Great Location.

Great location on property. Close to pool, stairs and parking lot. Great communication with Owner. Our kids loved the bunk beds. Screened in porch was a bonus.

The perfect family getaway.

We had a wonderful time in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. It's convenient to the beach and two outdoor pools, as well as an indoor pool. The super clean condo was decorated beautifully and had all the amenities of home. We can't wait to return.

Fun in the sun!

We had a ball at the Beach Bar for Happy Hour in the afternoon where we grabbed a late lunch after our arrival. Very quaint and friendly place to stay close the beach with a scenic board walk view. Enjoyed biking around the local scene of Hilton Head Island and the excellent restaurants located close by. We went as a couple but it's a great atmosphere for families too. Looking forward to staying again!

Great Find!

Our stay was wonderful! Condo was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The location of this condo was perfect-close to outdoor pool with bar and grill, elevator and boardwalk to the beach! Communication with owner was great and informative, she made check in/finding the condo a breeze. We would definitely book again on our next trip to Hilton Head Resort!

2nd Time Around

We love this property so much we had to come back for the second year in a row! As always the property was immaculately clean and was perfect for our family to hang out for the week with each other. Selina was always responsive to any questions we had and the condo has everything you need. Love how close it is to the beach and the resorts pools. Definitely recommend!

Family friendly, cozy resort

My husband, (almost) 2 year old son and I really enjoyed our stay at Bare feet Beach Resort. It was so convenient to already have the Pack-N-Play and all beach necessities available rather than lugging it all with us. We did not have the best weather our week but got to enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools as well as beach. Selina was very quick to answer any questions, but was so thorough we didn't have many to ask.

Excellent vacation

Condo had everything we could want. Comfy beds, excellent shower water pressure, dishes, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and more. We did not ever wish for anything. Tennis courts easy to get on to play day or night. Walk to beach was an enjoyable 10 minute walk on a boardwalk. Indoor pool was warm. We had a great time and would stay here again!

Highly recommend

It was a great experience. If we had a problem, quick response & taken care of immediately from the owner. Very clean & updated. Location of the condo was perfect. Love having the porch screened in. Just wish there was a washer/dryer in the condo.

Perfect condo for family of three.

Super cute (looked recently updated) and clean condo with a short walk to beach. The beach is a 5 minute walk over a beautiful boardwalk with lots of marsh and wetland wildlife. If you don’t want to walk, there is a golf cart shuttle. Plenty of beach gear provided. Bike rental on property with lots of bike path options nearby. Cocos (bar/restaurant) on the beach right at the end of boardwalk. It’s a great location. The condo was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed for a fun stay in Hilton Head.

Everything I needed!

I really enjoyed everything about this stay. It had everything I needed. The unit is very well maintained and clean. It is in a nice location, close to the pools, parking, elevator, and to the boardwalk that takes you to the beach. That part of the beach is perfect as it doesn’t get crowded as Other areas in Hilton Head. The unit is well equipped, including the beach amenities. I would definitely recommend this listing. Comfortable, a warm-screened balcony and hosted with a very responsive host.

Impressive!

Hilton Head Resort is in the midst of improving and renovating and this definitely will call us back to the island we enjoy visiting year after year! We made some good memories staying at this property and the property owner was responsive and understanding to some of our requests. The condo itself is tranquil and tastefully decorated with a Beach Vibe! The biggest complaint from our teenage children is not wanting to leave! Those words: Priceless 😌

Amy, it was a joy hosting your family. I never would have know there were teens there. It was so clean. Sorry about pool 1 and the deli being closed. Thankfully it opens before you left. Thanks for being such great guests.

It was okay...

The actual unit looks just like the pictures and it was clean. Those are very important factors and we were happy with that. We really liked that they provide beach toys and chairs to use for their guests. Upon our arrival, the security guards informed us that there was no record of our arrival, which was surprising to us. Consequently, we did not have access to the property after driving 5 hours with children in the car. We contacted the owners, and Jen let us know that she forgot to inform them as she was entertaining in her own home that weekend (Easter weekend). That did not sit well with us. She did contact the security and we were allowed in after 30 minutes of waiting on the side of the entrance to the property. Make sure you do a search for the property and reviews of it. The unit has been upgraded but the property is not what we expected. This is our fault as we did not do the research on the property and only looked at the unit. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again for the aforementioned reasons because we are looking for more than an affordable place to stay for vacation- the amenities of the property and overall experience are also very important to us.

