I really enjoyed staying here great location. The only negative I have is there is no air-conditioning in the bedrooms it could do with ceiling fans.

Thank for your review, due to the continuing heatwaves that we are experiencing, we have already put in hand an exercise to have the bedrooms fitted with air-co. The structure of the apartment makes this not as simple as we would like. Come back next year to discover what we have done, mobile units are too noisy for bedrooms.

The balcony has full sun and view over the plaza.All washable hard surfaces were clean. It was spacious with plenty of storage. No drainage smells. Management company were quick to respond to my concerns. It was kind to have left water, wine and milk for us. However bedding, mattress covers, soft furnishings all need replacing. Disappointingly, repairs mentioned in previous reviews that have not been put right yet.

This is our second time staying here, and we absolutely love the location since we have friends and family nearby. The apartment was just what we needed—a great base close to food and drinks, and the Plaza had everything we could ask for. Overall, the apartment was very clean and spacious, providing all the essentials. We did encounter a small issue with the shower not draining quickly enough, which caused some overflow onto the bathroom floor, and the TV occasionally froze due to a low Wi-Fi signal. We mentioned these to the management company at checkout, so we hope they can resolve them soon. Neither of these issues impacted our stay, and we will definitely come back again because the location is fantastic. We’re already looking forward to our trip next year!

Many thanks for your review, look forward to seeing you again. Wi fi cannot be controlled, but we are assured that the current supplier is the "Fastest in the area". We have notified the managers of the overflow, but as there are drains in the floor, the water should have dissipated fairly quickly.

Fantastic location

Nice apartment surrounded by bars and restaurants and only 10 minutes drive to some lovely beaches. We really enjoyed our stay.

The meet and greet was smooth, Graham showed us everything we needed to know and offered to tell us about the area, this, plus the little booklet proved most helpful.

Late night noise took a bit of getting used to, but enjoyed the stay. Very pleasant property manager.

Many thanks for your review, sadly, being in the heart of one of the liveliest centres, noise is an element which is hard to control. We are in the final preparations for updating the apartment over the winter and are currently waiting for estimates for triple glazing which may reduce the noise and afford quieter nights. typical holiday apartment in a good location

Clean and tidy apartment with the normal appliances available. Very good location for a multitude of bars and restaurants and only a 5 or 6 minutes drive to some very nice beaches.

check went smoothly. the accommodation was close to most things, bars, restaurants shops ect. closest beach was 40 mins walk or 10 mins drive. communication was spot on.

Excellent holiday apartment

Apartment was in the middle of everything, bars, restaurants and supermarket all within the Plaza. We have been coming to Alicante and to be honest Villamartin Plaza is definitely the best place we have stayed. Nice places to eat, great bars and entertainment. While we did go to the beach a few days and Torrevieja you honestly have everything on your doorstep within the Plaza. Would definitely recommend and would stay in same apartment anytime.

Great for night owls as noisy Super location. Cleanliness was ok - Floors not so clean. Air con not very powerful and only in lounge. One fan in one bedroom the other nothing. All ok for a short break but very hot in August. Pool great.

A sunny break

We like this apartment and general location. What we didn't like was the karaoke down below continuing to 2.30 every morning. Very loud.

Hi Tom, It appears that the bar have remained open & noisy at least 1 hour after the permitted limit (supposed to be behind closed doors as well.) I have written to the administrators on our behalf and will keep you updated. This behaviour needs calling out, so thank you. Hope to see you again and this will not put you off for good. Sorry that you did not mention your problems to our local manager at the time, the boiler has now been replaced, lock will be renewed, this damage was due to overenthusiastic visitors! Door in utility room needed removal to accomodate upgraded refrigerator. Now gone! PS Security has been maintained through deadlock.

Overall very good

We enjoyed our stay very much with one or two niggles which aren't the fault of the appartment.There were more steps than we anticipated .it was hotter than we expected and occasional smell of drains in bathroom but overall an enjoyable holiday.Would recommend.

Thanks for the positive review, we cannot control the weather, better hot than cold, we are all awaiting the installation of the lifts in the course of the next couple of years, making the stairs "for exercise only" and, sadly, despite all our efforts, the communal drains do get dry at various levels and cause the smell, glad that, despite these niggles, you enjoyed your holiday, look forward to seeing you in the future. Property required an update sewer smells reported

Fixtures and fittings falling off wife was ill left a week early waited for keys 2 hours notified contact didn't turn up before we left notified him put keys on table and left some locks on doors didn't work or missing

As we are in Belgium until late October, we rely on our Managing Agent to look after the property and the visitors for us. Rest assured that there will be changes made when we return to Spain and the Apartment will be put in order before any other visitors arrive. We understand that the sickness suffered by your wife was coronary and we sincerely hope that she recovers quickly. We will investigate the problem of the smells as a matter of urgency.
