have nothing but positive memories and praises for the wonderful Seal beach retreat!

Perfect For Any Type of Getaway

We stayed here while our flooded kitchen was being repaired. This home has everything you need, whether for a quick getaway, a longer vacation, or in our case a temporary home. The kitchen is fully stocked, the living room is not only beautiful, but comfortable, and the bed is amazing! Thank you, Steve.

Very cute

First off I must say how fabulous Steve and Diane are perfect hosts.The little house has everything you need. A half mile to the pier, restaurants and shops.Two blocks to the mighty Pacific!

I have lived in Seal Beach for many years and have yet to find a town like this. When I come home from vacation I feel as though I'm traveling to another destination. Its a blue collar town with t shirts and flip flops being the standard attire here. I enjoy sharing this experience with other people who come and visit.

This property was a second home build in 1942 for people vacationing in the summer time. I purchased the property from the original owner and have lived here for the last ten years.
