We welcome you to our restored 17th century village house in the heart of beautiful Verteuil sur Charente.The property is at the foot hill of the chateau and only a stones throw from the river and mill.The village has 5 restaurants,wine bar,butchers,general provisions shop,Antique shop,Ladies and gents hair dressers,chemist and florists.Our property has a very large kitchen dining area on the ground floor,which has air conditioning.The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are on the 1st floor.The bedrooms are set up as 1 double and 2 singles.To the 2nd level is a very large living room with views of the chateau.Our property is registered with the Chambre de Commerce Angouleme as a Gite.We have also been approved by the Ruffec tourism office and listed on their website.Recently "James Martins" French Adventure was filmed on location here in Verteuil.We also have an area by the river which guests can sit back and enjoy.We supply a table,chairs,bbq and charcol.
