Unique mountain chalet attic flat in centre of Courmayeur's ski domain

A GREAT ADVENTURE. Stay right up in the mountain in the heart of Courmayeur's winter skiing and summer trekking domain. The flat is small but truly wonderful due to its unique position. Situated in the heart of the Courmayeur ski and trekking area at 1800m this is a unique apartment for 4 (+2) people on the top floor with a sunny balcony.

This is a wonderful place to stay is right in the heart of the Courmayeur ski domain. Winter access is only during the day by ski lift. It offers the perfect relaxing holiday by avoiding lift queues in the morning, having home always nearby and the perfect isolation of being up the deserted mountain in the evening. Be the first on the slopes as you ski down to catch the first lifts of the day. Discover and explore the amazing backcountry off piste skiing that gives you access to splendid solitude surrounded by Mont Blanc and the Aosta Valley's spectacular scenery and deep powder snow if you are lucky. We live in Courmayeur and are always around to give a hand or show you around the slopes on your first day.
Summer holidays offer wonderful walks, marmotte spotting and peace and quiet. Access is a mountainous road that needs a 4x4 or we can drop you there at beginning and end of stay and your car is about 20 minutes away on foot. There is loads to do: treks though the amazing mountain scenery, exploration of the forests, day trips to Aosta to see the Roman remains, play golf in Val Ferret, a day trip to Chamonix, pick blueberries and mushrooms in the summer, walk 10 mins down the hill to the open air swimming pool.

Food can be pre delivered before your arrival if you give us a list before the snow comes (mid november). There is also a restaurant nearby which will stay open in evenings if pre booked and is also open throughout the summer months.

In the winter to reach the appartment guests must take either the lift from Dolonne or Courmayeur to Plan Chercrouit and then the chair lift Maison Vieille or Pra Neyron. The last chairlift of the day is at 16.15 so guests must plan to take either the cable car from Courmayeur or the gondola from Dolonne by 15.45. during the summer there is road access by 4x4 vehicle or we can take you up at the beginning and end of stay. It is possible to reach the appartment on foot after taking the bubble up from Dolonne and then the Maison Vieille chairlift.
There is a restaurant 100m away open all day which will remain open in the evenings if pre booked. there is also a very lively refuge just 5 minutes away on foot.
We will meet you at the cable car on your arrival and accompany you up the mountain to the chalet.We are around in Courmayeur during the winter and thesummer and can always help with organising mountain guides, ski instructors, ski rental, renting bikes or anything else.
We can organise ski or snowboard lessons for you as well as a ski guide to take you off piste or even a heliski trip. Or if you would like we can accompany you on your first day to show you the slopes.

Getting around
There is a public car park in the centre of town where you can leave your car for the week. You really won't need it because you will not want to come down from the mountain.
