Contemporary log home at the foot of the Grand Tetons in Alta, Wyoming, five miles east of Driggs, Idaho. Heated slate floor, wood stove, outdoor jacuzzi, kitchen opens into the great room. In winter, check out the slopes of Grand Targhee Ski Area, known for its powder, from the jacuzzi or cross country ski out the front door. In summer, you're minutes away from hiking and bike trails and world-class fishing.

Beautiful Home - and Robin was easy and great to communicate with. Out of major town areas for complete relaxation. But, close and short drive to everything.

Peaceful and restorative

Every window in the house has a view of nature, with the main focus on the Tetons in all their glory. The grounds around the house are beautiful also, and the peace and quiet are very special. The house is close enough to Driggs that getting supplies is easy, and of course there are many things to do and see - hike in Teton Canyon just up the road, go to Grand Targhee, visit the parks, etc. Lots of wildlife, too, especially birds and deer. My dogs and I spent a wonderful month here enjoying the solitude. If the house is available, don’t hesitate to book it, as you won’t be sorry. I was here during the fall, and the transition from gold on the aspens to the beauty of snow everywhere was wonderful. Bring your camera.

Wonderful Wyoming getaway

We loved this beautiful log home with a Teton view and lots of privacy! Nestled into the trees and snowbanks, this home allowed us to enjoy creature comforts and solitude while being very close to Targhee and Driggs. Definitely made our"Top Ten Trips" list! Thank you!

Wonderful Retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Very private and the Tetons can be seen from the rear yard. Hot tub and outdoor shower were welcome amenities. Very rural and upscale neighborhood.

Thank you for the use of your home! The outdoor shower was wonderful!! We found everything we needed in the kitchen to make great meals! Easy access to all the outdoor activities of the Teton Valley!

Tibet meets the Tetons

This house is beautiful and comfortable. The heated slate floors make jumping out of bed in the morning easy. The living area with its fabulous views is wonderful and open to the kitchen, which is well stocked with everything needed for cooking great food. The hot tub is warm and inviting when you arrive. And the many decorative touches make you feel like you could be in the Himalayas! Thank you Robin for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Amazing!!!!!

The photos do this property justice but the privacy, western view of the Tetons, and shear spaciousness of the home and acreage for my party of 2 couples cannot be described accurately!! Robin was wonderful and accommodating and she truly provides the feeling like it's your own getaway cabin in paradise. We watched the fireworks show from the nearby Idaho town of Driggs on the Fourth of July and enjoyed the Western night sky from the privacy of a clean, functioning and spacious hot tub! Her gardener, Jamie, our only visitor in 3 days (unless you count Dotty, the Mule deer fawn in the yard), was very unobtrusive as she busily improved the landscaping. Though we were obviously not in season, the location for skiing at The Grand Targhee Ski Resort is perfect! Oh, to see it in snow... I can only imagine!!! My only disappointment was that the property wasn't available the whole six days I needed! So, schedule as early as possible; Robin's calendar fills up fast!!! Thank you again, Robin!! It was a grand treat for these flatlanders! Dennis

Peaceful Country Setting With Stunning Views Of The Grand Tetons And Teton Valley!

We will be back! This was the perfect place to come back to after day hiking in the Grand Teton National Park! This home is an oasis from the crowds and chaos of the busy season. The home is warm and comfortable with big views through lots of windows. We enjoyed the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and main living area which allows for conversation while preparing and cooking dinner, lunch, or breakfast. Though the photos of this lovely Alta home were great, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that they did not truly take in the beauty of this amazing setting. The eastern view of the Grand Tetons is magnificent! The western view of Teton Valley and the sunset is peaceful, serene and equally magnificent! These Incredible views are seen through openings in an intentional grove of aspen, blue spruce, and a sprinkling of colorful wild flowers that surround the home. We were welcomed daily by a Mule Deer and woke to the sounds of meadow birds singing their daily praises. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, this is an incredible place to find it. The owner, Robin, was responsive, thoughtful and helpful. The home was clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the bedding cozy. We stayed in Alta for 4 days and wished we had stayed longer. The town of Driggs has a wonderful whole foods/co-op type store with lots of yummy organics and the Teton Thai restaurant is our favorite "ever" Thai! Thank you Robin! Our stay at your home in Alta was more than we had anticipated!

Wonderful house for family Christmas

We just stayed at this house for Christmas 2015. Great location and a beautiful view of the Tetons, a fresh 40+ inches of snow made it even more enjoyable. Owners had very good communication and they made sure everything was clean and ready for our stay. We didn't think or say once we wish this place had this or that, this place has everything for a great vacation.

Simply Amazing!

My wife and I stayed at Robin's home during part of our honeymoon and cannot say enough good thihgs about the property. We had everything we could ever need there (and then some). We used the home as a base point for traveling into the Grand Teton and Yellowstone parks, but we would've been content to just stay at the home the whole time too! The hot tub is great, there is a grill and an outdoor shower, and the views of the Tetons are unbelievable - they're right in your backyard! We had also never seen the stars at night quite like you can see them at Robin's home - the sky is so clear and beautiful there. We would recommend this home to anyone. Robin was great - very prompt and accommodating the entire time. If you're still trying to decide where to stay in the Grand Teton/Yellowstone area, go with this home - you will NOT be disappointed.

Piece of Paradise

This location and home is simply wonderful. Great feeling and decor, you won't want to leave. Very clean and beautiful. The only downside was that the master didn't have a Queen size mattress. Not a huge deal though.