Sorry that you were not pleased with your stay. You are first three star review since we starting renting out our other unit in summer 2014, so please know we strive to ensure each guest has a nice stay with us. I was not trying to say I forgot to leave pass because I was entertaining that weekend, it is why I didn't hear my phone ring when you texted. I'm actually surprised that security didn't give you a temporary pass, that is what has happened in the past when there was a mix up at the gate, I'll look into that. I understand your frustration at not being able to get in after a long road trip. As far as the property itself, it was build in the 1980's and I think the regime has done a fantastic job keeping the pools, tennis courts, and especially the boardwalk to the beach updated. An added bonus being two casual restaurants on site, one with beach view, which you will not find at this price point anywhere on Hilton Head. Like you said, our getaway is affordable - you can find nicer on the island with a hefty price tag, but we are proud to give families affordable getaways in a nice unit with private beach access. Thanks.

My family has stayed at this and many other resorts on HHI over the past 40 years. I come prepared for a certain experience. I way over packed for this particular unit. This hostess has thought of everything. The condo it’s self is super well kept for this particular resort. It’s won me over in the finishing details. It’s well stocked and well decorated. I do most of my cooking ahead of time because you never know what you’ll get in these condos. However, this place has A+ appliances. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The decorations are beautiful yet simple. She has a convenient storage locker with nice beach chairs and other beach essentials. The beds, pillows, bedding, bath towels, and beach towels were excellent quality. I left thinking I need these upgrades in my own home lol. I love the location of the unit. There aren’t any beach views from this entire resort, so I hate that some other reviews have taken a star off for that. It is not advertised as such and frequent visitors to the resort know this. Yes the boardwalk is long, but it also closes at 10 making me feel safe. My family enjoys the walk to the beach. It has a different feel in the evenings when the tide comes in. Anyway, I love this condo and hope to stay in the same unit next year. Thank you so much for the care and consideration you put into your rental. My family enjoyed it and each other for our short stay.

Great Location!

We had a great time at hilton head resort. Great for small and big kids. The pool bar was perfect for the adults. Beach was so clean and not busy at all in July. First time to hilton head beach and we will be back! Thank you!

Great stay

The condo was perfect. It was well stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect location to the beach and close to all the shopping and restaurants. Any time I had questions Selina, the owner, was always helpful and prompt in responding. Highly recommend staying here!

Will Come Again!

My husband and daughter and I had the best stay here in Hilton Head at Selena's place. It was really clean and the decor was super cute making it feel like a home away from home. Well stocked with TVs, videos, games, beach equipment and kitchen and baby items. Beds were comfortable. Private access to the beach was nice. We didn't use the pools, but it was nice to know they were there. Bike rentals on site were a plus. Laundry near our room was convenient. One thing you may want to do is grab some hand soap for the kitchen sink and bathrooms while you're out grabbing groceries. We would definitely stay here again...hope to have the chance to soon.

Really good stay

We really enjoyed our stay at HHResort. The condo was adorable with all the beach decoration and super clean. Everything is updated and of good quality. Perfect size for us ( 3 adults) and location worked out well for us. Beach is a short walk and plenty of golf courses nearby. Good restaurant options were just a few minutes drive. Loved it and will recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful Stay!!

My family and I stayed at this property for a week and absolutely loved our stay. It was perfect for us and had everything that we needed. The unit was clean and well-stocked. Selina was wonderful to work with and very responsive. We would definitely return for another visit.

Perfect vacation spot!!

We absolutely loved this unit! Sabrina was the best host we have ever had! The unit was spotless and truly felt like home! It was decorated in a cute beach theme and had everything we needed and more! The resort also had so many amenities that we rarely had to leave. The path to the beach was a beautiful 10 minute walk over a boardwalk that led to the cleanest, prettiest beach I’ve ever seen. I am so pleased with our stay and hope to book with Sabrina again for our next beach vacation!

Being military; we have lived in 2 countries, 5 states and 8 homes. Over the years we have enjoyed moving but as our kids have gotten older we realized we needed a place to call home. When we found The Low Country and Hilton head Island we fell in love and knew we found home.

The first time we visited Hilton Head Resort we knew immediately it felt like home. While walking the board walk to the beach we imagined our kids racing down to the beach, playing in the tide pools and doing cannon balls in the indoor pool. Even though our kids are a little older now we are still excited about all the memories to made in the future. At The Bare Feet Beach Retreat we hope to be able to help make those memories for your family. With or without kids there are a lot of sun rises to see, sand castles to build and waves to surf. We love the Low Country and would love to share it with you.
