Fantastic holiday house located by the sea on the small island Håkøya. Would you like to visit Tromsø, and have the nature and the sea as your nearest neighbour, this is the place for you. Enjoy the city life in Tromsø, or have a nice quiet meal in the midnightsun by the campfire at the shoreline – the choice is yours!

In the summer you can see the midnight sun, and in the winter season you often see the Aurora Borealis from one of our two balconies.

This is a light and modern house, fully equipped. Kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee machine, wine cabinet and a big refrigerator.

Iron, ironing board, washer and dryer.
Accommodates 2 peopel.
Bedding and towels included.
Jacuzzi for an additional fee, contact us for details.

You have the sun 24-hours in the summer and it can be enjoyed outside on one of our comfortable outdoor seating areas.
you can enjoy activities as biking, hiking, fishing from the bridge or walking at the shoreline.
By car it is 16 km, or 20 min, driving from downtown Tromsø

Fantastisk hyggelig bolig midt i naturen

Denne bolig er virkelig værd at besøge. Esther er en super serviceminded udlejer der hjælper og giver gode anbefalinger. Boligen er placeret på en bro fast ø bare 20 minutter fra lufthavnen. Her er ro og fred og er man heldig kan man se både elg og sæl. I vinterhalvåret er her super muligheder for at se nordlyset…vi så det hel på bare 3 dage😊

An amazing stay

We stayed for 7 nights and it was perfect! Plenty of room to spread out and a great view!! Quiet neighbourhood and near to Tromsö for shopping. Would loved to stay longer, but we are already planning to come back! Highly recommended!!

Zauberhaft

Das schönste Domizil für Ruhesuchende mit Stil. Die Inneneinrichtung ist skandinavisch stylisch. Der Außenbereich mit umwerfender Aussicht auf den Fjord ist sehr einladend gestaltet. Wenige Schritte trennen von einem wunderschönen Strand, der zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen rund um die Insel einlädt. Tromsö ist 20 Minuten vom Ferienhaus entfernt und problemlos zu erreichen. Das Vermieter-Ehepaar Hansen ist äußerst entgegenkommend und hat uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Unser schönster Urlaub bislang - und wir waren schon weltweit unterwegs.

Sehr schönes Haus in perfekter Lage

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Durch die vielen Fenster und die erhöhte Lage gibt es einen perfekten Ausblick aufs Meer und die umliegenden Berge. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit moderner, hochwertiger Technik. Durch Fußbodenheizung sehr angenehm warm. Ruhige Lage und doch nur 10 Minuten Fahrzeit mit dem Auto zum Supermarkt, bzw. 20 min. zum Flughafen Tromsø

Beautiful home overlooking fjord

I recently spent 5 nights in Ester’s beautiful home in Tromso. Everything about my vacation was perfect, from the moment I booked until I left the house. I had emailed Esther and Tage with many questions prior to my arrival and they always answered me promptly. The house was easy to find, only 15 min drive from the airport in Tromso and with a large supermarket only 3 km away for all provisions. I arrived to find the house warm, it was the beginning of December, tastefully decorated with tea and coffee available. The bed was comfortable, linen fresh a plenty of hot water. Very convenient to have washer and dryer in the house as I had already been traveling for a week and need to do laundry . The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped with most appliances. TV has plenty of channels to choose from. There was a lot of snow during my stay so the view across the fjord to the mountains was stunning. This home would be perfect for a family vacation or just simply some time to unwind and watch the snow fall. I hope to return some day. Thank you so much Esther and Tage.

Perfect location to see the Northern Lights

This beautiful property just out of Tromsø is a stunning place to stay. It has a gorgeous view during the day and is perfectly situated to view the Northern Lights at night. We feel very lucky to have found this place and wished we could have stayed longer. If we ever venture back up this way we know where to stay!

Gemütliche Unterkunft direkt am Fjord

Das Haus liegt unterhalb der Straße, die um die Insel Hakoya führt. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei oder mehr Personen. Es besitzt drei Terassen, von denen man einen fantastischen Blick auf den Fjord und die umliegenden Berge hat. Es gibt auch einen direkten Zugang zum Wasser. Bei Ebbe kann man über den Kiesstrand spazieren. Von der Terasse bzw. am Wasser lassen sich problemlos Nordlichter bebobachten. Wenn man sich richtig positioniert, stört auch die Lichtverschmutzung von Tromsö nicht. Der Flughafen Tromsö ist ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Fluglärm haben wir jedoch keinen gehört.

Great Remote location, beautiful house by the water

Friendly and accommodating hosts.The kitchen is equipped with very modern appliances, yet a cook would be missing some basic tools ( among other things no wisk, blender, mixer, soup pureer, masher) and no oven dishes. The HomeAway description should be updated as the bikes and fishing materials advertised are no longer available.
